Dream come true, as a 27 year old from Venezuela it was my first time seeing them, honestly I would have never thought that I would have a chance to ever see them live. I expected them to sound kinda shitty because it was pretty much part of their image and sound, but oh my, did they prove me wrong, they sounded so tight. Easily my highlight from the festival and one of my favorite concerts ever!
Jesus they sound a lot tighter and in the groove than when they started this nostalgia tour in 2021. Good work, gentlemen. You’ve shaken the rust off. The world needs some good ole Pavement slack right now.
Its sooooo good. I saw them twice here in Ireland and they didn't play it either night. I can't rememeber song details anymore, my head's too full of them. Anyway, I put Pavement on the same level as Big Star. Timeless albums and songs.
I know it’s the poppy ‘hit’ or whatever, but ‘Cut Your Hair’ has always been and will always be my favourite. It’s so thick and joyful, and it’s perfect half way through the set like this-the crowd came even more alive and I had the opportunity to rush forward nearer towards the front. Everyone was screaming the words. I proceeded to fall to the floor playing the air guitar solo. One of the most magical moments of my life. Best gig ever.
