and finally !!! I can still see the music performance of my favorite band. all I can say is The National is the best band ever. feel lucky to watch it. note, prepare coffee to watch this show
I left Primavera without seeing all their performances (because I was too tired), which is my biggest regret in 2024, I am madly in love with their music now.
Here we go again. Take me away on the melancholy drive between memory lane, regret ridge, and bittersweet Boulevard. I'll put something in the lemonade and take it with us.
I never gave Laugh Track a decent listen until I heard this live versions of Smoke Detector and Space Invader. It is, like all their work, a master work of absolute geniuses just sad dadding it out.
I've seen them live 5 times. This one was an extremely solid setlist, the one at Razzmatazz was largely the same, however, in a venue with around 1000 people capacity. One of the absolute highlights of the weekend
@@HansArteagaRomero I saw them 2 years ago in front of 2000 people in Manchester . I was only a few feet away from Matt and the stage . No moats ! best gig I have seen the late 1980's.
seen them live over 30 times over the past 15 years…including 3x in the last year (napa, SF, berkeley) what a good year. can’t seem them enough. BUT, Matt is a little too saucy at some shows and slurs more than others. not cool imo still love the shit out of them

The hardest working man in rock and roll is that dude who follows Matt around making sure his mic cable doesn't get snagged on things
underrated comment
Pure commitment 🫶🏾

Not as Good as the Beatles , Deep Purple, Joy Division nor the Velvet Underground . But for me the best band on the planet atm.
You found the slush in my sentiment
You made it sound so intelligent ...

The day I sang Mr. November hugging Matt🥺🥺🥺
What a fucking amazing setlist.

The National or The Strokes?
National: Like
Strokes: Comment
like comparing whiskey and guacamole
And this setlist??! 🥹
no vanderly...why?
Why don't they perform turn off the lights more often
Matt need an intervention: ASAP.
Lovely set!! But damn, sound mixing is pretty bad here :(
and Matt voice 😢
What a bunch of dead set legends
What happened to Matt's voice ?
I dunno. It’s sounded really bad in every recent concert I’ve listened to. . . Age might just be catching up to him.
@@gregorypendell9260 53 is not that extremely old though
It's alright, he is just drunk
