Different markets with different specifications. Living in Sweden, I drive a 2023 CHR Hybrid with 2 liter engine, combined HP is 182, and this car is far from slow, 0-100 km/h can be reached within 8,2 seconds.
I have a hybrid CHR and it is true that the back seat area and boot area are limited. Still fine for 2 or 3 persons but not for a big family. The back seats drop down in case one needs more carriage space. As for a fast acceleration as it is a hybrid I have it on Eco mode which dulls acceleration anyway but is a lot more economical that power mode which is useful when merging into the highway or going up steep slopes. Consumption on eco mode in the city and small country roads is 29 km that is 18 miles per litre. On the highway it drops to 22 Km / 14 miles per litre. As for the noise it doesn't bother me much as I use it mostly in the city working mostly with the electromotor (which is silent) due to lower speeds that it can support without assistance from the engine.
In Japan, adults rarely ride in the back seat. If they do, it is only as a passenger in the back seat of a cab or when a college student with no money is traveling with four friends. Even for married couples, wife owns a kei car( engine 660cc).
@不死鳥-u4e in this case the amount of space for the cream passengers doesn't really matter. As for prepuberty children they are small enough to fit in the back seats comfortably.
@@redemptous In Japan, wives/mothers take their preteen children to and from kindergarten in tall mini=kei(660cc) cars (called tall/height wagons in Japan). HONDA: N-BOX Daihatsu: Tant Suzuki: Spacia.
You telling the truth the toyota Grand highlander is in the good side you didn’t mention about many problems of this SUV airbag issued, acceleration, lock of power the tin hood like soda cans and engine trouble

It's my 3th hybrid Toyota. My C-HR is a super excellent car.

Urban Cruiser is a rebadged Suzuki Grand Vitara. It works extremely well inside town with two passengers. Beyond that, you are on your own.

Rav4 not as good in U.S. as it use to be. Other compact SUVs out there are better. Reliability, ride, cheap inside compared to competitors.
Nou nou ik zou toch nog eens de boeken induiken, CHR afraden??
