Quite honestly, it didn't look like much separated them. Assuming price was similar (I know it might not have been), it seemed the British carriers were better at service than the American carriers, but not enough to avoid any one of them. Norwegian's product is the most low-rent, had the worst check-in experience and everything costs extra, but the hard product didn't look much different than the others. I happen to have a soft spot for the BA 747s, so I would choose them any time I can for as long as they continue flying, but most people don't care. I recently flew to London on a AA 777-300LR, and I liked the IFE selection and had no complaints about the seat/food/service. For a 6 hour eastbound flight to London, not sure the differences add up to a whole lot. Cheapest one works.
I like United. Newark airport is very convenient as there is less traffic and it is easier to get to. Also 767s are better to fly on (in my opinion) as they use a 2 3 2 seat configuration meaning that you are 1 seat from the isle at all times something only the a330 also has.
This was a useful and informative comparison, though I would have appreciated a scorecard at the end. I note that neither American nor United were a commenter's choice, and a majority preferred BA, but none of the airlines would rate as poor. A comparison of ticket price would be interesting as well, though rates bounce around depending on the day and time and traffic load and arbitrary whim, so it wouldn't be particularly valid.
I've had good luck and found myself in first class and business class a few times. But most of it has been my 15 year old daughter's amazing luck winding up in first class. Her first flight between UK and Canada, no such luck. But she was bumped to first class when she flew across again when she was 3 with my parents. Since when do they bump 3 year olds???????????? Again when she was 6 years old, I flew with her from Germany to the US and we were bumped. They had lie flat seats. She rejected 3 meals given to her before they found something she liked. I shooting her looks to stop it and she kept giving me this look like: 'They'll find something.' We fly quite a lot and most flights we're in economy, but if someone's going to be bumped to first class or business class, it's typically her. I haven't had that luck flying with our boys. I think she's just friendlier and talks to people.

I swear that's my biggest gripe with Qantas and Air Canada. For cripe's sake when you're lucky enough to get an empty row, those last 2 inches toward the cabin wall make the difference between okay and good comfort laying down. I'm 5'10" tall.
My OCD was activated at 6:02 when he scratched at the unknown dried residue on the seat in front of him. Ewwwwwwwwww! I don't want to imagine what that was!! LOL Great video anyways! New subbie. I will be traveling more for work and this is great info.

kevin0870 I work for VS and you do actually get a full hot meal about 2.5 hours before landing on this flight in addition to what was shown... they just didn’t include this on the video for some reason... :)
Jetblue now does nonstop flights from BOS to LHR and it's a massive step up from the competition. Way more modern interior, complimentary WIFI, the food is miles above any other economy airline. And often the cheapest ticket prices.

I’ve flown all these airlines transatlantic apart from Norwegian. Virgin and BA are similar and both offer a really good experience. AA and United are similar in the way that both their cabin crews are of a disappointing standard.
Well yeah. You’re comparing two British companies to two American ones. Obviously the former will be a cut above when it comes to experience and service.
Also if you’re From that nationality your more likely to get a better experience on an airline from your home country but since almost every single airline (not including Norwegian) used English as their main Language I think to get a good experience on either one
I notice you guys always fly super early in the AM. Might be interesting to see the check in queues at busier flying times. Maybe weekends or evenings?
FYI United 767 call button is found on your entertainment screen. Took me several hours to figure that out as the control for the light is in the same place.
One trick I learned flying American domestically. If you don't want to pay extra for luggage fees, you MIGHT be able to bypass them. First, make absolutely 101% sure you are within the size limits. If not, this will not work. I had a stuffed backpack and an AA-approved carry on. I didn't want to pay the check in fee so I had it declared as a carry on. I checked the seat status and found the flight was 100% booked, not even one empty seat. After waiting at the gate for the agent to arrive, I walked up and nicely asked if it was possible to check in the bag in case it would be very difficult to fit it in the overhead compartment. They put a scan sticker on it and wheeled it onto the plane. (Make sure you get the OTHER half of the scan sticker!) Arrived at destination and was told to go directly to the baggage claim. Picked it up and saved my back. It worked on the return trip too!
Yes! I'm from Vancouver! AC (not rouge!) isn't too bad. I've never flown out of North America, but I have no complaints. Westjet is good too, but I haven't flown them in a while. I think Transat goes to London too
It’s a miracle that American Airlines flight didn’t get delayed like 5 hours. Most of the times it’s because the crew arrives late

Great vid! Even your older videos are amazing, you need to do this again in business or first and add delta, all of the airlines That take you to Heathrow have very good first class (but American if iffy) so you should definitely try that!
Adrian Perez yes, but “first class” as in a class above business, is only available on AA and BA. So doing a comparison video between the two of them would be quite pointless. A biz class comparison would be nice though, but I imagine BA would go to the very bottom.
To Americans: “first class” must mean that that it is a class above business. As of 2021 there are only 6 out of 31 airlines that fly transatlantic that have an actual first class, being Air France, American, British Airways, Lufthansa, Swiss and Singapore Airlines. Hi guys. Entertaining content even for those who don't reside in the UK. It would have been great to do a comparison like the middle eastern economy class video. Keep up the good work
I love Norwegian. I fly London to Boston with them about 5 times a year. I always read horror stories but I’ve had nothing but great experiences with them. Between us, me and my boyfriend have flown with them long haul 30+ time’s in the past 3 years. No cancellations and only one delay of 3 hours but I was updated via text message all the time and offered food vouchers for the plane. Their prices have unfortunately increased over the past few years but they still beat all the other airlines for what you get for your money.
Your comparison videos never disappoint. Would have liked to see a final “conclusion” and evaluation all reunited again.
Yes, I was expecting a recommendation.
Norwegian stinks
I agree. The question in the video title is a hotly contested one. You can’t call this a fight without having a winner
I thought the whole thing was ridiculous. Not really any results or information.

I live here in London but I’m Ecuadorian but I like flight.
My English no is very good but I’m learning whit their videos
I’d love to see a review of you guys from KLM or Delta🤩
This is SUCH a good video! When I fly to the States I prefer flying Virgin but lately I've been flying United. Cheaper, not as nice but still really good I'd say. Norwegian have been good too!
Glad I watched this. I will be flying Norwegian this summer to Paris. Looking forward to it.
I was literally waiting for this🤣😂👇😅
Thx!
Like if you were waiting for this
Love this keep making amazing videos like this as always 😁😊
Here is the moral of the story never fly United
No, united is good lol
Bro army General never fly Americans. Always a delay
@easternaviation1547 yes thank you!
