Having an entire row to yourself on an international flight is a game changer in economy. Bonus points if it’s over five hours long or you’re traveling between continents.
Great concept!! I think the Economy guy got lucky cuz he had a row to himself and got to lay down. This is unusual. He would have felt a lot worse having to stay sitting the whole night. Also, how tall was that Captain?!!! I enjoyed this a lot. Thanks.
I saw this comment elsewhere and thought I'd explain - in many places (especially here in the American South), a Caesar salad really only guarantees you a plate of romaine lettuce, croutons, and perhaps some cheese and/or some lemon juice on top. It really can be that plain depending on where you are. What about the caesar dressing? It may not even come with the salad! Unless you ask for another dressing option, the salad can be quite dry just on its own. A better restaurant may serve the "Caesar dressing" on top, but even if it has this dressing, the salad can taste good with other dressing combinations too (e.g. Ranch dressing is quite popular here to put on top of caesar salads).
that is just total bullshit , it is all about situations .. If the plane goes nosediving from full altitude to the ground not one single person will survive
I can fly first class for free whenever I want and I am only 11 years old it is so fun I could fly first and buisness class since I was 6 and economy since I was born
My dads work pays for business class and it’s almost like first (from what I can tell on this vid, although different airlines offer different experiences)

@@alexrood2115 if you fly frequently and are committed to one airline, you can probably get upgraded to business every 15-20 flights or get offered business class for really cheap. One time I got offered business class for just an additional 500$ when the msrp for a business class seat on that flight would be an additional 2000$.
First class gets lonely. Been in it once but usually in club (mum works for BA), both extremely nice and first class is obviously better but imo club is best value for money on a flight over 6h.
@@azestical6566 I've flown exclusively on Basic Economy. The seats are cheap and there's no real downside other than limited carry-on space. Generally these are for shorter flights, so limited carry-on isn't bad. I used it for Boston to Cleveland and back. It's not bad at all.
Get sufficient status, silver at least. Wait for an upgrade offer from premium, or find a flight where they're obviously over subscribed in premium and economy and then do a points upgrade. @@patrickgunn8351 Yeah, Southwest probably is the best. And if you ever think about flying United Airlines--DON'T! Especially if you are trying to fly Economy or Basic Economy. They have the worst service I have ever seen with an airline. Even first class has cramped seats! (I just flew eight hours to Alaska with United, and the prices for Basic Economy ended up being higher than Economy+ because of all the supplies we had to buy to fit baggage requirements! Then I flew back with Delta, which actually allowed us to have a carry-on bag with Basic Economy, not just a personal item. There was more leg room too. Unfortunately, Southwest doesn't fly to Alaska, so we couldn't use that. And Alaska airlines were all booked up for the days we needed :/ Just a heads up if you ever want to fly up there!)
i've only watched this video about 10 times! Dan's seat in Busness actually looked like it had more privacy then Nicky's seat in First. Love your video's guys and subscribed! When you get back to traveling can you maybe do one where you are showing both the flight review and the hotel review at your destination in linked videos? What's the song at 6:35?
First is soooo much nicer than club, much more space, quieter cabin, eat when you want, pjs. I’m not talking about ticket price at all, just the travel experience.
Unknown User sure, you could save a lot of money if you walk instead. Or maybe it isn’t necessary to travel at all. But if you do have to go and first is an option I would chose it.
Unknown User I agree that if you are a budget traveller then the premium cabins are not worth it for you. But business travellers are offered cabins that they can rest, sleep, or work in so that when they arrive at their destinations they are ready to get to work.
Nope.. he is lucky! A whole row to himself? I was in a smaller then usual economy seat while going back from Hong Kong and it’s not actually bad! The crew are kind (usually) and helpful. If you get the back seat in economy you also get a large curtain. But just remember something. You are getting to a destine or getting back from a trip. Just appreciate the excitement of getting back or arriving somewhere new!
That was a great idea, and hope you try this concept with other airlines too. A little logo or letter in the corner would be useful as it was sometimes difficult to differentiate between the cabins, especially with close-up shots. Great video guys. I'm guessing you had BA permission to film that?
What I dom't understand is why on reaching ther destination, all of them reverted to acting like 12 year olds.Riding sutcases etc, I'll bet that pilot told his bosses, no more youtubers in my first class ever again

So basically eco and eco+ have the same seats but eco+ has snacks. Business and first have the same seats also but business has diy bed and first gets champagne
Rania Makni premium economy has a much comfier/bigger seat than economy, and a better selection of food, similar to business class dishes but less choices. For the price difference it’s definitely worth the upgrade. Business class on BA, not so much.
The trick is to use the aisles as reference points. By regulation, they go from the front to back unobstructed. From back to front, in economy there are three seats between the fuselage and the aisle and your knees are basically touching the seat in front of you. In premium economy there are two between fuselage and aisle and there is more room between rows. In club business there are still two, but they're at an angle and there is enough room between rows to fully reclined so that your feet are adjacent to your neighbor's shoulders when fully reclined, like sharing a twin bed. In first, you're the only person between the fuselage and the aisle; you have the twin bed to yourself. Cheers!

I have just one problem. They are making such an effort with the security to prevent that someone brings something sharp in the plane and they gave the First Class Guy a rasor!!
I really don't mind economy. You just have to prepare well: Bring a mini-pillow, slip-on shoes, blanket, and some gourmet snacks to supplement your dinner.
RoyMcAvoy it’s sometimes good to have 2 pillows and since when does economy provide with slip on shoes or slippers? The snacks seem over board cause they serve food in economy
Kudos to the economy lad for being the least wine, or booze affected. One benefit of economy and premium, is that you arrive with not much of a hangover. Wine tasting in First Class?? and did you notice the size of that glass of Shiraz in Business??
You have not flown Emirates then. They are pretty generous with the booze in Economy. On many flights they basically place the booze trolley and tell people to grab what they want. I once asked for a whisky to mix with my coke, and the dude gave me 5. lol
@@NerdX151 I did fly Emirates economy a couple of times. One of those times I was able to upgrade to business when checking-in online for about $400 for a 9 hour flight. Now, that was a nice experience - Bar in the sky and the works. The most booze I remember served in Economy was on United in the '90s on those long trans-pacific flights. I used to ask for a red wine and they would always give two, no matter how many times you asked during the flight.

This is the case in many airlines nowadays. There is really no difference in food between Premium Economy and Business or First Class. So if you want to save some money and don't really care about the first class lounge or someone making your bed, Premium Economy is the way to go.
@@johniii8147 I see. That just makes the premium economy the best choice even more especially if the premium economy seats also allow you to lie down. Honestly lying too flat on the plane doesn't really allow you to sleep well either.

I think Club looks waaaay cooler than First, the little closed off cabinets instead of the open seats with your back turned towards the room. And you also get ordered food and everything. And why would I want them to make me my bed? Cool video!
Nah club feels pretty cramped and can be quite noisy, first is always really quiet and feels like there is a lot of space

To be honest, I call BA’s business class “coffin class” because that’s what it feels like. Also, Having flown Qatar Qsuite, Qsuite is so much more comfortable!
@Marwin Club sucks especially on long haul flights. During takeoff, you stare at a random stranger because your seat is rear facing. The seat is also pretty small compared to other Business class seats

What would the person that got business class have got?
john davies prem economy
First should’ve got Econ, Econ gets first, premium gets business, business to premium
That’s what I was thinking. Haha.
Thanks.
It's only a 7 hour flight so it's not too bad anyways
So no difference in flight speed? You'd think first class would at least be a LITTLE faster than economy considering the drastic price difference.

"I'll have a fresh caesar salad."
"What dressing?"
YOU WOULD THINK IT'D BE CAESAR DRESSING NOT HONEY MUSTARD
Michael I also live in the American south and have never seen a Caesar salad without Caesar Dressing

Wow, I remember last summer I went on British Airways to go from London to Mumbai. We originally were going on Premium Economy, but the guy told us that my whole family was upgraded to BUSINESS CLASS. I’m the youngest kid who is typing and my dad was only been on Business. My mom, older brother, and I were so happy and excited. I’ll never forget when I went on Business.
Economy for U.S. airlines is 10 times shittier than this.
The Everything Productions Agreed, our economy SUCKS I’ve flown southwest and that’s the best it can get ( I think )
And Alaska airlines were all booked up for the days we needed :/ Just a heads up if you ever want to fly up there!)

they didnt show, but you get more leg room. also, life hack, try to get the seats at the front of the compartment, loadsssss of leg room
Cheers!

I really don't mind economy. You just have to prepare well: Bring a mini-pillow, slip-on shoes, blanket, and some gourmet snacks to supplement your dinner.
That's redundant. Apart from the snacks, everything else is provided even in economy
Big Valley hah! Depends on the airline I guess... I’ve always found BA and Virgin to be very boozy in all cabins!
Premium economy and first class got the same dish!
Different variants of the same dish.
Just presented differently but yeah essentially the same meal. Not uncommon
This is the case in many airlines nowadays. There is really no difference in food between Premium Economy and Business or First Class. So if you want to save some money and don't really care about the first class lounge or someone making your bed, Premium Economy is the way to go.
