I made this for Thanksgiving and I loved it . But I put crispy small pieces of bacon. So I didn't like the bacon so I will omit it by next time. It was tough. It was small. I will put some bacon Grease in it maybe to grease the dish and a little extra. I think the crispy onions and Ritz was a little too much. Or maybe I put to much.😂 😅. But over all it was great. I'm still enjoying this recipe.thank you.

The first thing, before you empty your canned beans into the baking dish, is drain them in a sieve! That way you could see the stems that are sometimes still attached to the beans, and remove them. That way you don't have the embarrassment of your guests pulling bean stems out of their mouths! When you empty that second can on the viewer's left side of the baking dish, there is an obvious stem and it drives me bonkers that you overlook it! I watched the video again, several days later and I saw the stem again!
