@@deinashipley7968I beg to differ...If she didn't cook/bake it, the taquitos would still be frozen & the veggies would be cold! I don't think I like your method!!

What do you do with the rest of it after you take the bite for the camera. Seeing how you look to be around 90lbs , you can't possibly eat all the food you make. I gained 5lbs just watching this freaking video.
Making it from scratch wouldn't take too long and would taste a thousand times better, plus be much healthier(not in calories but in sodium and preservative content). Preparing the meat for the rolled tacos(taquitos) would consume the most time.
That's not the point of this recipe in particular. The point is to show that it's possible to make it fast, cheap and easy, especially for people in a hurry or not very good in the kitchen. Obviously, from scratch it's a lot better. You spend more money and have 6 hours to isolate yourself from the world
@dekalbgal1629 making this from healthier ingredients would not take 6 hours. Probably closer to 2 1/2. Beans and pico can be made the day before, so can taquitos. Rice about 20 minutes. Using real cheese takes a few minutes to grate, is cheaper ounce for ounce and contains almost no chemicals.
You literally used the worst brand of store bought taquitos! Jose Ole are DISGUSTING! The filling is basically a mushy paste and the outer shell is always stale. 🤮🤮 Oh and why not pour all the ingredients in first then mix it all @ once!? I mean WTF? 🤣
American slop. Checked it it for the taquitos, which make a quick breakfast before you run off to work. People that like this type of crap food also can’t cook and somehow enjoy mediocre restaurants. This sis about half the country. Nobody really wants to eat that crap, but if someone else made it, and it’s ready, how can most folks say no? I say no.
Great looking casserole. Absolutely love taquitos but never thought to use in a casserole. Don't know why because I use burritos all the time. Duh 🤔. Thanks for the inspiration. ❤
Daughter and wife made this last night and it was phenomenal and very easy to make. Eating it for lunch today and have enough to take to work this week. We all love it. Already planning on some more of Justine’s other recipes too.
You had me up until you added crappy, processed taquitos. Those could have stayed on the side. Substitute that for any other protein. If you must keep it "simple" you can buy precooked chicken or beef. Anything but them nasty excuses for food they call taquitos.
I just made this for Christmas Eve brunch for my son and his girlfriend. They both said it was delicious and asked me to make it again in the future. Thanks, Justine! I’m also going to try your chocolate chip cherry pie tomorrow!
The amount of sodium in all that processed food is off the charts..that could all be made with out that taco seasoning and you can easily make your own taquitos...Im sorry not for us.
I like to put refried beans with lettuce and all the taco salad toppings on my tequitos, it's Delicious! This is another great way to turn them into a full meal, can't wait to try this one!
I find it sad that people think this real cooking. It is not. This simply dumping a bunch of precooked things together and throwing it in the oven. Truly sad.

Looks yummy.. that cheese melted PERFECTLY… that’s where I would stop and just add the sour cream but my hubby would like the last two ingredients you added too. Gotta make this. 😊
Are the toquitos any good? Ok bought beef burrito to put with a recipe that Kristen made and they didn't have anything in them and turned out soggy.??? I hate to waste time and money and not enjoy what I've made.
It looks INCREDIBLE!!!! Wish I could eat stuff like that, but it TEARS MY STOMACH UP!!!! Thanks Justine, you're ALWAYS ON TOP OF IT!!!!
Just imagine how good that would be with fresh ingredients
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@berlindafreeman2229Yeh, I've noticed that precut veggies can lose some of their flavor., but I like the hack!
Yum, I definitely need to make this. I'm sharing on my FB.
Looks good!!!!! Got hungry just watching the video! Thanks for your recipe with everyone! Have a blessed day!🌞
Another Wonderful Dinner by "Our Favorite Cook, Justine"! 😋
She is not a COOK she is like chain restaurants they just put everything together.
@@deinashipley7968I beg to differ...If she didn't cook/bake it, the taquitos would still be frozen & the veggies would be cold! I don't think I like your method!!
I'm sorry but the constant stirring was cracking me up lol....gurl just dump your ingredients & stir once 😂 it does look good though
😂😂😂😂😂 Right

Meeow, lol!!!
@@teddbear7075 No it makes the video longer when she doesn't that way
Yep! Definitely making this one! Saving it! Thanks Justine! 😃🇺🇸
This too looks great. She too loves those Taqitos. Now new way to fix and whole meal. Thanks
I just made this and your right. This is so good. Thanks for sharing 👍
Pinto beans would be my only change and maybe more enchilada sauce on the taquitos. Thanks
Mix mix, mix lol
Everybody’s so creative…
Definitely a Mexican rice instead. Nice idea.
That does look really good
A lot of carbs for those such as a diabetic….corn, rice and beans not to mention the taquitos
Looks very appetizing ❤
Very Nice thanks for sharing I can't wait to try!! 😋😋
Are the taquitos frozen or thawed?
Why not just throw all the ingredients in at one time and stir it?
My thoughts exactly lol
I would try this❤❤
Oh yeah quick and easy
Everything comes out of the bag, nothing is fresh,4 me absolutley a no go food!!!
Betty Crocker is crying, where ever she is.
Post feminism cooking is like the world after the zombie apocalypse. People vaguely remember a time that was better, but know its gone forever.
Lol try using fresh ingredients!
Lazy dish
Why not scrape out all the beans??...otherwise, great!!!❤❤
This is not food.
Unhealthy, over processed, GMO, high sodium…hard pass. I’ll hold out for actual food.
Looks great! I would make my own taqitos though, with a Costco rotisserie chicken 👍
Why not roast your own chicken lol
@@joeharris7611it is sometimes cheaper to get Sams or Costco chicken
@@joeharris7611if you're going to roast your own chicken, be sure to raise it yourself.
I bet that it would be great just with the chicken itself added to the mixture in the pan. Saves some calories :)

God Bless 💗🙌
Ms. Justine this is going in my recipe rotation. Thank you darling ❤
Looks fabulous. I will just put the sour cream on the side especially when reheating leftovers. Great job ❤
Lawrys taco seasoning is way better then old el paso!
Tillamook cheese, good choice!
I can't wait to try this!
That looks absolutely delicious.
I would definitely enjoy this for dinner.
OMG I'm moving in , Lol I really appreciate how clean and organized you are your videos , thanks you God Bless
Driving me nuts that she only used 11 Taquitos from a 15-count box when there was just enough room to lay the rest vertically along the sides.
Get your own app. Stay off here and stop complaining. It's her video. She's doing perfectly fine.
I agree, put the rest in the dish...common sense. I hope they didn't wind up in the garbagio.
Empty the cans/packages in a mixing bowl and stir it up once. Why add and stir each item individually in the baking dish?
And dump the beans and corn in a colander.
I agree. Not to health
What do you do with the rest of it after you take the bite for the camera. Seeing how you look to be around 90lbs , you can't possibly eat all the food you make. I gained 5lbs just watching this freaking video.
Good question.
I have a neighbor who is less fortunate, I share food with her all the time.
You need you need to add black olives that would make your dish complete
I'd use the taco seasoning or the enchilada sauce, not both. This dish and a good salad sounds good to me 😊
YUM!!!! I’m always wondering what to do with those taquitos! This is the perfect weeknight (or pot luck) meal!
I would save some enchilada sauce for the top of the taquitos?!
You have some good meal ideas, but have you ever thought about doing an occasional healthy meal instead of fat and sodium laden dinners and desserts?
I'm wondering if you have any idea what the sodium content per serving would be?
Same! It looks so good, but I'm sure I would need to make adjustments.
Yes
Looks delicious! However, I’m most impressed that you cooked wearing a WHITE shirt and NO stains!! 😂
Problem with cilantro for some people is that they perceive a soap sud taste. Looks delicious.
Why do people think that if they throw a pack of taco seasoning on a pile of processed food items, it's Mexican? This is just a soggy mess in a pan.
I agree with you but it looks delicious no matter if it's ethnic or not. I'd use the taco seasoning or the enchilada sauce, not both

Processed food, additives, sodium. Is it so hard to cook from scratch? This is trash food.
Perfect for when my hubby is watching football on sunday. easy peezy
I like how you get to
The point on your recipes! And I think I could replace the rice with some quinoa
I'm going to try this with some avacado dip on and a little red sauce on the taquitos too, thanks for the recipe.
Looks a little dry to me. I'd add salsa on top of the taquittos, then cheese to give it some moisture.

Pinto beans instead of black beans. Enchilada saucein top before the cheese.
$45 later! We eat!
