Replacing the Front Seats in a 2011 Lexus IS 250 & Fixing our Passenger Air Bag Warning Light

This 2011 Lexus IS 250's passenger air bag warning light came on, and the dealer said it meant that seat needed replaced. Instead of buying just the passenger seat, we bought both front seats from LKQ for a fraction of the price, and fixed the warning light!

Very good video. It was very helpful. What did you do with your old seats? I am in similar position with a 2015 ES350 passenger seat. I found a replacement, I'm just on the fence about keeping the old seat for parts, selling it on eBay, or just junking it. Thanks in advance for any input!

Would it be better to just reupholster the seats? Just wondering if it’s cheaper. I have the same car and it has seats that are wearing out.
If not where did you buy the seats from? And what would be a fair price for someone to install them since I don’t think I could do it lol
