Hey Matt, that 'Waukee sounds killer with the Stage IV installed! My son has a 2015 Street Glide with a Stage IV he installed soon after getting her home, & she has been a screaming machine ever since!!
Matt Laidlaw thank you so very much for making this videos answered so many of my questions and concerns I have a 2014 and considering upgrading but when the Milwaukee hates came out I was told don't even bother because the milwaukee-eight sore so much better however I've been looking at the tire shredder kit for my but wasn't really sure if it was worth the investment after watching your video I believe it is thanks once again
I'm 52 started riding when I was 13 in Florida learned on a 1971 flh Harley. Now I live in Ohio. Have had Harley's, Kawasaki's, Honda's, Yamahas triumphs. People always downing different bikes, listen every bike is fun to ride I Don't care if it's a moped, two wheels is fun I love speed, love cruising so don't down another man's or woman's bike it's what you like in the wind two wheels forever, enjoy it while you can peace and adventure.
Best UA-cam roll-on demo of two hard hitting V-twins I've ever seen. At 74 years old I've done this sort of thing since the late 1950's and I take my hat off to you guys. Road looked a little crowded to be turning up the wick on those things but hey, you got to remember I was doing this sort of thing back when there wasn't much traffic anywhere ! Wish I could have been able to read your tachs while you ran them thru the gears. Once again, great demonstration of two strong motors. Makes me wish I was young again!
Great video Matt. I work overseas for 90 days and home for 30. I ride a SGS M8 S4. Nice to see a video of bikers just riding and listening to the sounds of the bikes. Keep it up.
I got a 2011 screaming eagle CVO ultra limited which had the cam upgrade full exhaust upgrade air cleaner upgrade with no big deal but she's cranking out just shy of 100 horses and just shy of 110 ft lb of torque and that thing is a monster I love it
You can't beat Laidlaws sales and service... i've been dealing with them since the early 90s and never had a problem! everything they promise they always deliver on!
By the way Matt...the new transmission SERIOUSLY BLOWS the TC trans away! Smooth shifting and NO clunking changing gears....WAY better design and I LOVE the hydraulic clutch. If you ask me you shouldn't even thing of comparing the new scoot with the old ones.....Harley FINALLY got it right all the way around....thanks again! My new Street Glide makes me have bug stains! I can live with that!
Yea, speed isn’t everything (although it’s high on the list). There are a lot of factors to consider. Starter is better, runs cooler, better fly wheels and crank, breaths better, better suited for performance upgrades, better charging system. Etc etc. the M8 is just better all around engine.
I have watched this video about 10 times already. Then I thought Wow! Matt and crew just took the world on a wicked fun tricked out Harley ride into the setting sun in California ! HOW COOL IS THAT?????
Im really feeling the M8and what it comes with...but now Im thinking that same thing about the 110cc. Gonna have to go back to the drawing board now...🤔
The m8 doesnt really have much more power, harley says the 107 has 10% more torque than the 103, id hope so with a higher ci engine, the 114 has 8% more torque than the 110, they put out what an additional 5-8hp compared to the old engine, the 4 valves are really just smoothening the bike out, with a lil extra power added. Im not surprised the twin cam held its own at all, we also dont know how much the two riders weigh in comparison to each other, it makes a world of difference.
10% more torque? Are you Sure? If so then 10% more torque must be a big deal from 0-60. Because I raced my brothers 103 vs my 107 and I burned him hard. And he's been riding way longer than me.... so I think the 107 is alot more powerful than the 103. The torque is nice.
Thanks Matt, great video. This video is helping me decide on the Stage III M8 kit where the power comes on sooner in the rpm range. Like you state in the video, the stage IV kit shines in the upper rpm range.
Great Video. I own a 2016 CVO StreetGlide with the Twin Cooled 110 Twin Cam that is upgraded with a Stage 1. It's dyno'd at 96 horsepower, and 110 lbs of torque at the rear wheel. I will be bumping it up with the 117 kit soon. Should produce great results! 👍😎
Theres a 2016 cvo streetglide for sale near me and im really thinking about getting it. Its being sold for 24k dollars though and a brand new street glide special is 30k so idk if its worth it to just buy the brand new bike.
I see this video is 5 years old but I just had to say Thanks!!! I've been waiting for 5 weeks for parts for my Screaming Eagle stage 4 110ci kit... Got a call the other day all the parts but the cylinders are in... so maybe another 10 days? Can't wait to get back out on the roads, this is the longest time not riding in over 3 years...
Matt, my 16 SGS is currently at the dealer, having a Tire Shredder kit installed. I'm currently in Afghanistan, and set to come home in about 10 days. I cannot wait. Watching this video makes me even more excited to get my bike back. I'm throwing some color matched AdvanBlack extended bags and a Cobra 2-1 pipe on it too. Awesome vid, sir. Looked like an absolute blast. As Blockhead would say..."This one time in Mexico..." LOLOL Shiny side up!
Matt: Thank you for the great videos and insights not to mention responding to all the questions. You don't have to but you do. For those that disagree or have other opinions share them as they are valuable as well. Just do so with respect and some class it you want to be taken seriously. there is a bike, upgrade and good and bad experiences. If you can't go to the another site and waste your time there.
I am about 3.5 yrs late watching this video but, dam that twin cam was either side by side or pulling from the M8. Didn't expect to see that. Great video.
Next time you should do the old trick where one rider does three hits on the horn to determine the "start" for the roll on races - that way your both on it at the right time. I would probably give this "win" slightly to the old bike.
Fast lane here in Indianapolis does all my tuning my 110 twin cam makes 138 horse at the tire and 149 foot pounds of torque Factory bore 12 to 1,585 gear drives 58 mm throttle body, fully ported heads by Stewart racing here in Indy. Been to Sturgis twice not on trailer!!!! And runs high 10's in quarter!!! Call it the busa killer!!!!
Nice work as usual. Thank you for putting out videos with the things people really want and need to know about these bikes good or bad as you see it, and not just trying to sell paint, chrome and bullshit. As much as I'd like to have seen bikes on a dyno initially, but also understanding the cost and time it would take... the factory performance specs in your usual format with some seat of the pants dyno, same solid commentary and more aggressive riding noise make the video informative, helpful towards making a purchase, and even more enjoyable. Kill confirmed on the twin cam. Lol. That M8 sounds SO good through those mufflers. If Harley Davidson hadn't began to update anything in the last few years I'd STILL be openly trashing them for mushy suspension and coat hanger frames wrapped in plastic that stink of poor tuning and leak oil.
If you look at the power graphs there is a huge increase even under the curve, you're getting more power everywhere with these kits. 2600 to get the power output these bikes should be putting out from the factory. Also damn that M8 sounds good.
Real nice ride, love paint too! If mine wasn't 100 anniv I'd do paint job like this, but I want to keep this bike stock paint! I found an amazing horsepower in a bottle way back in 1989, I taught math, so I've been researching bike performance numbers, very interesting subject!
Thanks for making such informative and interesting tubes. I love my 115th FLHTK-ANV, but at the same time don’t think these bikes are made to race. Although my original Milwaukee 8 gives me enough power to ride around 110 mph on hwy easily, it’s HP is nothing compared to such racing monster bikes as ZX14, which I used to own for a few years. This is coz whatever modifications you make on your HD’s engine, its body, frame, and style is not designed to accelerate like an aerodynamic sport bike. I love my Harley coz it’s a super comfy bike and it roars like a lion. And that’s all about it
Nice video and commentary Matt! Interesting comments too....For what it's worth, I wanted to say that I appreciate ALL two wheelers. I've been riding for 40 plus years on over 23 bikes (please don't judge lol). At 16 I had purchased 3 bikes including my first Kawasaki Triple 2 stroke... wow it was a machine to be reckoned with. From there it was everything from Dual Purpose Hondas to Husqvarna motocross to Sport Touring Adventure. My first bike with a driveshaft; a brand new 1982 Suzuki GS650. For the last 2 or 3 years I've started to really slow down when riding public streets and have taken a much different approach to riding than when I was in my teens, 20's, 30's and even 40's. Hence the purchase of my first HD - an 08 Fatboy. Yes, it's true and my wife still can't believe I bought one. I'm enjoying the brand history of that nostalgic styling and relaxing cruising that it gives when we tour around the river and unpopulated country roads. However, when I was younger I hated those bikes - passed many of them "noisy things"...lol. Now I'm just about to purchase another - 09 Road King for those touring needs. The HD brand is one that I really didn't know much about and ignored. Now that I'm more aware I have a different appreciation and it has given us another aspect of motorcycling. We dated on bikes as teens and now still enjoy them, just at a much slower pace. Point I like to make is that we should all be open to the various motorcycle trends / ideas and embrace the open air in our faces; respect each others ideas of a good ride on a nice curvy road or a straight wide one...Life is short, keep the rubber side down!
I have been riding since 1974. Have owned over 40 bikes (all larger street bikes, no dirt bikes). I see one thing all the time and it makes me smile. People take a bike that is meant to do one thing and try to turn it into something that does another thing. At the age of 60, I decided I wanted to ride fast, so I bought a Kawasaki ZX12R, a CBR1000RR, a TL1000S, a K1200RS and a K1200R Sport. Of course, I have owned a few Harleys, in fact, I have a Road King CVO 103 and a Softail Heritage Springer (Evo 80 in) in my garage right now. I also have a Goldwing 1500SE in my garage right now that keeps my Triumph Thunderbird 1600 ABS company. Trying to turn a Harley into a "speed demon" is a joke. Trying to turn a ZX12R into a Tourer is laughable. Trying to turn a Goldwing 1500 into a canyon carver will get you killed. Tour on the Goldwing, cruise on the Springer and T-bird, ride two up with your wife on the Road King. Buy the bike that fits what you want it to do and if you want to change that "to do" buy another bike that fits your new "to do" way of riding. You want a "kick in the pants" at 80 mph, buy a Vmax. You want 0-60, buy a BMW K1200R Sport "They's fast Uncle Jed", as Jethro would say. I bought my ZX12R for $2800, which is the price of the parts alone on those Harleys and they still would lose to that ZX12R (Had it up to 185 mph going to Pyramid Lake outside of Sparks, NV, just past the BLM wild horses). Remember, horse people know best. They ride Clydesdales at the Triple Crown, they ride Throughbreds at the barrel racing, they ride - oh wait, maybe they do it different.... Buy the right bike from the beginning and you will be happier in life. Stop putting saddle bags on a Sportster! Sportsters are meant to carry your wallet only. If you want to tour, cruise, canyon carve or canyon carve while touring, then save your money for you are going to be 60 years old some day and look in the mirror and say, "You are a Bike Whore!" Not a bad thing to be!
Matt, that is why I buy used and I am a mechanic. I fix bikes (all kinds) and have been doing so since there were spark advance mechanisms on Harleys. That is the key to a lot of bikes. I am by no means rich. And yes, I have owned as many as 10 bikes in my garage at once (my wife started riding after 25 years on back so I had to add to the stable). Don't buy the $30,000 Harley Road King CVO 103, I bought my used on with 5,000 miles on it in 2017 for $6,000 (just like new). I will keep it for a year or two and sell it for $8000. The bike is showroom perfect. It is all in the waiting game of "Bike Whordom!" Only bought 1 new bike in my life. A 1975 Kawasaki Z900 when I came back from a tour on the Korean DMZ, I bought it in Fairfield, CA. Peace brother.
FIRST! [my life is complete, I happened to open my UA-cam app right when Matt uploaded a new video. Lol] Your videos are DA BOMB, Matt. I relied on them for purchasing both of my first two bikes. 👍🏽😎👍🏽
Glad to see this video popped up on my recommended videos. I have been debating on which stage kit to go with for my 2017 RG. I think I'll be going with the Stage IV with Smart Tune Pro!
The sound of the M8 was great and they both ran very aggressive the twin cam was very impressive thanks for the comparison, you have the best riding weather on the west coast
Low end torque...H.D is good for other than that not so much my buddy that rides with me has the stage 4 set up on his glide .. and I smoke him everytime with my Victory XC. No cams just power commander Lloyds air filter and turning wheel..no shade just Facts.
Wow!! What great riding Matt!!! Guys!! Made my heart remember !!! THIS. IS ALLREADDY A CLASSIC VIDEO! Best on you tbe so far as. i haver ever seen. I am going to share lots. I am honored too. You guys made my whole week!!!
Matt, great comparison video. Glad to see your roads in SoCal are as crappy as they are up here lol. After watching your videos rather then spend a truck load of money on a new bike a sage III or IV upgrade makes more sense for my103 Ultra and Softail.Leaving my 1200XL alone. On a sad note Dudley Perkins after 103 years has been sold. I hope you guys will be around for a long time.
Hi Matt, great video as always, my 2017 RGS in the shop just now going to 114 stage 3, dealer has flashed it using a download that removes the speed governor so I will let you know how it goes. I am in Scotland though and it’s around 28 degrees here at the moment so you might have to wait until March 😃 I’m taking this bike to Prague for the 115 Anniversary Rally and that will include some autobahn travel 😈
Wonder what all those cagers in both lanes were thinking as y'all blasted past them. The real men were feeling it, the women were soaked in awe and the snowflakes melted! Yea, you damn right that was a Harley that roared by!
Most definitely this is one of the best roll-on videos ever. I watched again about 10 times already this morning playing on my TV with surround sound. DAMN!!!! THAT EXHAUST SOUNDS AWESOME!!!! I know it's not even close to what it sounds like in person but damn. Motivated me to get off the fence and start looking at Stage kits and exhaust.
Great video as per usual Matt. I noticed these bikes appear to have some fault issues, throttling these glides appear to cause condensation in the speedo gauge. 🤔 Cheers from Australia again Matt👍
You are so right hardly anyone rides at 5k rpm. heck I hardly ever get 4k on my 20018 114 Heritage. The M8 is a superior engine. It was the next step for sure and a good one.
Harleys dont sell hp dumbass. Never has. Never will. Why? Because hp is useless. Hp is not making you go fast. Harley sells TQ. Tq wins races. Tq is what makes you move. Tq is the only thing important.
@@ChristianJHosbach they dont stupid ass. Hp is tq. To make any hp you have to make more tq. Its common sense. No engine can make hp without twisting( tq= twisting force)
I’m finding a lot of information that with the right cam, screaming eagle injectors, and a power vision tune I can turn some really decent numbers out of my stage 3 M8. Even more if I do heads port and polish but that’s another $1800.
I just recently got rid of my 18’ rgs 107. Sucked. Just picked up the 16’ CVO Prostreet Breakout 110Tc. Night and day different with twin cam. Much better stop light to stop light torque and speed
loved the sound of the m8. sounded refined and well built. the bars on that bike are just bitchin too. didnt think therewould be much of a difference between the two, keep up the great work. i learn a lot from all your videos. thanks man
Matt Laidlaw awesome!! I've got the bell icon clicked buddy, I'm all set lol. Its winter here in NYC so I have to live through u guys in warm areas. Ride safe!!
The 110 Stage IV kicked that ass! Wish I had mine back! This new M8 sucks the big one! I did the Stage IV on my 114 M8 and had nothing but problems. Sumping was a big issue. Traded for an 18 M8 and with 1K miles on it sumped too! I was going to do the Stage IV on the 117 to 117 but looking at the RPMs for HP you have to have the RPMs way up there.
Dang man. That sucks. We have had a few cases but most everyone loves their M8. I wouldn’t trade mine for anything. Power is noticeably better than the Twin cam and it does a lot better in the heat
Twin cans rev faster, I’d go with the m8 if I was pulling a trailer. I got a 100hp by just putting cams and a 2into1 exhaust on my 103. I’m still a twin cam fan. Love your vids.
Maybe they realized the engine had to change to go forward. One piston prevents the other piston from exelerating unless they change degree like a Ducati. Not all v8 are the same in cars. some v almost look horizontal.
Hey Matt. I love your videos and can't wait for the next one. I will be 15 at the end of the month and I inherited a 1987 Sportster 883 from my dad. I can tip-toe the bike just fine at 5'4, but can't reach the kickstand which is placed further forward. Does that come with height, or should I put the weight of the bike onto my right leg and bring up kick stand with my left? Any input is helpful.
Wait till you have to make a warranty claim - it's all very well and good for Harley when customers spend $10,000 on mods but when shits hit he fan they will tell you to take a hike as in my case they blamed my quiet baffles for cooking the engine and told me to get lost or pay $3000 for repair bills. They told me because i paid for stage 5 my engine is considered a race engine so i do not have warranty on my brand new 2017 Harley Breakout. I bought 5 brand new Harleys since 2013 and spent over $100,000 on bikes parts and services - you wont get my business again Harley ! Do not ever buy your Harleys at Frasers Motorcycles in Dianella Perth WA Australia.
Harley Davidson Breakout Ducati Panigale 1299 go to another Harley dealer. Harley has to prove that your muffler baffles destroyed your engine. They won’t be able to prove it. If worse comes to worse get a lawyer involved.
For the love of god man!!! Why didnt you stop after 50k???? You could buy 10 japanese cruisers that would destroy any stage 5 harley stock. And if u look at the right ones youll get everything a harley has and more, same sounding exhaust, single pin crank isnt just a harley thing, metal fenders also not just a harley thing, and quite a few of them are made here in the USA.
@@stevek8829 your comment literally means nothing and makes no sense...... seems more like you didnt read, cuz iv never hyped american made in my life dick.
Thank you so much for this video. It really helped a lot. I am currently deployed and thinking of things to do before I return. I have a 2012 Electra Glide. I do have a question maybe you can help me with. Do you have any info say with this stage IV kit a Cobra Neighbor haters vs. the SVT Boneshakers ?
Matt ...great job again...appreciate your passion and expertise. My question is that I am hearing that with the rollout with Milwaukee 8 engine on the New Softails Harley Davidson dealers are enforcing the warranty on third party exhaust systems. Meaning “Slip-Ons” are the only pipes allowed...anything else will void your warranty. I have always replaced stock HD exhaust head pipes with a complete exhaust system ....typically Rineheart or Vance & Hines with a tuner and Dyno. Could you talk about this in a future video ...... and what options we have...of slip-On’s ... impact to engine if I did replace header pipes...performance differences looking for options. What I do know is I don’t like the stock sound but I love the new 114 Heritage ride and performance. Obviously the stock exhaust does not sound as good...very tame...not sure if slip ons make any difference....Sorry to ramble on.., Thanks

Lol Harleys haven’t leaked oil in over 40 years since the AMF days.
Great vid. Especially on the explanation of where the power is. Above 4k on one and 5k on the other. That's important pending your riding style
Love that sound.
If you look at the power graphs there is a huge increase even under the curve, you're getting more power everywhere with these kits. 2600 to get the power output these bikes should be putting out from the factory. Also damn that M8 sounds good.
Like the power characteristics of the TC stage IV better.
2hotFL agreed, i have two feet of snow. I've watched this vid four times so far today, i think it's gonna be my go to ride fix for the winter.
100% agree. Not too sure I'd be riding much above 5000 - 5500 anyway. Torque is where the fun is...
Enjoyed the ride.. no loud irritating music, mindless chatter etc.. love the sounds of the big twin!
I have the stage 2 with the torque cam, rineharts & k&n snorkel & I couldn't be happier .
that's too bad, the day looked sunny and fine and yet you caught a cloud on your tachometer at 8:10 :)
I never could see Francesco !! È fatto a posta !!!
Well said. So basically make sure you can afford 10 bikes and just get one for every situation. Got it. 😜.
He works for Harley.
Lol
Just sold my ZX-12R and bought a Street Glide. Your comments are words of wisdom and have the ring of truth to them. Well said!
Cant believe how smooth the idle seemed. Im not sitting on it but ive seen stockers shake alot more that that.
FIRST!
[my life is complete, I happened to open my UA-cam app right when Matt uploaded a new video. Lol]
Your videos are DA BOMB, Matt. I relied on them for purchasing both of my first two bikes. 👍🏽😎👍🏽
Haha yes!!!!
Glad to see this video popped up on my recommended videos. I have been debating on which stage kit to go with for my 2017 RG. I think I'll be going with the Stage IV with Smart Tune Pro!
The sound of the M8 was great and they both ran very aggressive the twin cam was very impressive thanks for the comparison, you have the best riding weather on the west coast
lol! I love how the speedo is blurred during the roll on acceleration “testing.”
The gauge mists up when you get going fast for some reason.
So I found that interesting because I wanted to know about the stage IV kit for the Milwaukee 8. Thanks
What a place to ride. Glad I can get in the country side in ten minutes. These 2 bikes would be fun there.
Looks like the twin cam held its own...
Yea it did
Matt Laidlaw
I'm getting a 2018 CVO Limited.
Is it worth the extra cash to get the Stage IV, even thou it already comes with a 117???
no, its not, 117 is plenty
I thought the twin cam won
Low end torque...H.D is good for other than that not so much my buddy that rides with me has the stage 4 set up on his glide .. and I smoke him everytime with my Victory XC. No cams just power commander Lloyds air filter and turning wheel..no shade just Facts.
Wow!! What great riding Matt!!! Guys!! Made my heart remember !!! THIS. IS ALLREADDY A CLASSIC VIDEO! Best on you tbe so far as. i haver ever seen. I am going to share lots. I am honored too. You guys made my whole week!!!
Haha Awesome man. Thanks for watching
Bike sounds great you can hear the difference don't need to go at high speeds to appreciate the power great video mad thank you take care
John Porter why did you go stage 3 instead of 4?
NINJA DAVIDSON to retain Harley torque characteristics and not push all the power to high revs
Ahh. I see. I'm waiting for my new rgs with stage 4. Just wondered.
Yes the low end torque is wonderful. That is real power.
That M8 sounds BAD ASS! Love it!
Love the sound. Both are solid bikes.
Wonder what all those cagers in both lanes were thinking as y'all blasted past them. The real men were feeling it, the women were soaked in awe and the snowflakes melted! Yea, you damn right that was a Harley that roared by!
Haha. 👍🏻 I love it.
Jaquenth LaMonte that read like poetry, nice one !!! 😎
hardly moving motorcycle co
troll
Great video as per usual Matt. I noticed these bikes appear to have some fault issues, throttling these glides appear to cause condensation in the speedo gauge. 🤔
Cheers from Australia again Matt👍
Yea, it’s weird. The condensation seems to get thicker at higher speeds. Definitely a warranty item we’ll need to take care of.
;)

Awesome video wish you guys would have did a test from the dig . To see how hard both bikes can pull from a dead stand still !
Thank you for making this video. Because of this Ill probably get the tire shredder kit on mine. Kudos for blurring out the speedometers. Smart.
Thanks man. Glad you enjoyed it.
Looks like the M8 is getting smoked by the TC ?
Sure looked like it to me. The old Twin Cam smoked it....
You are so right hardly anyone rides at 5k rpm. heck I hardly ever get 4k on my 20018 114 Heritage. The M8 is a superior engine. It was the next step for sure and a good one.
Hey Matt? Don't worry about me. I'm good! Thanks!!
great video brother. best reviews on bikes, parts, and performance. I'm coming to grab my street glide special later this summer.
Looks so damn fun. Wish Georgia had that kind of riding weather all the time like CA
Hi Matt, really great sound and good looking handlebars too. Thanks for the video. Great job. Greets Alex.
Excellent, highly informative highway rippin´vid there bud´. Looked like much fun!
Keep em´coming sir!
Nice. Dropping the hammer! Aftermarket cam with the stage 4 will smarten that up real good.
Awesome, well done Matt, big thumbs up to another great video, thanks man 👍👍👍
Hey Matt, this is one of my favorite videos of yours. Quick question - how well do these kits hold up over time?
Now thats how you do a video comparison
Sounds great, 11:40 is my favorite part!
🙌🏻🙂
2 heavy beasts battling it out awesome video that twin cam tho nice
$4,000+ EXTRA to make a $25,000+ bike with an 1800+cc motor make 100hp? I like Harleys but that's ridiculous IMO
Exactly. I have a 2019 electra glide. Need i say more.
Harleys dont sell hp dumbass. Never has. Never will. Why? Because hp is useless. Hp is not making you go fast. Harley sells TQ. Tq wins races. Tq is what makes you move. Tq is the only thing important.
@@jameswise170 that just isn't how it works. I wont waste time explaining why, but it just isn't.
@@ChristianJHosbach they dont stupid ass. Hp is tq. To make any hp you have to make more tq. Its common sense. No engine can make hp without twisting( tq= twisting force)
@@jameswise170 tq gets you off the line HP pulls you up top
Awesome i like that you do all this cool stuff giving us info we all like and can use man you are a awesome vloger keep up the good work
Thank you !
I’m about to do a 110
Tire shredder kit on my Street Glide.
Can’t wait!
With all that work you got on that bike I would have thought you would have walked away from him
I am happy with my 2015 CVO Street Glide 110 screaming eagle 102hp and 111 ft pound torque. I have no problems getting out of traffic.
I’m finding a lot of information that with the right cam, screaming eagle injectors, and a power vision tune I can turn some really decent numbers out of my stage 3 M8. Even more if I do heads port and polish but that’s another $1800.
Looks like That 110 out works the 114. Definitely doesn't hurt my feelings for getting a twin cam over an m8, Minuse a couple features lol
I just recently got rid of my 18’ rgs 107. Sucked. Just picked up the 16’ CVO Prostreet Breakout 110Tc. Night and day different with twin cam. Much better stop light to stop light torque and speed
Great video again Matt 😃👍
Those handle bars look great on that M8
Far out they both fly!!!
Serious power!
Al
A Zippers 110 muscle kit would have killed you both real bad 😊
Love this video being the owner of Stage 5 Tire Shredder kit.Shows me not to trade my 16 for the Milwakee 8.
The stage 5 is a fast bike. No doubt about it.
P DUB do you have a 2016 Fatboy ?
@@Ozzy2341 I have the Road glide.
loved the sound of the m8. sounded refined and well built. the bars on that bike are just bitchin too. didnt think therewould be much of a difference between the two, keep up the great work. i learn a lot from all your videos. thanks man
Thank you. Thanks for watching
Oh and loved the video...keep it up. Let's see another vid on your bike!!
Coming very soon my friend
Matt Laidlaw awesome!! I've got the bell icon clicked buddy, I'm all set lol. Its winter here in NYC so I have to live through u guys in warm areas. Ride safe!!
Thank you Matt!
Thanks for another great video. Sure it must be boring making them in that Cali weather!
Twin cam walked away 👍
Twin cans rev faster, I’d go with the m8 if I was pulling a trailer. I got a 100hp by just putting cams and a 2into1 exhaust on my 103. I’m still a twin cam fan. Love your vids.
Milwaukee 8 doesnt sound like a Harley
Maybe they realized the engine had to change to go forward. One piston prevents the other piston from exelerating unless they change degree like a Ducati. Not all v8 are the same in cars. some v almost look horizontal.
Stock exhaust
Ur wrong.
Every m8 ive ever heard sounds way better than a tc. M8 has the best sound of a harley.
What about upgrades to the CVO 117?
I must say, the 8 valve Evo Panhead intrigues me.
Lol.
Nice video Matt, I have a 2016 street glide special with the tire shredder kit and I love it
Nice man. It’s a great engine build. Tons of fun
Express Lane indeed. I like the selective blurring of the speedo. The M8 sounds awesome. What seats were on those bikes?
Both have CVO Street Glide seats
I have seen used Harleys for 3000 and 4000 . You must be rich.
@@seanbutler2291 he said Australia. Why hype US made? Oh, you didn't read.
@@stevek8829 your comment literally means nothing and makes no sense...... seems more like you didnt read, cuz iv never hyped american made in my life dick.
Very informative, your shop rocks!!!
I can't wait to cam my 10 street bob.
Obviously the stock exhaust does not sound as good...very tame...not sure if slip ons make any difference....Sorry to ramble on..,
Thanks
Test rode a 2018 Softail Heritage 114 M8. AWESOME freaking bike, took me by surprise but DAMN, the stock pipes have to go immediately upon purchase.
AWESOME video! Damn these cold Illinois winters! I want to ride!
