All this comparison talk is kind of interesting. Eloy is technically a better player. But let’s reserve our judgment until they start making music. I was saying it long time ago, when everybody was busy comparing Joey and Jay... Jay was too "sterile" for SlipKnot. Eloy has that extra juice the band needed.
One of the rare occasions where the someone plays something better than the person who created it, Jay is a great drummer but he just didn't play with the intensity and ferocity a band like them needs and it reflected in their first show with Eloy.

Eloys pace is alot smoother without a doubt. Both great but I think we all know who is proving to be a better fit.
It’ll be interesting how Eloy’s body holds up playing and touring like that
He did it for over a decade with Sepultura, dudes beefy for a reason
Dude played with Sepultura for a long time. He can keep that energy for a year like a nuclear powerplant
1:44 Clean AF
Eloy in a league of his own.
Absurda a diferença.
Eloy is awesome, although I do like a bit of tempo excitement, I think Joey had that and Eloy could afford to allow himself a bit.
Eloi is another level 🤘🏻
Jay makes it look so smooth, hence that he's a jazz drummer. Eloy plays like he fuckin hates it
I was saying it long time ago, when everybody was busy comparing Joey and Jay... Jay was too "sterile" for SlipKnot. Eloy has that extra juice the band needed.
No comparison..eloy is the ultimate killer drummer 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Loved Jay but damn ELOY fkn kills!!!!!
Para mí no hay comparación. Jay toca bien limpio y elegante.
Are Vans the best drumming shoes?
Chama!!
Eloy é bizarro
Eloy is so damn good
One of the rare occasions where the someone plays something better than the person who created it, Jay is a great drummer but he just didn't play with the intensity and ferocity a band like them needs and it reflected in their first show with Eloy.
Jay Is great and Eloy even better
eloy MUITO superior, sem comparaçao
Não dá nem pra comparação .....
Eloy: this isnt hard/fun enough for me let me add in 50 ghostnotes in every beat because i can
I’ll take Jay
Eloy casagrande 👏👏👏👏
Puuuuuta sacanagem!
clean vs aggressive
.
Jay 100%
Eloy hits his drum like it owns him money
eloy casagrande would be such a cool drummer if he was able to do fucking traditional blasts
Those 👻 notes.
Everybody wanting to be on their knees, open their mouths and wait impatient for casagrande
