Isn’t it so cool to see someone bring memories of your past back to life.. my great Aunt drove one just like it, loving this brings back memories for me too! Good guys for the job! God bless you all!
This car is a restorer's fantasy. The kind of vehicle one dreams of finding in a barn but never do. Great find guys, glad to see it ended up in the right hands! Hope you do a third episode with fitment of new exhaust 4 barrel etc.
Y'all have totally stepped up your game on the actual co-ordination of repairing these cars. No more hunting for tools or supplies. This is an excellent and massively growing channel. I think maybe you need to reach out to a few suppliers for sponsorship. All motor heads love restos. And your restores are the most GENUINE on yt. I have to admit this car looks so cool now. Excellent decision on the rims, it really makes this old girl pop. I can't wait to see further updates on this car. Nice job on this revival it thing turned out awesome!!!
The Lemans is looking AWESOME. Put a 4 barrel card and intake and some Dual Exhaust on it to help it breathe better after it was sitting for 20years. Good Luck and God Bless You All.
Don’t underestimate that 2 barrel Rochester. I’ve had many cars eat my dust while I had that same carb on my 330 olds. Enjoyed watching y’all bring it back to life
WOW! She was a real diamond in the rough. Now you can see her starting to sparkle once again. Just fantastic everyone, well done. Great video, y'all made my day again. Thank you. God Bless

LETS SEE YA!! SHOW THE OLD OWNERS THE CAR ,,, IT WILL MAKE ME CRYYYYY!!!
When I was a single parent , I had a '71 Pontiac Lemans Sport hardtop, the same color as this one. I lost it 20 years ago when I went thru rough times and couldn't pay the storage bill. I cried several times watching this recovery and restoration, but it also brought a lot of smiles to my face. She's so pretty! Thanks for sharing!!!
I might be a couple a years older than this car and it sure brings back the memories. Love this car, but still want that old hair dryer that was sat on the hood in the barn. Great job! I even approve of the new wheels, good choice. Thanks for sharing ❤️
karla shieves, it sounds like you are a hair freak, if I'm right, when you mentioned an old hair dryer you saw in the first video of this 2-part series. 💇♀️🪞💇🏻♂️
My all time favorite car! Family reasons. Never can find one around here thats worth buying but one day i will own one. Great job and i love this channel
I graduated in 1972 and I would have loved to own a car like this! It was fun seeing it brought back to life. This one is worthy of a complete restore. Great job and excellent video!
I never owned one, but I road in one, and a cop used one (even the same color, and NO, not the one I rode in) as an unmarked car around our high school. Nobody suspected it as a cop car back then.
What a beautiful car it brings a tear to My eye makes me think of my dad and the 70 lemans we had growing up thank you guys for saving this one god bless you all
Wow this is pretty impressive. I thought you would have to do alot more. I like the wheels but a part of me would also like to see it with a new set of steelies and those hubcabs.
one of my favorite resurrections , cant wait to see some more of your restorations on this " new life " , love you gentlemen are believers , so nice not to hear raw language or anything unclean , what a blessing , love you both
Can't believe how well that rig has stood the test of time and how good it looks. Those rims - the perfect choice for this old beast. One heck of a car! Your mileage could well be first time round - I worked with cars I'd known since new in the late 80s and we had vehicles through the shop that looked just as leaky with only 55-60k recorded miles; if you had a Volvo drop a rear main - that brought a whole new meaning to underside gunge.
Wow! You guys really got it going on with bringing these old forgotten vehicles back around. I’m not a big LaMans fan, but I have to say I dig this one and I don’t believe I’ve ever seen one with the opera windows on the backsides. Great job as always fellers.
Love the way these guys are so sympathetic to the old girl, seeing her as the beauty she was and can be again. Early 1970's GM intermediates were real beauties.
Now she’s beautiful! I’m so glad to see she’s got good bones to build on. The wheels really finish off the look! I’d love to see a detailing video on her! Now she is up and running. Thanks for this great update video bud!!!
Brothers, that car has a lot of potential. Please keep building and tinkering with it and most importantly, thank God for this blessing and bring us along for its Restored upgrades. Stay safe y'all and God bless.
As a fellow owner of a '72 LeMans, I am glad to see your work on this one. Those old Pontiac 350s aren't real big on the horsepower, but seem to be pretty dependable. I had a great feeling about the startup and it didn't disappoint. My first car in the '80s was a green on green 1970 LeMans with the same engine. It was a 61,000 mile "old lady" car. I eventually found a factory 4 barrel intake off of a 455 Pontiac with the factory Rochester carb. I don't know if you're aware that there is no small or big block Pontiacs. They are all dimensionally alike. Anyway, I also went with dual exhaust on it as well. Those two upgrades made it a fun driving car. Keep on keeping on with this project! I totally dig it! I have to say that top with the ports has to be aftermarket. I understand it was probably the original owner's choice, but it added an area for rust around the portholes that probably wouldn't have been there if it was smooth. Very fixable with new aftermarket sheet metal.
I grew up in Australia and this car reminds so much like the old Holden (GM) Monaro. Cannot wait until you bring this thing back to life. Man it would look fabulous in my garage. Your channel rocks!!!
What a fantastic revival. Bought a 69 Pontiac Custom S new and this revival brought back some great memories. I appreciate the family oriented, Christ centered videos and business. God Bless.
Love it! My mom had a Lemans when I was little. It was around a ‘69 or ‘70 model. A friend bought it from her and gave it to his daughter who had just gotten her drivers license. She totaled it within the first year she had it.
Having owned several of these Pontiacs from 70-72 I consider myself fairly knowledgeable When it comes to these particular leman's, and I can honestly say this is the first one I have ever seen with those round side windows. Those horrid things suck the muscle right out of that car, so cover them up guys! 😄👍
A car dear too my heart I'm the proud owner of a 1971 in brown lacquer. I bought it in 77 when I was 15 and owned it ever since. I turned it into my GTO it runs real well a shame I will be selling very soon but this video took me back 45 years .. Thanks for the great video !! God Bless !!
Wow - I have the same car and this just inspired me to go pull it out and get it back on the road. I love the color of this one! Can't wait to see more! Great job folks.
I am enjoying watching as you bring this Pontiac back to life. I grew up with a 1971 Buick Sportwagon in the same color combination, and that continues to be my all-time favorite color combination. Buick called the paint color Fern Green Metallic and the vinyl color deep emerald green.
You all are great. Please keep up the great work. I love your videos. I really really e joy watching you and your dad work together. Thank you so very very much
Beautiful! Brings back memories for me. In high school I had a 71 Lemans GT37. Same color, same engine, same interior. Crager SS Wheels. I replaced the intake and carburator, Pontiac spread bore intake with a Holley 850 double pumper. It had a 3spd manual, I replaced it with a 4spd Muncie M22. It's a shame someone put on that "Landau" vinyl top and port hole windows. Sure do miss that car. I'll be looking forward to seeing more. I'm 63 by the way, got the car at 16 years old, that was in 1975. 👍
Hardtop was a factory option but those opera windows were not, surprised your GT37 didn't have the 400 in it like most did. I had one when I was a teen as well, now 58 yo lol. ua-cam.com/video/-RGUi3cG25w/v-deo.html
My first car was a ‘72 LeMans. My dad and I got it and we replaced steering rack, 4bbl holly carb edelbrock intake, hooker long tubes, flow master 40 dumps, and modern Pontiac 400 cam grind from comp. Open rear with 2.73 gears n that car would still rip. Loved it and wish I still that car. It’s amazing to see this car again.
You guys need to do another one on this 🤪 Enjoyable episode, would love to see, Aircon, new exhaust, electronic dizzy, new bushes, etc etc. she’s a lovely looking vehicle, and the replacement wheels look Rad 😍 thank you 🙏👏
Such a great find . I would ice blast the under carriage. I have been watching you guys for a few years. Even when you were on the other channel. I admire your dedication even when thing were rough and rebuilding. Please remember the good safety practices of protection wear. Again really a great find love the wheels. May God bless you and your family
A old farmers trick I used was using Rear end diff oil on the hood hinges let them soak up make sure you have rags under it to catch the excess oil worked the hood up and down slowly to lube those hinges and springs up works great but stinky though
I've never seen portholes behind the back windows and these cars were plentiful when I was a kid. Someone had their own idea of modifying this car in their own special way.
I am absolutely speechless at how beautiful that car is. I just sold a 1968 Lemans GTO clone that needed a better paint job (last dude painted it in the winter with no heat and a ugly hot wheels style paint color) but my god I miss that thing after watching this. Love it. Keep up the good work guys!
I suddenly recognized your shop when you drive the Pontiac outside. My and my wife passed by during our Honeymoon last July (we are from Belgium) and I actually took pictures of the Le Mans sitting outside your shop. How cool !!
Dang you guys do awesome work. I love watching you and your Dad work together. I've been a big fan since you were on Hamiltonville Farms channel. I'm here and watch every video you guys put out. Thanks and keep up the good work.
I purchased a '71 Cutlass Supreme SX back in '78. Same color as your Pontiac. My dad put an HEI in it immediately as well as deleted all the smog equipment. Loved that car. When I sold it the cross member below the engine had a small crack dead center. A few years later that became an issue for the new owner.
I think you boys should and could fix up that car and give it back to that poor ole lady she looked pretty sad the day y'all took it away. God bless her. And all the people at restored as well.love the content keep up the good work.
They should keep it. If the person they bought it from could have kept it up, they would have. if they gave it back it would end up the same old way they found it in..
Man I really really love this car. This was my dad’s favorite car. This is the very first kind of car I learned to work on. I’ve always wanted to find a barn find 1972 Pontiac LeMans. I really love the little cabin windows on the back. Y’all are so lucky to find this car in the shape it’s in.
I would love to find one someday before my dad passes away and be able to drive him in it and get to see his face light up. I really like the color on this one. The only thing that I don’t like is the vinyl top bc it looks like it may have rust up under it. The little cabin windows is something I’ve never seen before on any of the LeMans. I wonder if the owner had that special ordered to be made like that?
As always from the Restored crew, an outstanding video, and I agree withthe comments the best on Utube. most chennels have 15 minutes of content and that is enough, but Restored could be 10 hours long and I would watch every minute. Love the commitment and time you all put into each video. God be with you all, I know he is.
Guys, laying under a car without eye protection and jack stands? Come on...people are watching this. You even did it while looking for a fluid leak. Really? Maybe set a better example since you are showing the world your Pontiac adventure.
Wow!!! That looks so much better. Glad to see the rest of the quilt off the windshield. The inside is just awesome. I can remember some of my friends in High School and what they were able to get. One guy got a rambler station wagon for $100. Nothing wrong with it. It ran just fine. I had to drive my mom's 1964 4-Door Dodge Dart with the push button transmission. Another car bought used with nothing wrong with it. My sister was talked into an MGB 2 seater. I don't think she liked it very much. My other sister got an Opal that had issues. LOL My father was always trading stuff from guns to vehicles. Never knew what he would come home with.
It's so awesome to see a father and son working together to rescue these cars and trucks. Whats the most impressive is you guys are Christians and I can so tell by your attitude and language. You are representing our Lord well. Such a cool show! God bless
Good show guys. Some info in case you don't know. Pontiac never offered a LeMans or any other model with port hole windows. The vinyl roof style is also non factory. The rear seat plastic is "Fingerhut" which was a clear heavy plastic people loved putting on their seats during the 60s and 70s. The drawback was it usually sunburned, turn dark brown on the top of the back seat and welding itself to the vinyl or cloth. The V8's had a weakness that i don't really think GM ever cured. The water pump timing gear housing was cast very thin between the water pump and TG. If you let the coolant get low the pump impeller would cavitate and chip pieces of casting out of the wall between the 2 cavities. If this goes on long enough water will get inside the engine and right into the oil...you know what happens then.
You guys really scored on this one, and I think I know why. Y'all are sowing and reaping right. You're living right, and the Lord is being good to you. It manifests itself in lots of ways. Remember the little rat that was living in the '59 truck? You were good to him, and that act of kindness came back to you didn't it? What you guys are up to is obviously about more than cars. You're about walking the walk, and it shows. You guys are aces! God bless.
Umm Hmm Romp On It As Some 1 Once Said ha ! Canadian Lemans In It's Glory ! Thanks Fellas, Tuned In From The Sunny Maritimes In Canada ! ATB T God Bless
I had a 72 just like that when I was a kid I love that car and matter of fact it was the same color same interior and everything as that one. They are beautiful cars that's for sure. I would love to have one again. You guys do amazing job and I really enjoy watching your bills. Keep it up....
That car is looking better then when you found her. Hey it's a small but im honored that dad likes thoes screwdrivers I sent to keep using them. But Lance making him lay on ground to pull fuel lines I don't know about that lol. Great videos guys and girl
Love that car. I used to work at a bakery with a guy who was slowly fixing up its twin. I do believe he had the same wheel for it as well. Love that it still had the pontiac engine still in there..
I still have dreams about my first car that I purchased back in 1983...it was a used pea green 1972 Pontiac Lemans...named her Pamela. She had those neat little manual cranking triangular windows on the side for directing outside air onto the driver and passengers. Those were some great days and memories, but can't relive them. I had to depart with her in 1989 due to an accident and financial difficulties. I think I was in love with her.
Wow guys my great aunt drove one of those forever! She never took the factory plastic off the back seat either, I remember because she would pick my grandmother and I up for church on Sunday mornings and the plastic would stick to my legs. That a/c would freeze you out of the car. Church was only a mile or two away but when we would go shopping after church that A/C would give the Texas heat a run for it’s money. Sweet score for sure!! Get her going and I’ll come take a ride down memory lane with y’all! Stay thirsty my friends!!
I am so excited to see my grandma’s car back up and running!!! I can’t wait to see her as you continue your good work 💕
Such heart
Isn’t it so cool to see someone bring memories of your past back to life.. my great Aunt drove one just like it, loving this brings back memories for me too! Good guys for the job! God bless you all!

Thank you for all the kind words and support
I agree, there is something genuine about this channel. The people!!

Reliable easy to work on carb. A four barrel will not help this car much without changing the cam.
WOW! She was a real diamond in the rough. Now you can see her starting to sparkle once again. Just fantastic everyone, well done. Great video, y'all made my day again. Thank you. God Bless
Can't wait to see friends. I've been watching since day one.
What a treasure of a find to be in such good shape. Those tires and rims are just awesome . Love y’all’s channel.

I think you boys should and could fix up that car and give it back to that poor ole lady she looked pretty sad the day y'all took it away. God bless her. And all the people at restored as well.love the content keep up the good work.
Lol, I bet that don’t happen. It might but I highly doubt it.
Hi brother my name is Carlos Smith from calera Alabama is God bless y'all
They should keep it.
I wonder if the owner had that special ordered to be made like that?
i had one mine was red
Mine was blue same year
Mine was red..AND a luxury lemans..with a 400 and a 400 auto.. floor shift and bucket seats..white seats! Classy.
This is probably my favourite of all the cars you have saved. It won't take much to make it a nice reliable cruiser.
It would be pretty cool to get the air conditioning working
That's an awfully cold way of putting it. Maybe you just need to chill...... 🙄🤣
That’s a really nice car, glad to see you giving it a new life. The 350 is a really great engine.
Wow! That was a find...for the right folks!
You all resurrected her just in time!
Perfect wheel and tire choice!!! I grew up in the era of this car and it's such an attractive package. Y'all hit this one out of the park!🤩🔥
OMG! Tires and rims took it from grandma’s car to grandson’s!! Then the wash. Amazing! Great job!
Love this lemans, just wish I could find one over on this this side of the Atlantic
Y’all knocked it out the park with those wheels and tires on that old girl. Looks absolutely awesome. 👌👍
Definitely an awesome barn find glad that the bard didn't fall on it and that they sold it to yall so it could be saved
God bless.
That's what makes rebuilding them more fun when you have someone you love &it's there car but there to old to fix it

That car is looking better then when you found her. Hey it's a small but im honored that dad likes thoes screwdrivers I sent to keep using them. But Lance making him lay on ground to pull fuel lines I don't know about that lol. Great videos guys and girl
Do you know if there’s one thing I enjoy about seeing fellas restore cars like this is that I can smell and taste what’s going on in the film
Can't wait to see what you'll be doing her next! Great job and video.
Nice find! She's really coming along nicely. It's like she's been waiting on yall to give her some love ❤️
Love that car. I used to work at a bakery with a guy who was slowly fixing up its twin. I do believe he had the same wheel for it as well. Love that it still had the pontiac engine still in there..
What I love about this show is these guys are like doing stuff the old school basic auto mechanic way!!
Nice work... It is good to see how solid you and your Dad are . God Bless you .
So cool Pontiac
I still have dreams about my first car that I purchased back in 1983...it was a used pea green 1972 Pontiac Lemans...named her Pamela. She had those neat little manual cranking triangular windows on the side for directing outside air onto the driver and passengers. Those were some great days and memories, but can't relive them. I had to depart with her in 1989 due to an accident and financial difficulties. I think I was in love with her.
Man what a difference a set of wheels makes! Went from looking like a granny mobile to a hot rod!
me and my wife love you guys. we both say. work your miracles. god has blessed you of being geniuses. good job of what you do best.
Looking forward to seeing more work done on this beauty!
I’m glad y’all have a follow up I got my wife hooked on y’all she’s been asking me if you updated we’re really enjoying it guys thanks so much!
Very nice old original car, y’all got a good one, there is a special place in my heart for those old pontiacs, they was some runners back in my day.
One of the best videos you have ever done. Love this channel. Keep the videos coming and god bless.
