You talking about being a process crafter was a lightbulb moment for me. In a previous video you likened it to watching a movie and having enjoyment in that moment, and not necessarily needing to keep the WIPs or frogged yarn and projects you weren’t in love with anymore. I had never thought about it that way and your analogy brought a renewed joy to my craft since I feel free to frog, donate, move on, etc. Thank you for your insight and inspiration ❤️
Is there a specific type of beads that you use to add to knitting or crocheting??
It is very freeing when we realize what it is that gives us the joy. I’m so happy that helped you. It took me a bit to realize it myself
The beads you would pick wouldn’t necessarily be different for knit/crochet. It depends on the size of your yarn/thread you are using and if you are stringing them all in the beginning or picking up a bead and placing it on the stitch as you work.
Oh Shannon, that is such a pretty liiking shawl. You do amazing work regardless of what you make.
Thank you so much! It’s really nice with the gradient. I’m liking the light to dark on this one.
It’s so beautiful! ❤ the fade this yarn creates is stunning!
I’m really happy with it. I lined up my remaining yellows in the proper order so I don’t make a mistake
Thank you, Shannon. You do find some beautiful patterns.
I AGREE!!! lost a decade somewhere. I thought it was because I am still in the same city I was raised in. Don't feel my physical looks have changed much, my capabilities on the physical side is another story. But that's mostly from the MS. But this mind is what is truly staying young, so I often forget I'm 55 years old AND a grandma....... WHAT 😮 wasn't I just celebrating my 30th birthday? 😉
Being I’ll be turning 55 this year we are in the same boat. How did we collectively lose a decade?
@@anotheryarn COVID I'm blaming COVID, lol
@@justinerobbins1081 I think you’re on to something there
That doesn’t track as I am 65 and I feel 40…maybe!
The shawl is gorgeous so far.
Thank you, I’m loving that the edging is built in. I don’t have to go back to finish it.
Beautiful yarn and gorgeous pattern. Enjoy! 🧶
Thank you! 😊 I think this has been on my list for a while too.
Good morning the shawl you are making is beatful! I agree with
I’m enjoying the gradient and looking forward to see the transition from light to dark.
That shawl is gorgeous and can't wait to see yours completed. I think it will be fantastic without the beads. I'm hoping to start a new, for me, shawl with some Puzzle yarn. Did some frogging on Friday, and a bit yesterday with some cake making. Finishing a square now. Then going to try to get back to the round throw rug for in front of my kitchen sink. Need to get that done. Hugs'n'Smooches!
Thank you, I’m enjoying how this is growing so much faster then my knit shawls. Of course I was searching other people’s playlists. Lori @armchairchef put out her video for July and I went down that rabbit hole.
@@anotheryarn I haven't checked that playlist yet.. Key word being "YET"!
@@mama-wench I wasted a ton of time last night scrolling
your shawl is going to be so pretty - have a great day - take care of you
Thank you! You too! Hopefully you’ll get some crafting in.
The shawl is going to be stunning 😍
I’m enjoying it. It is kinda neat finishing one little ball and starting the next.
That's going to be a beautiful shawl!
Thank you, the color changes are great too
Nice choice! It is going to be very pretty!
I like how it’s starting light and going dark, lots of gradual changes in between
It’s turning out beautiful! Zauberball by schoppel wolle is my favorite…. Especially the crazy sock yarn. I’ve made so many pairs with it. They’re my favorite socks both in terms of comfort and how well they wear. I found Lily Go’s profile….. wow, she sure has a ton of gorgeous patterns! I bought some crochet thread on clearance recently at hobby lobby… I couldn’t resist the colors… one of her patterns might be the answer to “ what in the heck am I going to do with this?!” Lol. I can’t wait to see your finished shawl! 😉
You will definitely find some nice patterns with Lily Go. Happy to have introduced her to you. The little balls may mean more ends but there is something exciting to finishing one and attaching the next.
@@anotheryarn I just realized my name doesn’t show on my comment. It’s me, Barb… your cousin. 😬😂
@@user-vu2rs3dz4t sometimes it shows, it’s not showing right now of course.
Lovely
I’m really happy with the pattern choice too. All links are in the description box.
Good choice! ❤
It’s a really pretty pattern
Beautiful 🤩 I have my German Zauberball in many colors. Never thought of a scar or shawl. It’s usually socks for me but now I’m thinking shawl 😊please share the link for the shawl pattern ❤
I’m sorry, I forgot to update my description. I’ve added the links to the shawls.
@@anotheryarnthank you!!! ❤
Very pretty
Thank you 🥰
Could you please share that link? I tried to find that pattern but couldn’t find it. That shawl is gorgeous!
I’ve just now added all three links to the shawls I’m was choosing from. Sorry about that.
You could always add beads later.
I was thinking the same thing if I really wanted them.
😊 hello sorry I missed yesterday my daughter-in-law is getting married
You have very important things on your mind. Thank you for being here when you are able.
