I liked the Cascade yarn so much (the pink/yellow/orange, etc.) version that I went to the shop you suggested and was all set to order a ball. However, and unfortunately, shipping it to Canada was $40!! I did find a source in Canada and the yarn was full price but the shipping was much better. The yarn is so pretty and I'm glad that I ordered it. Thanks for showing it on your channel.

In regards to the "address is not available" a lot of times it depends on the mood of the carrier. If a large truck parks near one of those centralized mailboxes areas so that they can not safely park the mail truck they will choose to not deliver. Also it depends on if it is your regular carrier or a sub, we had a sub once notify the post office that our house was "abandoned" because the gutter over our porch came loose during a rain storm the night before and they did not want to try getting around it. I was waiting for both a voter's registration card and my newest driver's license to be delivered and weeks went by with them not showing up. Called the number for the Post Master General for our area and that is when we found out our mail had been put on hold due to the "abandoned" status. It took forever to get things straightened out because I had to send proof to the DMV of our address (a current utility bill) to guarantee I lived there before they would resend my license.

Beautiful sweater!

Switching projects often helps reduce repetitive motion injuries. I like to switch between knit and crochet, large needles, small needle projects, finishing projects, sometimes all in a day. My hands dont hurt or get tired near so much. Beautiful sweater youve made. You sure get a lot done. I love that green. I was just thinking the other day about the home insulating properties of yarn. Lol. Mine is in bins by project and stacked in order of when Im planning to do them. They dont take up a lot of wall space as I am being very careful about how many projects ahead Im buying for. But I figure they reduce the air space my ac has to cool, so yay for me! I get a cooler room. Im just finishing up a sweater for my son. Knitting. I mostly knit, but some crochet. This sweater I started 2 weeks ago and Im on the end of the first sleeve and only the other sleeve to do. Might finish today. Its on size 11 needles, top down in the round, 2 strands of Caron Cloud Cakes held together, 2 different colors for body and sleeves below the division, claret and gray. It makes a beautiful marl. Above the sleeves I used 2 skeins of Gutsy Grays, made sure the stripe colors did not match up, so it made an intarsia impression look in varying stripes but not bold stripes. In one stripe the colors came together in a perfect gradient for 2 inches just before the division for the sleeves. The cloud cakes yarn is so soft, and held together makes the most squishy cushy but still lightweight cozy sweater. My friends cant stop touching it when they visit. Lol. Some projects just keep comi g to a stop, like the pattern I was trying for this sweater and yarn before. It just kept not feeling right. I worked on it for 2 months. Only got halfway. Unravelled. Realized wrong pattern for my son and for the yarn. Switched to this other pattern and almost done 2 weeks later. My sister knits socks while she walks her kids to and from school and while waiting for them during lessons and such. Shes got lots of pairs for them all. Have a wonderful day. Your sweater looks so good on you. I have always found it fascinating how someone can crochet or knit while not looking at the project. I'm over here like no don't take your eyes off it you skip a stitch 😂😂😂. Your socks look awsome. I wonder if the dragon will ever get done hmmmm ❤❤😂😂

Shannon, your socks (the Monkey socks) are beyond beautiful. I thought the green pair could not be better, until you brought out today's one - I literally gasped for air 😅. I don't know why you get to knit all the most beautiful stuff. It feels as if I just can't get there (where you are) 🤪. I copied your strawberry crochet hat, and I must say, I am impressed. It's gorgeous - it's going to WINGS in August. I made another one with the tulip stitch at the bottom and my husband liked that one even better. Thank you for giving us so many ideas and not being threatened it we follow your ideas! I am going to make the Monkey socks too, just as I copied you in making the Plumose sweater. 🙈🙈💜💜💜

We got somewhere between 38" to 48" (we just don't have anyone measuring it, but had different accounts for our neighbors). It was a big deal given that we lost power AND out generator died. 🤦‍♀ My poor husband was dealing with all of it, because I broke my foot. My husband deserves an award! Happy to hear you both stayed warm despite all the snow. I also noticed, especially in the last episode, that your lighting seemed brighter. Did you get more or new lighting?

Love the 2nd and 3rd pairs of socks. Not brave enough to try socks yet. The hat for hubby turned out great. Ohhh the fade on your sweater sleeves would look amazing. Off to get my square for this week while I am remembering it.
