With this being nearly a year since my channel blew up with Dark Souls 3, I wanted to really put in as much effort as possible to make this video great, so sorry for the long wait. @@Krone0k hes a joke once u defeated him once in your First playthrough since you know the Mechanics I Beat this bitch hitless with my second Charakter without armour, shield and only with the club since i knew the mechanics around dodging and timing my Hits correctly but i would say that at least i compare his difficulty with vordt. Hes easy as hell for a Boss 😂
For all we know he could be talking about Demon Souls Dark Souls 1 Dark Souls 2 dark souls 3 bloodborne sekiro Shadows die twice literally any of these games could be it
The funny thing is I found dancer to be quite easy. I beat her second try. However the twin princes took me for ever. I swear that boss fight sucks. The teleporting killed me so many times.
I beat her first try on my first playthrough just after killing vordt when my friend told me how much he was struggling with her. He was really salty, and I still think dancer is easy
The most recent time I fought the dancer, he did a total of 3 attacks before I killed him (not counting the scripted phase change attack). He hit me once. He literally just stands there and lets you kill him.
Every Dark Souls comment section: "Yeah man that boss was hard lol I died like 20 times." Some guy: "Really? That boss was easy for me. I beat it in one try on my first playthrough. All you have to do is roll when it attacks. I find it so funny when people say that boss was hard. It was one of the easiest bosses in the entire series."
Ngl thats really me tho. I always have trouble with bosses people say are super easy (aldrich, fuck that guy), but breeze through bosses that are super hard like the pontiff.... Except the dancer, she beats everyone's ass on first playthrough
@@Tread_On_Them my first video game was DS3. And I died like a bitch to Aldrich (I'm talking 40-50 times). But the dancer and pontiff were ezpz. Dancer was shit even. Used only 1 estus.
@@TheAshenTarnishedHunter There is a way to trivialize him. Learning his attacks. In my opinion he is the most predictable dragon boss in the series because he has so indicators for each attack. In my 4th playthrough I managed to beat him in 1 try because I learned his attacks and unlike Friede, he gives sufficient time to strike in openings.
@@HoBroski there's a bonfire close to the boss arena where you can enter the fight without losing hp. he(nick swift) played without knowing so he got hit a lot by enemies
@@carlossssssss5492 is it the one leading to the silver knight and inside a caslte like thingy ? cuz i got it the first thing and died 50 times to beat the guy after that.
The first time I fought Yhorm I couldn't figure out how to activate stormruler's skill. I spent over an hour killing him with the irythill straight sword.
Me and u both lmao. I picked it up and didnt use it and just killed him with the irythill straight sword as well. My friends just laughed and showed me a vid how to correctly beat him. But i can assure u my way was the “correct way” lmao
I'm so glad I'm not the only one. After seeing the poultry damage even with the stormruler I thought I was doing something wrong. So I went to the wiki and all it said is to use its weapon art on Yorhm's head (and I didn't want to do too much research since I wanted hints, not a walkthrough). Since I didn't know you had to charge it all the way to get the range, I spent the entire fight wondering how the hell am I supposed to reach the head with this twig? Like you and Grave, I also just ended up using the irythill straight sword to kill him.
yhorms fight isn't just a easy win, it's his life's story. it's how the giants are slaves and are servants to the others because of how easy they are to "take" with just tools and how he still managed to become a ruler. so him giving up the sword willingly before he went hollow shoes how good of a giant he was. Yhorm's the Best
TheRealZachvworm I think this list is just his experience he has with them now. He has Pontiff at 12 now which I find shocking when I remember saying last year he got his ass kicked by him the second time he versed him and the community voted him at 2 for hardest boss. I wish he ranked the bosses of the experience in general rather than his experience with his speed run bleed build. Not everyone runs a build like that or can parry Pontiff that easily during their first play through. It would make a better list if he listed them on the experience he first had with the bosses and the mechanics of them, not just say "you can parry him and he's easy". The community votes is the one I'll actually care about.
I cant speak for the princes, but I do agree with the dancers place on this list. to me I feel like shes one of the few bosses that dont rely on a massive healthbar. I personally would rather a fight be short yet difficult, rather than long and drawn out. for this reason I despise the number 1 dragon. I hate endurance fights, they are lazy and unappealing in my opinion but I do believe they have their place. Dancer gets my number one as most memorable boss in dark souls. Who get's yours?
actually I took the time to farron dart every last one of the shadows before I go in (str build tho), sorta trivialize it since the shadows all die in one hit
@@madmanpecos Use the buckler or the small shields with the dot in the middle as parrying with those shields are a lot easier, and turn Pontiff into a joke.
I'm the kind of player who gets stuck on fighting the wood with balls for 30 minutes and then kills the dancer on SL30 with a +3 weapon during the rest of the afternoon.
@@GoldenbanjoDJ bruh don't say that. Everybody has their "one" boss or bosses where they struggle a lot. First time i fought him i died 35+ times. The 2nd time on ng+ i murdered him first try. Eventually you're gonna master the bosses so well they're gonna piss easy for you.

I beat Midir first try. However, but for the life of me, I can't take down Gravetender fast enough before the great wolf spam tackles me into oblivion. The beauty of souls bosses.
It took me 7 try's too beat midir, so I went into the Gael fight a little nervous.... but I was surprised of how easy it was compared to Gravetender or Midir?
This is one of those things I love about souls. I got Dancer on my first try, but Pontiff bodied me more then any other non DLC boss(not including Cinder, haven’t fought yet, currently on first ever play through and just have Midir left who’s bodying me. I think a big part is play strategy, I was a dex sword and board build and I found a lot of the fights like dancer, abyss watchers, or Nameless to be easier then fights like Midir because I can block attacks. Midir does not allow a shield build he just breaks your stance every single hit.
My friend tricked me into activating the Dancer boss fight by saying that the priestess drops a good item. Safe to say I was screaming when a cutscene started playing and the door started closing. Good times
Abyss Watchers were my favorite regardless of the difficulty. The music was awesome, the other watchers fighting each other at times was a new twist, etc.
I beat them first try, but it was an incredible fight that felt more stressful then ones I died to several times, and more creative with all the non allied abyss watchers fighting each other.
My experience with ds3 was weird. Pontiff and Abyss Watchers? First try. Midir? Pushover. Dancer? Beat her early after the Deacons. Deacons? Took 5 tries. Greatwood? Fucked my shit up.
The pontiff raped me to the point where the controller was about to find itself in screen. I came back the next day and beat it the first try. Then I died to the dancer only twice (still on my first run of ds3).
I made this around the time when I really sucked although now I've killed all the non dlc bosses and most of the bosses in bloodborne the only one I haven't done in bloodborne is yharnam and the defiled bosses
Personally Twin princes are more annoying af than difficult... Okay maybe they are difficult but that teleporting 5 times in 10 seconds is just bs (coming from a guy who is agressive af using the HSGS)
Its because Nameless have fewer moveset than Dancer, and it makes the fight have more RNG in it (whether you get easy moveset or harder to dodge ones). For speedrunners, RNG is what makes these games hard, that's why Dancer is harder for him. I actually found Dancer and Pontiff harder than Nameless. Heck, even Champion Gundyr is harder (I play with no parry)
Everytime I watch a boss difficulty ranking of Dark Souls 3 I'm reminded of the LPer I discovered the game with. Who died 25 times to the Watchers, 20 to Champion Gundyr and 6 times to the Spears of the Church, but had Midir and Sister Friede down in something like 5 tries and then first tried Gael.
I literally spent 6 hours on the watchers but killed dancers in 2 attempts* *technically more but I’m not counting decided to kill Emma early and was obviously under leveled
I literally spent almost 3 hours trying to beat sister friede on the DLC. I haven't started on ringed city yet but hearing all the comments makes me want to cry
One thing I like is how different people's experiences are with bosses. You personally say Gael's phase 1 is hard with phase 2 being easier. but like you said with Princes, people have different experiences, because for me, I find phase 1 Gael very easy, but as soon as phase 2 starts, it becomes harder.
its incredible how differently we experience bosses based on build or just our weaknesses. I never found dancer very hard but champion gundyr is the hardest fucking boss for me
@@faan481 Are you swinging a very slow weapon and find yourself in a situation where you are only allowed to swing once when champion gundyr jumps on you? That's basically me fighting him for 2 hours, then watched a video, learned how to parry and killed him on the 3rd try :/
I feel you. I managed to beat all the other bosses (except for pontiff and Nameless king) in a maximum of 3 attempts. But the abyss watchers? A whole fucking afternoon. I had to beat them another day.
@@vshiki4872 Pontiff kicked my ass until I learned I could parry his attacks. but even then, it took me about 20+ tries cause I had to learn how to parry. my main technique with bosses was usually blocking or rolling. also didn't help that I SL48 with fallen Knight set which made his attacks hit like a fucking truck.
Focuses on killing aldrich really fast, when its a boss you need patience for, complains about the arrows which are easy to run from or shield. Kinda funny
If I could make a tiny list on who were the hardest bosses from my first time playing then it would be 3. Champion ghundyr 2. Twin princes 1. Nameless king And the easiest: Deacons of the deep Oceiros the consumed king.
From my first playthrough, i have to say the hardest for me were 3. Soul of Cinder 2. Pontiff Sulyvahn 1. Sister Friede Do keep in mind that i haven't played The Ringed City yet. Easiest are 3. Yhorm the Giant 2. Iudex Gundyr 1. Deacons of the Deep
@@Absorbant what build were you using, have you played a souls game before. I’m trying to make a spreadsheet to determine on average what the hardest boss was for every build
Same. The ones people say r hardest I beat in 10 attempts or less. Abyss watchers and lothric princess took like 30 attempts. I think elden ring conditions you in a way that changes how u fight. I started w er too
I find elden ring bosses generally a lot harder (without using the new stuff that is), moves are more complex, having no blinded spot (for example margrit, initially I thought I could stick to his right side)
i got twin princes in 22 tries, nearly won in my 2 try lmao, but then i had problems understanding attacks and wasn't dodging well, but not the hardest boss tbh
@@Le_Grand_Jacques_Brel nah i wouldn’t say elden ring has easier bosses. after playing both the boss designs are very different. ds3 has more punish windows whereas elden ring is a lot more rolling. it’s up to preference which is harder
I've been looking through the comments and it seems like some people don't realize how much difficulty can vary from person to person in a souls game. It depends on several factors like character build, play style, and the way bosses behave can be totally different from fight to fight. People even react to different attacks in different ways.
Thats true and furthermore it heavily depends on when you face an enemy (Your SL). Since after AbyssWatchers the game is more or less completely open you can face most of the bosses in the order you want... So in many cases a boss becomes easy or hard when you face him relativly late or a bit earlier than most
Ohh yeah thats tru, Gael was like 5 tries, bcause he teleported😂 Nameless 7 tries, bcause i like to learn the moves before I play serious Champion Gryndir easy 12 tries Bcause hes fast as fk And holy hell the twin prices... I played them 2 hour straight, And as I checked to go behind him, it was so easy😂😂
It's been a long time since I played this but I'm an aggressive player.. I'm pretty sure I breezed through most bosses apart from the boss that summons a clone, I'm pretty sure I got my ass whooped on that one a handful of tries.. I don't remember struggling on any boss apart from that one 😂
The Slaveknight is probably my favorite bossfight inthe entire series. He's so hard, and I died like 50 times to him my first try, but he's such an epic fight I never once got annoyed.
that was the same with me I loved the Gael fight and the Midir fight, never once got mad or annoyed. Nameless and Sister though thats another story, only two bosses in the entire game i had to summon help for I could not for the life of me get their attack patterns down no matter how many times i tried.
Playing as a Sorcerer my first playthrough, the most fun fight I had was probably Friede, she has the perfect mix of fast attacks which are fun to dodge and giving you good windows to hit (as a Sorcerer), and it's quite challenging learning to dodge her attacks, especially when she goes invisible in the first phase. I started thinking there's no dodging that since she can do 2 different attacks after uncloaking, one where she hits instantly and one where she winds up before attacking, and the one that hits instantly I was pretty sure was impossible to dodge, or so I thought until I heard the steps and the screeching sound of her scythe on the ground and then it clicked for me. Such a fun fight, same with the Demon Princes and Gael (probably didn't enjoy Gael as much because I beat him so soon I couldn't fully "enjoy" the fight, as I did with Friede), but Friede takes the top spot for me.
Sister freide & ariandel is the most memorable boss fight for me, the intensity and the speed was exhilarating! gael and demon prince was pretty memorable too
The hardest bosses I found during my recent run. 5 - Dancer Of The Boreal Valley 4 - Sister Friede 3 - Demon Prince 2 - Champion Gundyr 1 - Dragonslayer Armour
Dancer being that high was the biggest surprise for me. Struggled way more against Nameless king, Friede, Champion Gundyr the princes and even pontiff sylvian than the dancer.
@@z.e.w.worthington4087 but do you fight dancer "when you're supposed to" which is after getting the three lord souls, or early by killing Emma like a huge amount of the playerbase does
i didn't either until my 6th playthrough and i got crazy bad rng, he summoned his sword almost immediately, summoned skeletons, and had his fucking hands in the fog almost the entirety of the 6 or so tries it took me to beat him. seriously, RNG can FUCK you during that fight, which i so unfortunately found out. he literally would not take his hand out of the fog, i was being chased 24/7, and he had a sword that produced that big ass AOE. god i hope that never happens again.

Still, to this day, THE best boss ranking video BY FAR. Any other ranking, like many top 10 ones, including newer videos with all souls games is pretty much a casual's opinion. Old & gold content. DS3 is also harder than Elden Ring imo. But Sekiro takes the cake for me as hardest Fromsoft game, along with many Armored Core games right behind it.

Gael crushed me time and time again. I thought I was learning his moves.. then he changed it up on me. I thought I had gotten thr hang of not panicking. But he continued again and again to exceed my expectations and routinely take a shit on what I thought I knew and wiped his monkey ass all over my health. Every hit was an HP eruption, every dodge felt desperate. Until one day. I finally rose to the challenge. I felt such a wave of euphoria and relief knowing I finally climbed that mountain and conquered it. I actually broke a controller over that awe inspiring bastard.
Use any horizontal swing UGS (Fume ultra, (black iron) greatsword, black knight greatsword, cathedral greatsword) position yourself sideways to where midir is looking and press R1... When done correctly, the back swing should connect twice due midir's larger hitbox, therefore you get 2R1 damage in 1 R1 which should amount to ≈1500 damage if you count the first R1
Actually, in my playthrough Dancer was my 2nd boss so she was way harder. When you do 35 damage per hit, pretty difficult. Nameless is pretty easy. If you use a shield (especially dragonslayer's one), strafe his right side with the shield up and boom, in no time
@@kasapkrvnik7799 it's really relative. I killed. Dancer on my first try two days ago. Died 20 times to the fucking nameless king. I also had no troubles with lorian but died a lot of times to the stupid giant crab in farron keep....
On my first playthrough (which I'm still on) I decided to do the ariandel DLC while I was underlevelled (meaning I didn't have enough damage to kill gravetender fast enough), and let me tell you that gravetender & greatwolf becomes VERY difficult if you have to fight them both at the same time, taking me a really long time and inflated attempt count to beat this guy (though not as much as friede, that's for sure). Also even after beating friede while pretty underlevelled and inexperienced, I found Pontiff to be a surprising challenge, because after doing the entirety of ariandel I was pretty overlevelled and was steamrolling through the content up until pontiff. That boss feels like it should be placed much later due to how overtuned and agressive that fight is, especially without parrying (though he still isn't easy to learn how to parry).
Pontiff is the reason I learned to parry. I’m still not great at it but it makes fighting him much more manageable. And it’s very satisfying to see him staggered.

...Goddamn, the bosses in this game are pretty much all flat out incredible. I could talk about so many, I could talk about the beautiful buildup and creative gimmick of Lothric and Lorian, I could talk about the absolute *awe* inspired in me by the Abyss Watchers, I could talk about the wondrous finale brought on by both Slave Knight Gael and the Soul of Cinder, but I’m not gonna talk about any of those. Instead, I’m going to pay some due respect to one of the most looked-down upon bosses in the entire game, that being the humble Vordt of the Boreal Valley. I’ll never forget my first time facing Vordt, about a month ago, since I only recently bought this game after waiting SO long and went through it blind, which was another unforgettable experience all it’s own. But even after all this time, and all the fantastic foes I’ve come to terms with, Vordt still sticks out in my mind, and I think the reason is that he is such a *good* gateway boss. Of course Vordt is piss easy to veterans of the game, that’s natural. But the first time facing Vordt, this is your first bout against a beast-type foe in the entire game, and while he may seem simple on your next go, he’s *deceptively* simple. He looks intimidating, he acts intimidating, and he hits like a fucking freight train, and all this is meant to scare new players and make them feel insignificant against this massive foe. But with how simple his attacks are, it’s not long before you start noticing the patterns, and, consciously or not, the new player begins to learn how to dodge. While Gundyr is a great first boss, it’s very likely that new players will scrape through it on their first go by the skin of their teeth and not be subjected to the learning experience that comes with Souls bosses. Vordt is not that. You *will* die to Vordt, probably multiple times (I died a total of 8 times to him), but in the process, you begin to understand the learning process that comes for beating every boss to come. Even when Vordt changes it up halfway through (in one of the COOLEST music drops ever conceived, don’t @ me), it still doesn’t stop teaching, because these new attacks are more generously telegraphed, allowing players to “learn on the fly” what to do and how to dodge, culminating in the ultimate adrenaline rush as you take down the most imposing foe you’ve come across in the game. His moveset is deliberately made simple for new players to contrast his intimidating appearance so that new players can get the full experience of learning how to take down a big baddie in the best environment possible. I’ll be moving onto Bloodborne soon, after I finally defeat the Soul of Cinder myself, and I’m sure many more worthy foes and memorable scrapes await me in Yharnam, but I will always remember the lowly Vordt, as the perfect example of teaching the player without saying a single word.
I didn't die to Vordt on my first play through but on my 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th I died to him multiple times, i find the fat ladies are harder to fight than any of the bosses in the game
@@PyroFTB with a dexterity build it's OP at least offline. You just get your dexterity to 30~40 get them to +10 and spam L1. You can also infuse them with a sharp gem and get the Carthus Flame for extra toxicity, you're welcome for making the game piss easy. Also if this comment was ironic, sorry.
@@avunz125 Pretty sure From Software gave an alternative for speed runners to use the Twinblades instead of Anri's straight sword with bleed and luck scalling
I found out that weapon choice will heavily influence the difficulty of a boss. After i discovered the redistribute-featue from Rosaria during my first playthrough, i tried out the widely-used Twinblades. They are great, I understand why everyone uses them. Many things were suddenly easier. However I struggled against Midir and couldn't beat him in 20+ tries. However after I changed back to my strength build and my heavy Greatsword, it was second try. Turns out the additional range and the wide overhead-swing when two-handed makes it a lot easier to punish many of his attacks.
Probably in the minority here but, despite how easy they are I really like the Deacons of the Deep as a boss fight. In my personal opinion aside from the difficulty they have to be one of the most immersive bosses in the series. They are the boss of a huge cathedral which is just awesome, they fit the area. And on top of this the Music... The music is just *perfect* for the boss, theirs no other way to describe it. And in addition to this the way the fight plays out is just really fun and different, all of these deacons trying to protect the archdeacon as they all channel/ pray together to curse you. Though they are an extremely easy boss, I don't think they deserve the hate they get, in design/ on paper they are great, its just their stats/ numbers need to be better. But again I can see if theirs people who play DS mainly for the difficulty I could see why this boss would have been disappointing
I personally like Dancer of the Boreal Valley in terms of music, just because I recently discovered in a video that you can track her attacks through the music, you can also hear her footsteps which is kind of a hint to listen out during the fight, in my opinion the Dancer wasn't a very difficult boss but I like how unlike other brutish bosses and whatnot you get this one who sort of just flows into her attacks. I just started on NG+ on a playthrough and once again I had to kill Emma but I did it before I even went to Vordt this time. Took a few tries as she two shotted me without being embered but it is a great boss if you ask me
For some people she's hard, I've found on different builds different bosses are harder, it should also be noted that people find bosses easier than ones others found much harder.
In most games, if a boss fight is cool to look at, or listen to, then I'll forgive it if it's easy. But remember that this is Dark Souls we're talking about here. One of Dark Souls' defining features is its difficult but rewarding gameplay, and a Dark Souls boss fight should exemplify this point seeing as they are meant to be a final test of the player's skill before letting them move on to the next area. The Deacons don't do this at all, so they fail by default in my opinion.
I really enjoy the deacons of the deep for the simple reason that it’s excellent stress relief. Put on the pontiff eye rings and the farron gs and spin your way to victory in style.
@@Tread_On_Them did you really respond to a 6 months old comment just to say that your sword is better ? Now this is a bruh moment, also one thing, Farron GS is better :)
Dancer: dies in less than a minute and has insane windows of opportunity to get like 5 hits in Nameless King: Has one phase that he's on a dragon and if the camera screws you over you're dead, has a second phase that has 7000+ HP and is really hard to hit between attacks making the fight very long and opening you to making mistakes and dying very easily Dedmocracy: Nameless King: Number 6 Dancer: Number 3 *Seems legit*
Dancer is a fun/beautiful fight that actually feels like a dance imo. Nameless's first phase isn't bad for me because I rock Yhorm's weapon and can easily kill the drake. Nameless himself took a while to beat on NG. NG+ was a breeze in comparison, but I definitely think that his health, damage, and dodge timings make him the hardest in the base game...
@@alolamao833 it's not the telegraphs it's the fact that if you have a weapon that deals high damage you can deal 700+ damage between attacks. And you don't have to worry about getting hit, while with the nameless king, you can hit him once or twice and you get yourself in risk of getting hit, if you're greedy and attack him at the wrong time.
@@tannerchaffin9235 that's true. The timings in the nameless king boss fight are very precise. Many times if you mess one of those up, you'll get caught in the next attack as well, or you will panic and try to heal, and you'll die healing.
The first time I played DS3, I didn’t really understand scaling, so I was rocking a Raw +6 weapon. Needless to say, I didn’t do much damage, but I still beat her within 5 tries my first time through.
Edit: Just (finally) completed first playthrough, my top five for difficulty: 1. Darkeater Midir - Insane damage, and very janky camera work for airborne enemies. 2. Nameless King - Shoddy camera work for Storm King killed me as much as phase 2 did. 3. Champion Gundyr - Mostly because I can't parry to save my life - literally in this case. Eventually got him down WITHOUT parrying though. 4. Slave Knight Gael - Length of this fight was more the problem, fun fight though. 5. Sister Friede - Very fast-paced, if pretty back-loaded fight. Very good fight though.
Dancer>Friede? You serious? Friede is the only boss I really got stuck with in this game so far (about a third into the DLC). She covers ground faster than anyone in the game, hits like a truck (especially ine last phase) and has a crazy amount of health thanks to the three stages... Not even comparable to the dancer where you can just hug her off hand and get her down to half hp without taking serious damage easy.
Of course not. But that's what these lists are about, aren't they? Aggregating a lot of individual opinions. Plus I tried giving some logical arguments (duration of the fight, damage potential, speed) which are factual and not based on opinion to make my cause. All up for discussion tho.
X3N4 this was a personal list I believe. Anyway you should keep in mind that theDemocracy did several playtroughs, and this quite changes your point of view. In the first 3-4 playtroughs you may find some bosses easier (for example the Dancer) simply because you haven't yet find a proper strategy for other bosses (for example the Nameless King or Sister Friede), to which you die a lot. But after a while, when you have perfected your skills and you can quite kill every bosses in one try, your perspective changes
I'm on NG++ as well, which is not quite the experience he has but I'm no total beginner as well ;) Just as his list is personal, so is my opinion. It's all up for discussion and I tried to start one here. Can't wait for the results of the poll to see the community rankings!
Probably a really weird opinion but the best boss in ds3 was easily the dragonslayer armor for me. I have a character on ng+9 that I routinely help people with the armor on and I've easily fought it over 200 times (I have a fucking lot of sunlight medals) and I honestly think that the fight will never get old for me. I always look forward to walking into that arena and seeing that armor ready to be slain once more. Just figured I would throw out my weird ass opinion on what most people consider a decent at best boss.
I like it more so do the like, mystery behind it. Number 1: What are the Angel things? (I know they have a name, shhhhhh) 2: Are they controlling the armour 3: Why does it look like Orenstein, etc
I agree with you actually, he's up there on my list of favorite bosses in the game. It starts off as a straight duel - my favorite kind of boss. He's intimidating, keeps you on your toes, but he's not that hard. Then phase two starts, and things really go nuts. The soundtrack picks up, these scary butterfly things are shooting LASERS at you, he gets pissed off and starts two-handing that axe, destroying the railings all over the place. The fight gets so intense you start to wonder if the bridge is gonna collapse from all the bombardment. Love the boss. :D
Cody Hoffman NG+7 IS THE FUCKING HARDEST IT WILL EVER GET... IT WILL NOT CHANGE DIFFICULTY AFTER NG+7 BUT IT WILL LET YOU CONTINUE TO KEEP ON BEGINNING A NEW JOURNEY
Imagine if Yhorm was as large as he seemed in the first trailer for Dark Souls 3.. Imagine you're on a cliff, and while you're looking out into the vast open battlefield, Yhorm stands and you see his massive size in the distance. He starts throwing boulders and trees at you from this distance. Keeping the main idea of the boss fight, there is a special bow that you can equip which is located on a narrow passageway, so you'll have to time it right if you don't want him to chuck a boulder and smack you off of it. You can avoid this easily though, as while he's rising up in the beginning, you can quickly run towards the narrow passage and run back, so he doesn't smack you off. Run back and start firing the arrows. ( and the arrows are unlimited only for the boss fight.)(it's a greatbow btw) One he's down to half health, he throws a final rock, which causes the cliff to crumble, sending you down with it. You survive the fall, and Yhorm comes running straight toward you for the final phase, where you can now face him head on while he is engulfed in flames. To increase the atmosphere, the camera is zoomed out so you can view most of his massive stature. You don't need a special item for this phase. Just a classic boss fight between a little man/woman and the true lord of giants. How amazing would that be.
Yeah I deleted my reply to put it in a better way though. The dragon was boring because you have to wait for it to circle over and over, shooting it from a hiding place. With this, the cliff you're on has no hiding places. Like waiting until he calms down a little to draw your bow and take a shot.
Fun fact: the Soul of Cinder is supposed to be the player from the first dark souls due to that was the last you see the the cinder warrior, you have the option to receive its power, and it's phases are based on the build players used the most.
This is much more than just a Difficulty ranking list, Each boss he's giving amazing tips, I feel like if that was shown some way in the title, you'd have even more views. This is a strategy guide for Every boss in Dark Souls 3!!!!
Ty Budd yet I didn't come here for a guide for the bosses hmmmm I already knew good ways to beat the bosses so please stop wasting my time trying to show that you know ways to beat the damn things that's not why I watched the video it's not guide to beating bosses it's a tier list for ds3 bosses
watching you run through all these bosses in ten seconds and hitting them seven times when I struggled with all of them, then seeing comments saying that your list is shit and all these bosses are easy makes me feel a certain type of way
Well I would honestly say that his list is not at all applicable to the average Souls player, and is mistitled, because he has played the game so many times that he literally has almost entire boss encounters memorized. So his list ended up not really ranking bosses in order of inherent difficulty, but rather by how exploitable they are.
That and the build he's using. All my playthroughs are no resin, no parry, no bleed, no poison and it makes it a much more enjoyable experience by far. You actually get to experience the bosses to their fullest, while the strat he's using only lets you see one or two combos each phase. For me some of the endgame bosses lasted for 10-15 minutes and it makes for a much more intense experience and a much more interesting learning curve on the bosses (since you need to become really consistent with yoúr dodges)
A resin just doesn't automatically make you a god, its a 100 damage buff. The reason his boss fights are 30 seconds and yours are 10 minutes is simple. he Is way fucking better then you. And that's not an insult. He's way better then every single player but the 10 speed runners that beat his time.
I think you should name this video "Ranking the Difficulty on a Speedrun perspective". I disagree with you on the most bosses and your argument is always "I found easy because speed run". Idk, use a cheap build to destroy a boss isn't parameter for ranking their difficulty. I'm not trying to be rude, I love your other ranking videos.
Stuartz Yeah i noticed the bosses he ranked the highest were ones that don't stagger as easy as the others do and allow him to L1 combo them to death. for a full on heavy build against someone like Nameless is a nightmare.
The ones that he rate highly are the ones that speedrunners are known for having trouble with (and there are barely any good guides online) so it's not surprising why he struggles with them
Cheap build is highly subjective, you could get the same results just by using A LOT of weapons with resin if you already know the game enough to find upgrade materials early. I feel like this is more a list from the perspective of "The game has been out for one year and I've been playing it nonstop". For example, in a speedrun Abyss Watchers are probably the hardest boss, while Champion Gundyr and Pontiff wouldn't reach the top half at all. I also feel like exploiting the weaknesses of bosses and using the most effective methods to kill them should count towards a difficulty ranking.
For Sister Friede, I find that having a GS or a UGS works really good, since it can stagger lock her, unlicke the straight swords and other smaller weapons. And yeh, in NG+, ALWAYS face her with her own weapon, the fight becomes full anime at that point. It is hard, vut aoo worth it in my opinion, it is one hell of a fight!
Michael Chambers when I first started playing she kicked my ass so many times but after playing through the game a few times she is usually like the 3rd boss I fight
I find her to be one of the easiest bosses in the game I beat her first try both play through so thought I got lucky the first time then second try on new game plus I bodied her as my third boss.
It really is different for everyone, haha. Killed the Dancer in one go with only half of my flasks, whereas the damn crystal sage got me like 5 times...
It's crazy how much the difficulty of some bosses varies from player to player. DS3 was my first ever souls game and I just finished it for the first time. Wolnir and Aldrich take the crown of easiest bosses since I beat them 1st try. Pontiff, Dancer, champion Gundyr and the Princes took me like 3 or 4 tries but then Curse-rotted Greatwood took me 10 tries and Dragonslayer Armor - 15 or more.
Agreed for some reason I find her attack patterns very rhythmic and almost soothing... Like the beat of a song almost. Beat her 1st try with like 5 of my 10 estus left over and I'm not even that good of a Souls player overall. I guess everyone has that one boss that suits them best.
crazy how some bosses only took me 1-2 tries on my first playthrough, but there were NON-bosses that would kill me dozens of times. like pontiff's beasts guarding the archdeacon, holy heck. they seriously deserved some epic boss music lol
Bro pontiffs beasts guarding archdeacon and those crow things guarding that disc miracle in the village in ariandal are legitimately more difficult than many bosses lol
Literally me, beat pontiff one try, abyss watchers one try, dragonslayer two tries, the brothers like 6, 7 tries but the enemy that is like a knight that walks on all fours and has a sword that deals freeze damage? That guy is my nightmare holy shit
That's mainly dark souls 1 to be honest. In 2 it's running out of stamina, and in 3 it's the bosses. Though some of them are stupid easy, ds3 has the hardest bosses along with a few from ds2. Ds1 just doesn't though lul, but it has twice more gravity kills to make up for it..
The hard ones on pretty much every play through: 1. Midir 2. Nameless King 3. Gael 4. Demon Prince 5. Friede 6. Soul of Cinder Challenging, but easier each time you fight them: 7. Twin Princes 8. Pontiff 9. Champion Gundyr 10. Dancer 11. Dragonslayer Armour Mid level difficulty bosses: 12. Halflight 13. Oceiros 14. Aldrich 15. Old Demon King Easy: 16. Abyss Watchers 17. Gavetender & Greatwolf 18. Crystal Sage 19. Vordt 20. Curse-Rotted Greatwood Easy to the point where you almost feel bad about yourself if they kill you: 21. Deacons 22. Iudex 23. Ancient Wyvern 24. Yhorm (w/ Storm Ruler) 25. Wolnir
Idk, for me personally the Twin Princes were very hard the first and 2nd times, but got easier and easier each play through. I feel like they're hard initially because of Lorian's teleporting and the awkward combos that follow this. Once you get that down, all you really have to worry about is his beam attack because of it's power, but even that is very easy to avoid. Phase 2 is pretty much the same, but you just have to always remember that Lothric's magic attacks are hidden a short amount of time behind Lorians's attacks. Plus it's extremely easy to get Lorian down in this phase, which allows you to do massive damage to Lothric while he's reviving his brother. Vordt is super easy, but I don't feel like he belongs in the bottom category.... Yhorm takes like 5 total hits because of Storm Ruler, Wyvern can be one-shotted, Deacons are the definition of pathetic minus their ability to curse (which is easily preventable), Iudex is the tutorial to the game and Wolnir's bracelets make the fight almost impossible to not win. At least Vordt, while very easy, is an actual fight and requires you to somewhat pay attention to what you're doing in his second phase.
Just being the tutorial doesn't make it a low-tier boss. While he is easy, he's easily the hardest tutorial boss out of the three games (despite the fact that Dark Souls 2 didn't have one lmao)
Iudex was probably the only boss on that list that I was a little stumped on where to put him. I personally thought he belonged there due to his relatively low damage output and his pretty low health pool. His combos can be tricky if you aren't used to the way Souls is played though and his 2nd phase can be an awkward fight, so I could definitely see him being a little higher up.
I just want to pay respect for Dancer cuz she taught me how to roll like a god. I never played any of soul series and when I first faced her after vort I really wanted to fight her. Even after my bro told me that she is mid-late game boss I kept trying to beat her at this moment. Now imagine how hard it is to kill her when you only experienced 3 bosses, playing without a shield and your sl is around 30. After that I roll my way to the victory. Literally. All of the upcoming bosses were jokes including pontiff, Aldrich, soul of cinder and gael. The only bosses I struggle with rn are the bigs from ringed city (midir and demon princes). All because I were taught how to roll properly. Thanks you, Dancer Of The Boreal Valley
If you summon gael for the demon prince fight it becomes way easier. On my playthrough gael killed one of the demon by himself. Although I think its more fun to fight them solo.
@@amirshafigullin I think it's based on luck. When I summoned him he was a comete badass. He took down demon in pain by himself. He even survived The Second Phase.
The dancer is either the easiest part of the game or the hardest for me. My dex mage hates her. My great sword/shield strength character makes her look like a puppy. My pryromancer is 50/50. Some times she can turn the dancer to ash, others I just get smashed. 😂
I was always good and a fan of "dance bosses". Those who almost make you metaphorically dance with them in an amazing battle, in the dancers case its more literal dancing but my point remains.
Exactly. You really can’t argue one boss is easy when someone says it’s hard, because it’s different for everyone. Personally, Champion Gundyr has kicked my ass more than any other boss. Simply cuz I can’t parry for shit.
28:28 how in a world it makes a difference if someone later comes up with an easy strategy. The difficulty of the boss is determined by how difficult it was for you to defeat him the first time going blind, not by the strategy you looked up on the internet later
I literally had to stop using twinblades because i got bored of the game being too easy. I switched to lothric straight sword which isnt exactly helping the difficulty its certainly more fun to watch its moveset with a shield in my hand because of zelda
@@Fortniteloverepic i mean i live at high levels so i have sufficient damage for +7 but all i really need to do is get used to the playstyle because i keep trying to use them like a straight sword and sneaking hits in but all i get are shitty roll attacks that dont do a lot of damage and arent satisfying to land with
My main problem with the King of the Storm/Nameless King fight is that the fog terrain gives you ZERO spacial reference if you don't know the size of the enemies. The number of times that I've whiffed attacks being slightly too far away because I assumed the big as dude was slightly closer is waaayyy too high.
I commented here a few years ago, on my first playthrough. Now i’ve been playing for 2 years and nearly 1400 hours. Here’s my new list. (Least difficult to most) 25. Iudex Gundyr - Could probably win playing with my feet and blindfolded. 24. Vordt of the Boreal Valley - Used to be the bane of my existence, now nothing more than a speedbump on the way to the Undead Settlement. 23. Ancient Dragon - I hate the Dragon Kin 22. High Lord Wolnir - Do I really need to explain? 21. Deacons of the Deep - Self explanatory. Just slap the first five once or twice, then backstab the archdeacon and whale on him. 20. Curserotted Greatwood - Incredibly annoying boss, but with charcoal pine resin, this boss becomes a cakewalk. 19. Yhorm the Giant - Very well telegraphed hits, only lands hear because hits pack one hell of a punch. 18. Champion Gundyr - I have this fight Down to a science, i can fairly regularly no hit this fight, but his hits do pack a punch. 17. Abyss Watchers - Very low health and high stagger potential makes this boss very easy. 16. Dancer of the Boreal Valley - I don’t really know what to say, just not that hard for me. 15. Old Demon King - Does a lot of damage, especially if you fight him midgame, but attacks are well telegraphed and health isn’t that great. 14. Crystal Sage - The only early game boss that gives me any trouble, i almost always die 2-3 times to this boss. 13. Halflight, Spear of the Church - NPC is easy, but if you fight a player, then you could either have the easiest fight or the hardest. 12. Champion Gravetender/Greatwolf - Really really annoying boss, almost always gives me some trouble. 11. Pontiff Sulyvahn - One of my favorite bosses, and certainly fairly difficult. 10. Aldritch, Devourer of Gods - GOD i hate this boss. The arrow spam can kill even the beefiest of builds, and the spells can do serious Damage. 9. Nameless King - Only this high because of the King of Storms. I can no hit nameless, but that’s if i even get to him past that stupid fucking bird. 8. Dragonslayer Armor - Probably my strangest ranking. I genuinely could not explain why I have such trouble in this boss. 7. Oceiros, The Consumed King - Extremely RNG dependent boss, can be easy or hard, I usually find it to be hard. 6. Twin Princes - Same reasons a Dmod. 5. Sister Friede - Same reasons as Dmod 4. Soul of Cinder - This boss has always and probably will always give me trouble. Weirdly enough, I find the second phase harder, the wombo combo is devastating if you get caught in it, granted it’s fairly easy to dodge. 3. Slave Knight Gael - Immense health coupled with high speed makes this boss extremely difficult. 2. Darkeater Midir - Having to stay in front of the boss and hit the head leaves you vulnerable to it’s highly damaging attacks, which can 1-2 shot even the tankiest of builds. 1. Demon Princes - I couldn’t tell you why this boss is so difficult to me, it is to date, the only boss I cannot beat solo, and the only boss that has made me cry. This is not satirical, after about 6 hours on this boss and very nearly defeating it, i was killed and had a full mental breakdown. This is far and away the hardest boss in soulsborne for me
I feel you with the Demon Prince. Fuck that fight so much, on my first playthrough I fought them more times than Gael and Midid combined (still not as much as Friede though)
Funny, everything you said about us wanting a spectacle boss if it's gonna be easy or a puzzle is exactly what we eventually got for the Divine Dragon fight in Sekiro.
well the difficulty of bosses depends on your type of build, like having a pure sorcery build vs aldrich which would be so difficult, or fighting the old demon king using a pyromancy build
just try to use sorceries on midir or the demon prince on NG+7< if you want a real challenge... (without pestilent mist[or mercury or whatever it's called] ofc)
For me after beating Pontiff and hearing about how difficult Dancer is so I was excited when I got to it. I was so disappointed after fighting I felt that it was surprisingly easy compared to Pontiff
It's so fun to see everyone is on a different skill level and having different experiences, because I killed pontiff on my third try but dancer was so hard I had to summon a friend who had beaten the game like 3 times lol
@@bigmonkeyman45 I know right?? To me Pontiff is the hardest boss or at least the one that broke me, and I didnt wanna summon my friends because I didnt want no asterisk on my playthrough. I wanted the full experience. But at least my top 3 bosses I had the most difficult time with is 1) Pontiff 2) Champion Gundyr and i'll give 3 to Lothric and Lorian. Everyone else took me some tries but I never felt the rage I felt with those three bosses.
The thing I love about champion gundyr is that he has the same attacks as judges but the attacks are either slightly slower or faster so if you have muscle memory that is super locked in for judex you miss the parries
gael has 3 phases really. Because gael 1st phase is the ravenous artorius phase 2nd is the slight passive then 3rd starts when he does the explosion then gets really aggressive and has the furiosity of 1st and the posture of 2nd
before the patch, if you used poison mist and then snap freeze on gael he will get flashbacks from ariendal and stand still as you destroy him with your attacks
I tried 4 hours straight to kill the dancer, then I lost my mind and respect my character from STR, DEX to VIT, VIG.... Since then whole game become much much easier
Bring Gael. He's the reason you're there in the first place, he also couldn't best Friede on his own. Also learn from his weapon choice and embrace the way of B O N K. Backstabs are pretty plentiful, wail on Father Ariandel while Friede just kind of dicks around in the background. As for Blackflame? Dance around and whittle her ass to nothing.
Dancer was the first boss i actually got stuck on and took me like 10 tries but friede took me like 30, i had to stop myself from breaking my controller every time i died to her. Dancer is honestly easy for first phase and even though she spams attacks like a bitch there are multiple opportunities to attack. Same thing with friede, but friede is three phases with an extra boss in the second, which makes her way harder for me.
personally i find Dancer to be the hardest fight in the entire series for me (excluding sekiro, havent played that yet) I can the likes of O&S, Kalameet, Manus, Fume, Nameless, Gael, Midir, and even Orphan all on my first try, but it always takes 2-3 fights for me to beat Dancer.
With this being nearly a year since my channel blew up with Dark Souls 3, I wanted to really put in as much effort as possible to make this video great, so sorry for the long wait. TheRealZachvworm RNG luck, lack of stagger, and that the moves are not necessarily telegraphed like the King
Nicholas Bennett This is an updated list buddy. He already made the list you're talking about (minus the dlc)
I cant speak for the princes, but I do agree with the dancers place on this list. to me I feel like shes one of the few bosses that dont rely on a massive healthbar. I personally would rather a fight be short yet difficult, rather than long and drawn out. for this reason I despise the number 1 dragon. It depends on several factors like character build, play style, and the way bosses behave can be totally different from fight to fight. People even react to different attacks in different ways.
Very true
Thats true and furthermore it heavily depends on when you face an enemy (Your SL). Since after AbyssWatchers the game is more or less completely open you can face most of the bosses in the order you want... So in many cases a boss becomes easy or hard when you face him relativly late or a bit earlier than most

Took a few tries as she two shotted me without being embered but it is a great boss if you ask me
i didnt take the storm ruler thats why it was hard to beat yhorm the giant
dancer is not that hard
Put on the pontiff eye rings and the farron gs and spin your way to victory in style.
as long as you unequip the farron gs when you're done, keep it on and die

@@Tread_On_Them did you really respond to a 6 months old comment just to say that your sword is better ? Now this is a bruh moment, also one thing, Farron GS is better :)
I usually stick with the Exile Greatsword and the Left Eye of the Pontiff. I’ve never had to use an Estus on that fight.

Dancer: dies in less than a minute and has insane windows of opportunity to get like 5 hits in
Nameless King: Has one phase that he's on a dragon and if the camera screws you over you're dead, has a second phase that has 7000+ HP and is really hard to hit between attacks making the fight very long and opening you to making mistakes and dying very easily
Dedmocracy:
Nameless King: Number 6
Dancer: Number 3
*Seems legit*
I don’t get why people find Dancer hard. The unique telegraphs are what make the boss fight interesting, but pretty easy.
Edit: Just (finally) completed first playthrough, my top five for difficulty:
When I saw Sulyvahn at 12 and NK at 6 I almost got a heart attack, then I saw the Dancer at 3 and Midir at 1 they had to rush me to the hospital.
X3N4 if you suck at a boss it doesn't mean it is universally hard, man
Of course not.
It helps that it has one or the best song of the entire souls series. That said, it is one of the easiest bosses in my opinion, although still good.
I love that fight, one of my all time favorites. Love playing highly agressive againts it, and the music is fucking amazing
How amazing would that be.
furthermore, regarding Darkeater Midir:
"hold on guys, i see some fire. Let me run 5 miles away and come back later."
Grambee that sounds way better than the one WE GOT
Grambee first phase = dragon God +bed of chaos
Second phase = giant lord
Grambee you responded quickly.
Now I get the idea.
Zer0 Chill oh shit sorry, next time he’ll make a video that’s good specifically for you out of all his viewers. ;)
Prometheus oh nyeas😆
watching you run through all these bosses in ten seconds and hitting them seven times when I struggled with all of them, then seeing comments saying that your list is shit and all these bosses are easy makes me feel a certain type of way
Well I would honestly say that his list is not at all applicable to the average Souls player, and is mistitled, because he has played the game so many times that he literally has almost entire boss encounters memorized. So his list ended up not really ranking bosses in order of inherent difficulty, but rather by how exploitable they are.
yeah i agree
That and the build he's using. All my playthroughs are no resin, no parry, no bleed, no poison and it makes it a much more enjoyable experience by far. You actually get to experience the bosses to their fullest, while the strat he's using only lets you see one or two combos each phase. For me some of the endgame bosses lasted for 10-15 minutes and it makes for a much more intense experience and a much more interesting learning curve on the bosses (since you need to become really consistent with yoúr dodges)
Well he did say it's HIS list. Just saying, like meaning his own personal opinion.
The ones that he rate highly are the ones that speedrunners are known for having trouble with (and there are barely any good guides online) so it's not surprising why he struggles with them
Stuartz you are totally correct
Exactly, I would switch the dancer's and pontiff's spots honestly if it were from a non-speed run pov
The FUGS is one hell of a weapon
in my opinion Gael is a fan fucking tastic last boss in the series
Yh it doesn't top the best bloodborne fights buts it's a fuckin epic fight to end of the series
who else doesn't struggle that much against the dancer of boreal valley ?
Michael Chambers when I first started playing she kicked my ass so many times but after playing through the game a few times she is usually like the 3rd boss I fight
i didnt wen i brought my friends who were new game +.
I beat her at soul level 1 but she killed me a bunch of times. Fighting her on a leveled character is pretty easy though for most builds.
Michael Chambers 2nd try boss
I find her to be one of the easiest bosses in the game I beat her first try both play through so thought I got lucky the first time then second try on new game plus I bodied her as my third boss.
It really is different for everyone, haha. Killed the Dancer in one go with only half of my flasks, whereas the damn crystal sage got me like 5 times...
JR Zeebs EXACTLY THE SAME!!!
Lol
How tf did you find the crystal sage hard?!?!!!!! It was the easiest boss in the game imo! Literally easier then a skeleton archer!
Kayl Taco the Crystal sage is rng on the attack pattern as I've had it where he's only melee'd and used crystal soulmass
JR Zeebs the crystal sage I really underestimated it so I died 2 times I accualy tried the 3rd time but that was back the when I was a noob
I actually found Dancer to be one of the easiest! Beat her first try ☺️
Agreed for some reason I find her attack patterns very rhythmic and almost soothing... Like the beat of a song almost. Beat her 1st try with like 5 of my 10 estus left over and I'm not even that good of a Souls player overall. I guess everyone has that one boss that suits them best.

21. Deacons
22. Iudex
23. Ancient Wyvern
24. Yhorm (w/ Storm Ruler)
25. Wolnir
I agree with almost all of this, the only changes i see is make the Twin Princes harder, and make Vordt the Dort easier
Ok. i see your point
Jesus 😂 I couldn't contain my laughter in that dramatic turnaround in the first shot of the intro lol amazing character design.
@@bromomento3862 Nani? His damage is awful imo. I just used him as a bait. Besides, I'm already used to soloing them with bleed blades

The Harshed Mallow yeah when I first played the game dancer was definitely the hardest boss for me but now a days she’s relatively easy
I personally never died to her
#6- Nameless King

The only 2 bosses that had short run back in my personal experience were Old Demon King and Nameless.
I commented here a few years ago, on my first playthrough. Now i’ve been playing for 2 years and nearly 1400 hours. Here’s my new list.
(Least difficult to most)
25. Iudex Gundyr - Could probably win playing with my feet and blindfolded.
24. Vordt of the Boreal Valley - Used to be the bane of my existence, now nothing more than a speedbump on the way to the Undead Settlement.
23. Ancient Dragon - I hate the Dragon Kin
8. Dragonslayer Armor - Probably my
strangest ranking. I genuinely could not explain why I have such trouble in this boss.
7. Oceiros, The Consumed King - Extremely RNG dependent boss, can be easy or hard, I usually find it to be hard.
6. Twin Princes - Same reasons a Dmod.
5. Sister Friede - Same reasons as Dmod
This is far and away the hardest boss in soulsborne for me
No dancer xd
nvm
Deacons harder than Gundyr? Nah
Yeah I was thinking the same thing when he brought that up.
Then Elden Ring came around and we got a great spectacle with good difficulty
well the difficulty of bosses depends on your type of build, like having a pure sorcery build vs aldrich which would be so difficult, or fighting the old demon king using a pyromancy build
deadworms THANK YOU finally someone addressed this
Just use a raw Broadsword on demon king if you're pyro
Same as wizard
If you're a quality build, use black knight sword and rip
Old demon king with pyromancy is easy...poison mist, toxic mist, dark orb spam. It's fucking easy
just try to use sorceries on midir or the demon prince on NG+7< if you want a real challenge... (without pestilent mist[or mercury or whatever it's called] ofc)
For me after beating Pontiff and hearing about how difficult Dancer is so I was excited when I got to it. I was so disappointed after fighting I felt that it was surprisingly easy compared to Pontiff

Pontiff is a dickass he is way harder if u havent parried on ur first playthrough like me
Saaamee bro
It's so fun to see everyone is on a different skill level and having different experiences, because I killed pontiff on my third try but dancer was so hard I had to summon a friend who had beaten the game like 3 times lol
@@bigmonkeyman45 I know right?? To me Pontiff is the hardest boss or at least the one that broke me, and I didnt wanna summon my friends because I didnt want no asterisk on my playthrough.
Because gael 1st phase is the ravenous artorius phase 2nd is the slight passive then 3rd starts when he does the explosion then gets really aggressive and has the furiosity of 1st and the posture of 2nd
flamingriceball9 so true
before the patch, if you used poison mist and then snap freeze on gael he will get flashbacks from ariendal and stand still as you destroy him with your attacks
Omar Shaaban Whatever shit you're selling, I'M NOT BUYING IT.
This is the best comment. Ever.
As someone who's beat every boss in the series aside from sister Friede, I find it absolutely hilarious that you found the dancer harder
I was pretty disappointed with dancer I ended up beating him on my second try, but pontiff killed like for like an hour straight
