+Scrub Seeker™ it is, but at least it has a lot of elite giants smacking you before getting to him, I've died a lot more to the rolling stone head that to the Giant Lord
I disagree with the pursuer. While he may be quite easy he represents a massive difficulty spike. DS2 was my first souls game and I remember beating the las giant and thinking "huh, maybe this game isn't all it's cranked up to be." And then I reached the pursuer and I got DESTROYED. Another thing I like is how he comes back like an old friend, even if he tries to kill you
I agree. Ive been killed a lot by him in the past, but then i realized 90% of his attacks can be dodged entirely by strafing to his right, and his slow 3 hit combo's first swing can be parried. Just constantly parry that move and strafe right and it's a cakewalk
Dark Souls 2 was my second DS and i'm agree with you (i find the roll really different from dark souls 1 and i'm bad a parrying so i just get fucked by him multiple time)
I'm playing the game for the first time and beat the Last Giant on my first try. The Pursuer has given me so much grief I think when I get back to the game I'll leave and come back later. I know he's extremely weak to parrying, but I'm not using a shield because one of Dark Souls 2's strongest defenders has assured us all the game is much better that way.
The giant Lord is the last giant with a sword. In the memory you are going back in time to defeat him and in the last giant fight he gets REALLY mad because the person who defeated him is there.
"When the grammar of the creator fails, and the tongue twists into knots, the twitter lords will rise from their tombs, and correct this vile misuse of our sacred language"
Imo: Covetous Demon is easier than Prowling Magus. The Magus has a couple dudes who shoot lightning, Covetous Demon has nothing. I honestly don’t think i’ve taken a single hit from CD. I also think Last Giant is easier than Dragon Rider.
to be honest, when i did my first ng+7 CoC this dude 2 shot me (Covetous demon) but i died 0 times to blue smelter. If you underestimate him in higher ngs he can actually 2-3 hit you with his slam attack
Congregation can be pretty dangerous. If you get too careless, you'll get slaughtered in a second. Covetus demon can be killed pretty easily by someone who's never played a game before. I've seen toddlers take him out first try
It truly wuz...very unique...kinda hoped to see more unique shit like that and plz make another boss with valstads weird chill movements that look like they're aren't gonna hit u ir his not gonna attack but attacks u anyways
Best to fight it when ur unprepared cuz any mistake means death at those low lvls and its one of the few fun bosses with coop maybe the chariot rider should survive in coop to make it not ganky by the players
How do you get the Yellow glowing weapons he used i am new to dark souls and have only beaten a few bosses (Dragonrider,The Last Giant,Dragonslayer, The Presuer) pls tell me i am using the Brodsword 3+ at the moment
In defense of Old Dragonslayer's lack of difficulty, remember that he's an early game boss wheras Ornstein and Smough were the climax of Dark Souls and meant to be a true test of skill. Old Dragonslayer does a good job of teaching inexperienced souls players the importance of properly timed rolls, in comparison to the bosses prior to him (Last Giant and Dragonrider) really only requiring simple strafing with the occasional lazy roll out of harm's way.
Well considering how hard the game's overall quality drops after Anor Londo (not counting the DLC area) I think it's a pretty fair assessment. But even if you don't consider Ornstein and Smough the climax of the game, at least consider that they're a midgame boss and you're expected to know your shit by that point. Old Dragonslayer is early game and designed with newbies in mind. He's about as hard as Pursuer, IMO. Neither is hard, but Dragonslayer gets flak for being easy while Pursuer is a fan favorite.
Twat Pot I played ds1, 3 and I recently started 2 and Don't be ashamed of dying to any of the bosses in this list, I'm a pretty ^skilled^ ds player and on your first playtrough every boss can be hard
We all start some where. DS1 was my first souls game, and I died to Pinwheel's clone after I killed the prime one. They are fun games, but the more you play this kind of game, the better you get.
I am such a lore slave that I have never been bothered by the level of difficulty of the boss. I've always liked to look for a story behind each of them.
@Nemanja Mitric holding a torch makes freja easy though, the spider enemies run away from the torch.on the other hand, i don't think there's a similar trick for rat authority
About the Exetutioner's Chariot: This may sound wierd but I like the Executioner's Chariot fight. The beginning at least. I was intimidated when I saw the light and it felt kind of new, because it was not like a big empty arena with one (mostly big) guy in the middle. The way to the boss is horrendous of course. But I also was disappointed when I closed the gate and I had to fight the horse. Why the horse? It CRASHED through the gate, yet lives? Why not fight the guy on the chariot with a freakin' SCYTHE?! But the boss called "Executioner's Chariot" not "The Executioner" so I guess the horse itself is the boss. What a letdown. About the Royal Rad Vanguard: I think this whole fight would have been so much better without the boss' lifebar. Without a lifebar, you would feel a bit helpless at least. I mean... it's an endless wave of rats, and first time it was kind of scary for me, because I was stuck in the corner, my weapon was in shit condition, and there was no end in sight. But then the lifebar appeared. I knew I had to look something out of the ordinary, because killing the rats was not an option and I soon saw that punk rat. It was over in a second.

I did an experiment and found out that the number of rats in the battle with the royal rat vanguard is limited. That was much tougher than boss himself.
Found that out my most recent playthrough when I was being extra autistic and didn't bother taking out the skeletons and necromancers and couldn't find a hidie hole on his way around and in a last ditch effort just tried rolling through, and it worked.
8:40 This is the moment where I realise, that I haven't understand what those messages were about for torch and wheel. Which means that I had a bad time with Medusa i died like 15 times
I think Pursuer is the toughest one for new players since he's attacks are fast and devastating and your health and stamina aren't that great. I probably died 30+ times to him alone before I timed the ballista perfectly.
but after you learn how to play against him, and that LITERALLY all you have to do is DODGE RIGHT he becomes impossible to die to. especially with the sheer amount of experience that you can get fighting him several times over the course of the game
Varun Sharma the good thing is that you can get the drangleic shield and armor set after defeating him and FOR the games beginning those are pretty useful mostly FOR Me since souls 2 was the first one in the series that i played
Almost all of these fights you say “once you’re familiar with them.” How do you get familiar with them? By dying to them? Making them actually difficult? Or by playing multiple playthroughs, at which point difficulty is irrelevant?
old comment, but basically, after one playthrough, most bosses in this first half will be pretty easy. Even after 2 or 3 playthroughs, Fume Knight and Sir Alonne will still likely pose a challenge. That's the difference
@Linda Niemkiewicz . Yea your thinking of the right one! With the nashandra spirits ouside of the arena! The other problem with me having to do certain bosses so so many times is the fact that on my first playthroughs on any dark soul games i absolutely refuse to use any summons or help of any kind so that tends to make it a lot more difficult!! And im trying to think of which boss your talking about the blue guy?
13:05 THAT IS LITERALLY WHAT YOU DO FOR EVERY BOSS IN DARK SOULS, that's what you do for Artorias, that's what you do for Manus, and that's what you do for the Orphan of Kos etc. etc.
So, after watching several of these boss ranking videos, the impression I get about the author is that "I hardly ever die on any boss fight" and "all dark souls bosses have crappy designs, and I don't know why I'm spending so much time on these games"
skootdiggity I know what you mean mate I personally like Dark Souls 2 and its bosses (apart from the gank squad) and this guy just a seems whiny that some bosses aren't difficult He can't say how difficult some of these bosses are because he uses Estoc against them
Most of the bosses in the main game are really pathetic and uninspired and I am concentrating on PATHETIC! Easy, with lazy-ass design and mechanics (if I can even call it mechanics). There are a handful of satisfying bosses (Smelter Demon, Lost Snnner, Velstadt, Looking Glass Knight, Persuer, Executioner's Chariot, Darklurker to some extend, Demon of Song and Aldia). And some of these are also considered horrible by a lot of people (Aldia, Demon of Song,Smelter Demon and the Chariot).
When I first fought the dragon rider I was like"ooooohhh a boss" and he tried to dash at me and stab me so I rolled and he fell off. I DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH HIM.
I remember when I was playing this game for the first time with my friend. This game was my intro to this kind of game. And when we ran into good old Magus I went in first and was like "Oh shit there's a boss here" "A what?" He walked in with his strength build and whacked like five of them and they died right off. We were both suddenly not worried.
The Demon of song is an easy boss BUT it has one of the best boss design in DS2. For me the Single best boss fight in DS2 is Darklurker because even getting to fight him is challenge. He or she, should have been the final boss.
like written above Darklurker is not the biggest challenge if you are able to wield the gyrm shield and dark knight set. his sword attack is actually a dark spell attack so you can lower its damage extremly und gyrm shield does the rest. even when both of them hit you with theire melee the same time you have nothing to fear when you are prepared.
6:20 I've never actually noticed the water rising during the fight myself, it just rises too slow to really be noticeable. I reckon i might have gone 'man this water is higher up than i thought' though
@@princevaldym7606 I misunderstood him. If he had capitalized "last giant", I would have known he meant the boss and not saying that he was the final giant. That's where the confusion was. I didn't know that they were the same entity, so that makes sense that he is raging mad when he sees you.
+theDeModcracy i remember my first time fighting the prowling magus i actually died my first time through because i was watching a stream while playing and by time i noticed i was fighting a boss i died while thinking to myself "that's a boss?"

Which ds2 version and did u do all fights with persuer without summons... There's no way u didn't die to the gank persuers at castle drangleic in normal ds2
U should try pre patched ancient dragon in normal ds2...nigga one shots u and makes all fire resistance gear in ng+ that u culd use to help u in Ng to make the boss easier only let u take two hits
The Dragon Rider can be further trivialized by sniping at it with arrows till he finally raises his shield, and then once you enter his arena you will see that you widdled him down to a depressing amount of health, allowing for a quick victory.
I think that many of these bosses would be pretty good if they just had a second stage, and a few other buffs. Something like: 1) Prowling Magus and Congregation - as soon as the fight begins, he buffs the entire congregation with Dark, so that they are faster and deal more damage. He'll then regularly cast a shield of darkness on whichever enemy you are attacking at the time, roughly halving your damage. Once he's the only one left, he pulls an Abyss Watcher and drains power from the Congregation's bodies, fully healing himself, gaining extra health and beginning to levitate and move around quickly while casting spells. 2) Covetous Demon - he should be considered so heavy, that most of his attacks automatically cause shockwaves. So, if you are close to him for a few seconds like at 1:42, he slams his tail into the ground and the shockwave reaches you on the side as well, unless you roll away. There's also a stronger shockwave at the end of his roll, and his "leap" shockwaves half the room. His thick skin should also give him higher resistance to slashing weapons (that rapier damage on such a thick-skinned creature is painful), and once his health runs out, he bleeds out a Toxic pool and goes into his second stage, which is very slow and no longer rolls, but can still eat and has Toxic spellcasting. 3) Dragonrider - AI buff so that he doesn't fall off (it can't be THAT hard, right?), gets a backwards kick once you have hit him from behind once or twice. Goes frenzied once his health is halfway down, and either moves much faster and attacks more aggressively (large arena), or still moves slowly and deliberately, but gets a shield-bashing combo to push you off (small arena). 4) The Last Giant - first those shackles on his ankles should act as armor, so that if you attack carelessly and your hits connect with those, it's the same as if your attack got blocked, and you deal scratch damage and are left vulnerable. Then, he no longer gets the "arm attack" thing, but instead falls to his knees at that point, and you have to actually hit his body to do damage, and he crawls on his knees while swinging his arms around. 5) The Skeleton Lords should have a bit more HP, and learn how to block you (or even parry you) with their weapons. The skeleton AI should also be buffed so that they git gud at surrounding you, but that can be applied to most enemies, really. 6) Royal Rat Vanguard's rats would be a lot scarier if their AI specifically knew how to split in half and surround you at all costs, and never wander mindlessly like some rats do at 4:54 7) Demon of Song - after you exploit his opening after an arm attack once or twice, he'll immediately jump backwards after doing it (i.e. right when you roll away) and then shoot at you. Possibly gets a buffed 2nd stage as well. 8) Flexile Sentry - the inactive Sentry should try to automatically shield the side you are approaching from with its weapon after you get some hits in this manner. Once wounded a lot, they crawl, lack easily exposed areas, and parrying them becomes very important. 9) Giant Lord - that fur coat is so thick, it should count as leg armor until you deal enough damage to shred through it. He also gets a 2nd, crawling stage, where's like a giant, non-teleporting Lothric.. 10) Old Dragonslayer- is equivalent to Super Ornstein in power, has additional Dark spells, can summon a couple of Old Knights 2-3 times a battle. 11) Twin Dragonriders - see above. They get a backwards kick to prevent flanking abuse, and will also attempt to surround you once both are on the ground. 12) Medusa - already a decent boss, but probably could spellcast more and buff herself magically once she's sufficiently wounded. 13) Guardian Dragon - it has a cool area, but I REALLY dislike bosses that will willingly come down into your range of attacks for no reason. Like, why wouldn't it just cling to a wall forever? In fact, that's what I would have made it do, and it would only come down if you pelt it with spells or arrows enough to piss it off. For melee builds, there'll be a small ballista (I daresay...a scorpion?) nearby that you can bring into a boss room, which will wound it and bring it to the ground...but he'll quickly burn it, and probably not give you a chance to shoot, unless you also find a frost shield item for the ballista. It has higher defenses & better range of attacks on the ground as well. 14) Scorpioness - much stronger defenses unless hit in the human body, will instantly stab at the player with a corresponding pincer if they are close enough to touch that side's legs. (I feel like that would be reflex for her at that point). May cast a magic shield at range to deal with ranged attack abuse. 15) The Rotten - already a pretty good boss. Perhaps make those small human arms he uses for movement also lash out at the player weakly, only hitting if they stop moving and just attack? 16) The Old Iron King - honestly, this guy sucks. He needs a second stage, but I'm not sure what should it be. Perhaps his initial health is reduced, but then, you simply cut one of his arms off instead of killing him, but this also makes him weaker and cools much of the lava? The area then becomes a bit bigger, but he also attacks faster, and spews pyromancy from the severed arm? 17) Chariot - actually a really cool idea. Perhaps a few buffs for the 2nd stage? 18) The Pursuer - will start destroying the Ballistae after being hit with them once. 19 - 20) Aldia and Vendrick both have pretty good reasons for being the way they are, so don't really need changes. (Maybe a couple extra spells for Aldia?) 21) Royal Rat Authority - number of toxic rats is halved to two, but two more are summoned halfway through. It can also evade some attacks through rearing on its hind legs at the right time and striking down, and will cancel frontal attacks if you attack a hind leg to kick you with it. Thoughts?
Dark souls 2 was my first souls game I played I couldn't believe I had to fight the pursurer boss early on just starting I was stuck for like a week untill I figured out you had to roll right away from his rush attack lol
Lightning rapier (and lightning in general) is so op in dark souls 2. Even after they nerfed it 😂. I advised against using lightning or the games difficulty is cut kind of in half, At least in my experience.
@@marcpuccala3374 lightning rapier. One of the best early/full game build you can do in DS2 and is very much viable until you get a decent build that you really want. Really great for early game. You literally get it in Majula and just buy it from the merchant there.
The lead up the the demon of song really elevates the tension, and then you realize you can beat him in like 3 minutes on your first time ever fighting him
Ah, Vendrick. A somewhat challenging boss. Unless, of course, you stay behind his left leg and he suddenly becomes nothing more than a damage sponge.. Seriously, staying behind legs is the bane of so many Dark Souls bosses.
Demon of Song isn't easy, it's not hard, but it's most certainly not easy either. Flexile Sentry isn't either, but the Lost Sinner I actually found quite easy, even without the light turned on, yet she's not here.
I died to the Demon of Song once because I tried tanking him with a greatshield, didn't work out. The second time, however, with a lot more maneuverability I killed it, it's extremely easy, the worst part is the run-up to the boss for me, I despise the Amana Shrine Maidens, the lack of movement in the water and the fact that you have about 4 of them shooting homing soul arrows at you at once was stressful to me. The Flexile Sentry is very easy, just stick to his sides and roll through his attacks and bingo! You've pretty much killed it already. I agree on the Lost Sinner though, I used the blocking strategy, complete pushover.
Marcin Bohdziewicz I nearly beat Flexile Sentry during my first try but I died because I tried to heal at the worst time possible when he'd have died from a single hit anyways. Sentry was pretty easy
I feel like the direction you choose to go in the game really determines how easy each boss is. I’d say playing as a sorcerer, the sentinel was way easier than the dragon rider.
#22 Vendrick, Vendrick was definitely my favorite boss of dark souls 2. When I played it the first time I fought him with only a few Giant souls so it took FOREVER to win. And it was a raw ultraggreatsword. Which was absolutely riveting! Giant King, Giant sword, vs me with Giant sword. Freaking grade A+!
+Funni Skele yeh it's one of those things where it just gets stuck though, not sure what I originally called him but that's stuck ahha. At least I don't say smaw or smoth
Yeah I called him ornsteen mistakenly for a while too because some people say it could be german but coincidentally I'm now learning german and that wouldn't even be correct pronunciation in german or english.
+FawkesMuldarr yes you are lol. not trying to be sarcastic. boss was easy as hell brotha and that seems to be the general consensus. buuuut this dude i met on ds2sotfs on ps4 asked me to coop him against the rotten.....he died every god damn time until i made up an excuse to leave lol. beating the giants beneath the statue floor was harder than rotten
+theDeModcracy Did you use the bonfire that's blocked off by the petrified statue? From there, hugging the right wall, you only need to break your way through about five or six statues, and I was able to get to the rotten without being poisoned quite easily. Getting through black gulch overall was a pain though.
the funny thing is that i didnt even notice that until i tried to COOP because my friend kept looking for my sign over there lol. the hardest part of the rotten for me was having to run to iron keep and buy a branch to open the bonfire i had missed xD whoops lol
+Ishan Desai This time around I did, but my first time I had no idea it was there! I actually found it this time by accident when looking for the drop to the giants. Thanks for the tip though!
I will never forget my first encounter with the Covetous Demon. Entered the arena, took no damage, and kind of sat their in disbelief for a second. I took a clip and it took me about 50 seconds to beat, including entering the fog door and the ‘victory achieved’ text. The easiest boss in the series for me, and is memorable because of that.
Yea I played dark souls 2 about 4 years ago and this video is a nostalgia hit. I do agree that pretty much all the bosses are too easy, especially after playing dark souls 1. I can see why 2 is the black sheep of the trilogy.
I didn't even knew there was a lever to pull in executionor i fight him head on like a maniac and when his health drops to 25 persentage he was hanging on a hole on the ground 😂
This video was great until you said “all you have to do is strafe, roll and punish”. That is quite literally almost _every boss in the Dark Souls franchise._ Don’t get me wrong, DS2 has some god awful bosses, but just saying “you strafe, roll, and punish” can be said for most all bosses.
"Ranking the Dark Souls 2 bosses from easiest to hardest.... while using one of the most OP weapons and with a highly leveled character." I feel like this list should have absolutely considered the first time you came across it. I'm not saying base the list off the first impression but to have at least added comments on how that affected people along side the strategies that may or may not have made the battle easier.
Pareidolia 1) THIS IS A POLL, HE DIDNT MAKE IT THE RANKINGS. IT WAS VOTED ON BY PEOPLE WHO PLAYED THIS GAME. 2) he used the Estoc and Lightning so he could breeze through the bosses and get the footage he needed quickly. And he’s also played the game numerous times before hand.

to be honest, when i did my first ng+7 CoC this dude 2 shot me (Covetous demon) but i died 0 times to blue smelter. If you underestimate him in higher ngs he can actually 2-3 hit you with his slam attack
I do think Covetous Demon is a joke, but bro. He can one shot you if you're too cocky. I got really cocky once and got one shotted by his role attack.
Same
Covetus demon should be #41. I've died more to the congregation if only because of having to deal with multiple enemies at once.
Congregation can be pretty dangerous. If you get too careless, you'll get slaughtered in a second.
Covetus demon can be killed pretty easily by someone who's never played a game before. I've seen toddlers take him out first try

executioner's chariot was a great fight
It was pretty unique.

Agreed
Personally, anyone who uses a rapier or estoc doesn't have any say about difficulty
love you, just, love you
its not like this game is really hard though lol
people like you who bitch about rapiers make me sick. i bet you cried about the golf swing too lol.
How do you get the Yellow glowing weapons he used i am new to dark souls and have only beaten a few bosses (Dragonrider,The Last Giant,Dragonslayer, The Presuer) pls tell me i am using the Brodsword 3+ at the moment
CactusCubing thx what do you thing should i get it or are there better things ?
I've never fallen into Old Iron King's hole. Bow before me, peasants.
Jeromss God?
Same.
Same
So who will be bowing
How many times have you beat him?
In defense of Old Dragonslayer's lack of difficulty, remember that he's an early game boss wheras Ornstein and Smough were the climax of Dark Souls and meant to be a true test of skill. Old Dragonslayer does a good job of teaching inexperienced souls players the importance of properly timed rolls, in comparison to the bosses prior to him (Last Giant and Dragonrider) really only requiring simple strafing with the occasional lazy roll out of harm's way.
+Quick Man The Climax of Dark Souls? Since when is the mid-way point the climax?
I didn't know halfway through the game is the climax.
+Char Aznable peak in quality, not progress. The OP made it seem like he meant the end of the game, not how good the game was.
+Char Aznable I posted my comment before they posted that comment. How can't you see that? Smh
that moment when you realize that I died to most of the bosses in here
WolfeBane me too, still fun tho
Twat Pot I played ds1, 3 and I recently started 2 and Don't be ashamed of dying to any of the bosses in this list, I'm a pretty ^skilled^ ds player and on your first playtrough every boss can be hard
Jigzey tru, I got way better after 2 and I beat 3 and bloodborne. now I gotta kill the Orphan of Kos...
We all start some where. DS1 was my first souls game, and I died to Pinwheel's clone after I killed the prime one. They are fun games, but the more you play this kind of game, the better you get.
Malakai C. Well I died to ali of then
I am such a lore slave that I have never been bothered by the level of difficulty of the boss. I've always liked to look for a story behind each of them.
Royal Rat Authority is the Capra Demon of DS2.
Annoying and easy to kill?
@@lumethecrow2632 If you don't kill it's backup immediately it's easily overwhelming and very lethal, but once you do it's simple to take down
Fighting the Capra Demon Dogs with Great Grey Wolf Sif
@Nemanja Mitric holding a torch makes freja easy though, the spider enemies run away from the torch.on the other hand, i don't think there's a similar trick for rat authority
Capra is worse, in my opinion. You have to kill him to move forward, unlike RRA, which is optional boss.
About the Exetutioner's Chariot:
This may sound wierd but I like the Executioner's Chariot fight.
About the Royal Rad Vanguard:
I think this whole fight would have been so much better without the boss' lifebar. It was over in a second.
that fight was not hard but it was an awesome idea. I disagree with this guy on so much.

+CidGuerreiro1234 I farmed souls from killing unlimited rats it gives a lot of souls.
Storm Mee Didn't think about that, lol.

Use the soul appease miracle and you can finish the fight in 10 seconds.
I think Pursuer is the toughest one for new players since he's attacks are fast and devastating and your health and stamina aren't that great. I probably died 30+ times to him alone before I timed the ballista perfectly.
well uh, okay, uh, alright....I'll take your word for it. His attacks are totally not telegraphed at all......
He said new players
but after you learn how to play against him, and that LITERALLY all you have to do is DODGE RIGHT he becomes impossible to die to. especially with the sheer amount of experience that you can get fighting him several times over the course of the game
Varun Sharma the good thing is that you can get the drangleic shield and armor set after defeating him and FOR the games beginning those are pretty useful mostly FOR Me since souls 2 was the first one in the series that i played
I beat him my second ever try, I used the ballista
Almost all of these fights you say “once you’re familiar with them.”
How do you get familiar with them?
By dying to them?
Making them actually difficult?
Or by playing multiple playthroughs, at which point difficulty is irrelevant?
By dying to them. That's how you play Dark Souls. By dying.

skootdiggity I know what you mean mate
I personally like Dark Souls 2 and its bosses (apart from the gank squad) and this guy just a seems whiny that some bosses aren't difficult
He can't say how difficult some of these bosses are because he uses Estoc against them
Lonefalloutwolf he's done more runs than just his rapier one....
Lonefalloutwolf exactly all he does is use the rapier but complains it's too easy smh
Lonefalloutwolf I killed the vast majority of these bosses easily without ever touching a rapier or Estoc.
DeMod is right these bosses just suck ass.
Is it bad that I’ve gotten all my run through knowledge of this game from happy souls

I successfully ignored happy souls until I finished the game. It is indeed a very good summary of DS2
Not at all, I was confused myself my first play through. Helped me get to no mans wharf
Happy souls is a pretty nice highlight reel of the same
No, its good
the moment I fell in love with the Pursuer was when I tried to cheese him off the edge but he just floated there and I mumbled "son of a bitch"
"Does it live up to that fight?
Absolutely not,"

cchdz Oh, dear. You are correct, how embarrassing.
The hardest boss is a pack of mob together.
The Demon of song is an easy boss BUT it has one of the best boss design in DS2. For me the Single best boss fight in DS2 is Darklurker because even getting to fight him is challenge. He or she, should have been the final boss.
Yeah, but it's not fair to waste a human effigy every time
like written above Darklurker is not the biggest challenge if you are able to wield the gyrm shield and dark knight set. his sword attack is actually a dark spell attack so you can lower its damage extremly und gyrm shield does the rest. even when both of them hit you with theire melee the same time you have nothing to fear when you are prepared.
But shields are trash.
@derp derpin they are tf
Damn, what's up with that damage, every boss is down with just a couple of hits 🤔
This guy plays with the most op setup.
Rapier is op
If you use a good weapon that scales properly with the stats you wanna use youre gonna breeze through this game

"I'm a Great Mighty Poo"
10/10
I think that many of these bosses would be pretty good if they just had a second stage, and a few other buffs. Something like:
1) Prowling Magus and Congregation - as soon as the fight begins, he buffs the entire congregation with Dark, so that they are faster and deal more damage.
6) Royal Rat Vanguard's rats would be a lot scarier if their AI specifically knew how to split in half and surround you at all costs, and never wander mindlessly like some rats do at 4:54
7) Demon of Song - after you exploit his opening after an arm attack once or twice, he'll immediately jump backwards after doing it (i.e. right when you roll away) and then shoot at you.
(Maybe a couple extra spells for Aldia?)
21) Royal Rat Authority - number of toxic rats is halved to two, but two more are summoned halfway through.
What build is he using in this video
@@marcpuccala3374 lightning rapier. One of the best early/full game build you can do in DS2 and is very much viable until you get a decent build that you really want. Really great for early game. You literally get it in Majula and just buy it from the merchant there.
I recommend Lightning in DS2, cuz the game is so fkn janky, anything helps
The lead up the the demon of song really elevates the tension, and then you realize you can beat him in like 3 minutes on your first time ever fighting him

Ah, Vendrick. A somewhat challenging boss. Unless, of course, you stay behind his left leg and he suddenly becomes nothing more than a damage sponge.. Seriously, staying behind legs is the bane of so many Dark Souls bosses.
... so thats why there were "left leg" messages in the boss room
Demon of Song isn't easy, it's not hard, but it's most certainly not easy either. Flexile Sentry isn't either, but the Lost Sinner I actually found quite easy, even without the light turned on, yet she's not here.
Demon of song should had been ranked number one easiest boss in this game. Tf u mean
Honestly watching these videos have helped give me the hope of beating these games

I haven’t died to the skeleton lords, but my heart dropped when I accidentally killed all 3 in rapid succession and was immediately fusterclucked
I thought that's how the fight was supposed to go lmaooo. Kill the 3 guys, get gangbanged by the rest
I feel like the direction you choose to go in the game really determines how easy each boss is. I’d say playing as a sorcerer, the sentinel was way easier than the dragon rider.
I know the old iron king is easy, but it still feels epic
#22 Vendrick, Vendrick was definitely my favorite boss of dark souls 2. When I played it the first time I fought him with only a few Giant souls so it took FOREVER to win. 12:22 "The second fight of the phase"
2 is straight up, one of my favorite games of all time.
Am I the only one who found The Rotten to be difficult?
+FawkesMuldarr I didn't find him to challenging, the run up to him on the other hand...
Am I the only one who thinks that the Covetous Demon and the Royal Rat Authority are kinda cute?
+Lord Zylok Haha, I'll take Jabba and the Authority, but screw his little rat buddies!
+Lord Zylok Yes, in a...you look intimdating but you aren't sort of way, so you're fun to play with xD
+theDeModcracy i love your Videos
I will never forget my first encounter with the Covetous Demon. Entered the arena, took no damage, and kind of sat their in disbelief for a second. I took a clip and it took me about 50 seconds to beat, including entering the fog door and the ‘victory achieved’ text. The easiest boss in the series for me, and is memorable because of that.
If I’m gonna be honest, Executioner’s Chariot was the most fun boss fight in the game to me and my friend.
when i saw covetous demon: HOLY CRAP IT'S A PUG SLUG!!!
Ein riesiges Dankeschön für diesen Walkthrough! Wir sehen uns in DS3 😊
I watched this three times and still don’t know why... still an enjoyable vid and fun to look back at DS2... I guess that might be why 😅
Yea I played dark souls 2 about 4 years ago and this video is a nostalgia hit. I do agree that pretty much all the bosses are too easy, especially after playing dark souls 1. I can see why 2 is the black sheep of the trilogy.
@@StabStabStabStabby DS3 is pretty easy as well
Idk if I agree with this list haha some of the “hardest bosses” I breezed through while the “easier ones” I sucked at lol
I didn't even knew there was a lever to pull in executionor i fight him head on like a maniac and when his health drops to 25 persentage he was hanging on a hole on the ground 😂
This video was great until you said “all you have to do is strafe, roll and punish”. That is quite literally almost _every boss in the Dark Souls franchise._ Don’t get me wrong, DS2 has some god awful bosses, but just saying “you strafe, roll, and punish” can be said for most all bosses.
ornstien died in ds3 thats why you get his armor so him being in all three of the games is cool
Not tryna be that person but if u didn’t know ornstiens actually a girl
I don't care and you never really find out ornstein gender so the say ornstein is Male
daniel mckenna i thought smough was the female one
A hole
@@Khaled-bd1pl same?
Congratulations on 306K subs you are amazing
Good old Dank Souls 2. Enter poison area with windmill tower. Climb windmill tower and take lift. Exit lift. FUCKING LAVA EVERYWHERE.
yes that part never made any sense... however i rly like the iron castle and the dlc
Pursuer and smelter demon are my fav bosses in all game
why ?
CAUSE THEY MADE ME GIT GUD (learn to roll instead of hide behind a shield :P)
Why not both
It seems like you're implying that using a shield makes you a bad player. Are you HBomberguy?
@@TheSlammurai idk what that is but yes that's exactly what i am implying
Challenge accepted (proceeds to stand still and only parry)
@@Sheenulus *sekiro gameplay intensifies*
I'm going to admit. The Royal Rat Vanguard I died to 30 times because this was my first Dark Souls Game. :P
12:17 The first fight of this phase.
On the chariot part.
First fight of the phase
Second fight of the phase, sounds so wrong.
Cheers bro thanks for that it was a fun watch :)
"Ranking the Dark Souls 2 bosses from easiest to hardest.... while using one of the most OP weapons and with a highly leveled character."
I feel like this list should have absolutely considered the first time you came across it.
And he’s also played the game numerous times before hand.
like your vids, but estocs and rapiers are for vaginal cavities
Estoc is Bestoc
+Alex Espinoza Wrong game, Dark Souls 2 is Ice Rapier's neighbourhood.
DovahSpy I know I'm speaking for Dark Souls 3
Why is it always the guys with those virgin anime avatars to come up with retarded comments?
Avinash Deo what about his twin Blade?
Dragon rider doesn’t say “nooooo” he says ROBERTTTTTTTTTTTT
next time try covenant of champions
YOU SAID "fight of the phase" @ 12:22!
