    that's stil (a lot of) sugar. it really doesn't matter to the body what kind of sugar it is, it's treated the same. but still healthyer than mosy coockies

    • @themonk1738
      @themonk1738 5 років тому +25

      the 'kind of sugar' does matter to your body. Dextrose, fructose, galactose and sucrose all react differently in the body, impacting blood sugar levels in different ways. Furthermore, the sugar in this recipe is being consumed with a lot of fat - which slows down the digestive process and how quickly sugar is absorbed into the blood stream.

    Ok the way my southern mama makes these is a cup sugar, a cup Jiffy, and 1 egg. Roll the balls in sugar before you fork them flat. Bake at 350 degrees until they’re done, less time if you like soft cookies and more if you like crumbly. Not healthy but if you’re looking for a tasty and easy cookie they are so amazing

    I've made these before, only with sugar, egg & peanut butter. The recipe I used was, 1 egg, 1 cup of sugar, and one cup of peanut butter. It was suggested as a great diabetic biscuit and I thought would be great for my dad. My oven is terrible, as it cooks half of what ever I'm cooking more than the other. These cookies were good but I found them very much like eating a mouth full of peanut butter. Very pastey, maybe it's just me, any advice would be great!!!
