Dwayne Curtis, me too. After several Lexus vehicles as well. I will still keep my 2000 LS 400 though. Best car in the universe I've ever owned, nothing yet to match it!
Another exceptional job on your review of this great car guys! Love the G90!! You guys HAVE to get your hands on a 2020 G90 and do a review on it. This model year was an excellent one. The 2020 will leave you guys practically speechless! Looking forward to the review of the 2020 G90. Have a great day guys and thanks again!
Lauren - it is a year later but... you touched on all the points I did. Your balance on the presentation was perfect. The demographic group being targeted in North America would be I imagine me...you probably know what that looks like--- 60ish, financially ok, not looking for a limousine but those back seat features are nice. I just did the test drive here in Edmonton... a good testing ground in terms of road conditions, weather extremes. It wasn't the coldest day for a test drive, but I must say after having driven probably every competitor vehicle over the past year, I love this vehicle with the V8. I also have to say that I will most likely buy the G90 with the V8. Why--- the customer/sales experience. I have been to all the local dealers--- the same old line...you know how it goes! We always come back to price. I feel this is a more than fair value and i am placing trust (naively, i hope not) that the reliability will match the tactile feel for the G90. If I can circumvent the sleazy, car sales tactics used in every old school dealership-- which is almost all of them and go to a relatively fixed price, professional delivery, I will go with Genesis. Valet service - thank you! The service elements are the key to my business: valet delivery, service! YES! The car itself - you touched on it all. German standards all the way. A good, solid feel. Some features lacking--- please Genesis, tweek it up slightly and it is a slam dunk for me!!! The things that would bring it to a total package would be: 1. remote car start- we are in Canada. 2. a winter wheel package-- include it with the V8, we want, need all-wheel drive- we are in Canada. 3. android car play--= not a big deal to me, but it would be nice. 4. Massaging seats - tried them, not a deal breaker. 5. Sun roof - it is adequate for me... not a deal breaker because it is smaller than lincoln's. Price/ features. Looking forward to my new G90!
Victor Spicer : How is your G90?! I'd love to hear detailed information on your purchase of this phenomenal car. I have the 2014 Equus Signature and it rides like a dream. It was in the showroom when I feel in love with it! I plan to upgrade to the G90 in two years for my 50th birthday! Enjoy, Lisa.
great review really debating about this or one of the german models. Where is the chat you show comparing cars and what is standard and optional dont see a link for it.
I test drove an Equus in 2015 before buying an Infiniti Q70L. It all came down to price, Hyundai had zero incentives and I couldn't justify the gap, especially considering the resale value implications. It was a helluva car, the Genesis line is no joke.
im thinking of replacing my aging 2008 Infiniti M35x. ive look into the Q70(beautiful machine) and its not even close compare to the G90. I wish Infiniti would step up their game and make a proper full size luxury sedan and not stretch the Q70 and call it a day.
Paul Brian has the most beautiful voice. I would be happy just sitting down and hearing him read a dictionary out loud. He should be the male version of Siri, if they ever decide to go that way.
A nice thorough review. Although Genesis is starting from zero cachet (perhaps possibly negative cachet given their origins with Hyundai?), I suspect if they continue to deliver quality vehicles like this, they'll quickly grow in reputation. My prediction is that they'll easily overtake Acura and Infiniti, soon match Lexus. Catching the German marques? Not as easily but if they continue to blend driveability with luxury, they'll turn the heads of prospective BMW buyers. It will be fascinating to see the launch of the G70 and other models in the next few years and I'll eagerly watch for your informative reviews! Thanks!
I am very impressed with this car. The reliability for the Equus has been very good so I assume it will be good in the G90 as well. I am torn between buying this and a Lexus LS.
Nice job. Some of the video you used had lcd monitors in the back seat similar to the equus ultimate but it doesn't seem that is going to be an option on cars for the US market? Is that you understanding?
Yeah, you're right. Lauren and I have in-car spats on that, too. She'll say "That's 50 'kims' down the road" and I'll come back with "You mean 50 clicks, right?" But she speaks fluent Buffalo-ese and I'm still saddled with ingrained Army nomenclature. Personally I like being in Canada cuz I weigh far fewer kg than I do pounds. I would have measured in "stone" but that'd just be my head. Thanks for watching! Tell your friends and neighbors, ok?
At the end of the day, Hyundais advantage was giving you a good if not equal product to the competition, for a better price. I think over the years Hyundai has been inching up and up, they are not a joke, and no one looks crooked at you... now that the Hyundai name has been removed, and replaced with Genesis, it will be interesting to watch if they will remain EQUAL to the competition, with a better price, or if some day, they will expect the same money. Kind of like what became of Lexus, in that I do not think anyone shops for a Lexus in order to save money compared to MB or BMW.
The Koreans are putting a lot into their Genesis adventure and I would not want to be the one betting against them.
Thanks for an honest review. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'm watching this video at home in bed with my sunglasses on, just so I fit in with you guys...
You guys are great.
I like my Genesis 4.6 v8
Great power, more at fuel mileage on trips.
Smart money buys Genesis.
Happy motoring.
We also love the G80 Sport
Great,honest,down to earth reviews. Great!
Great team review....as always!! Thx!
"we don't put kids in the trunk...because we'd get caught" great review 🤣
Great review. I own a Lexus GS now but thinking of going up a notch with this car. Can't wait to test drive one in New Jersey!

i own a 2008 Infiniti M35 and i'm thinking of getting one of these bad boy Genesis in the future too lol
Pricing --- MSRP :$68,100
Sound comes back at around 2:50.

great review, keep up the good work.
You guys have excellent chemistry. I love you all presentation, but you guys need to further develop your video filming and its clarity.

Controls look Audi A8-esque. Peter Schreyer influence?

Couple model confusions (g80 and g90) but solid review.
Until the first transition at 3:33 the video is inaudible. The sound is muffled. At 3:33 it is fine. I like your work and enjoy the videos. Thank you!
+Stephen Blank we will attempt to fix that
Intro music and text wisking onto screen works but no working audio after that.
+Jesse Parris we will check that- thanks
I am very impressed with this car. The reliability for the Equus has been very good so I assume it will be good in the G90 as well. I am torn between buying this and a Lexus LS.
Great review Lauren 👍🏻👏🏻. Which engine would u recommend the 5.0 or the 3.3T??
+Amer Habib I prefer the 5 L engine, Paul prefers the smaller engine
Lauren Fix what color is the car behind you?
Dark silver
Nice job. Some of the video you used had lcd monitors in the back seat similar to the equus ultimate but it doesn't seem that is going to be an option on cars for the US market? Is that you understanding?
+Forrest Smith they are available
Thanks
the g90 does have massaging seats lol they didn't find the button but nice review
I can hear road noise! How quiet is it really?
The vehicle is actually quite quiet that is our ultrasensitive microphones.
the picture quality is disturbing too shadowy and horrible but review is good
this will be in my garage
my left ear likes the audio
there is a middle seat belt so it is a 5-seater
60 miles, Paul. You're in Vancouver, don't you mean 100 km?
Yeah, you're right. Lauren and I have in-car spats on that, too. She'll say "That's 50 'kims' down the road" and I'll come back with "You mean 50 clicks, right?" Paul, neighbors in Canada adds a "u" for neighbours, eh?
I Will buy one!!!
That interior looks identical to the Lexus GS. Front end doesn't look much different to the Hyundai Elantra...
i've seen one up close in person. its a big impressive sedan and look nothing like any low end Hyundai.

98 degrees or 37°c.
Lauren, why the diss towards Tesla? I think you view Musk & Co. as a tech company, not an auto company, and I can't argue with you there.
That's the best car for me :)
beauty
lauren your pretty
+craig burey 😊
Show the car and not your face
This is terrible , not the best sound at all. 👎
