    Lauren, excellent honest and thoroughly done review. The word that I use for the G90 is "imposing". It's huge, powerful, but nicely styled. Is there much difference in acceleration between the twin-turbocharged V6 to the V8? I'm sure that the V8 Sounds better. 😉

      Thank you so much Daniel! This really is an “imposing” vehicle. Impressive in many ways. The V6 is more than powerful enough, but I’m a fan of a V-8 engine for more than just the sound.

    Another win from Genesis!! Old news... my 2017 Optima SXL asks me if I'd like directions to the nearest fuel station if I let my fuel level get that low...(rarely happens) Even my old thing has manual rear side shades I keep up all summer long! Planning a road trip to LA next week and looking forward to the 8+ hr drive! Thanks Lauren for your take!

    I MUCH prefer the look of the G80 (especially 2020 and older) and was wondering what does the G90 have as far as features and safety that I'd be missing in the G80? Thank you for another great video!

    Your comment about the 5.0 V8 engine feeling like it's struggling was interesting. My wife and I are trying to decide to get the G90 over a new Yukon Denali that has the 6.2 V8 in that. These engines make the same amount of horsepower but I know the truck makes more torque. Since we can't buy both, I'm starting to lean towards the Genesis. We have been Hyundai owners before and currently own a 3.8 Hyundai Genesis sedan. I guess I will have to test drive these vehicles back to back and see for myself. There are compromises between the two as for as reliability and space. But like I said, I'm leaning towards the Korean car more. Nice review!

    • @CarCoachReports
      @CarCoachReports  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you for your perspective. Genesis (Hyundai) has an excellent trac record on reliability. There have not been many reported complaints on the Yukon either. Check your insurance rates before you make a final decision. Let us know what you end up choosing.

    Great review! Thank you! But one pet peeve of mine.... it is not a center “council” or “counsel.” It’s center console, pronounced “con-sole.” I lease a 2018 G90 5.0 AWD. They made the 2020 even nicer!

    Sharp car, I imagine those rims protect your brake discs as well, so maybe you get a bit more life out of them. That said...I'd hate to detail that grille and those rims!!

    • @CarCoachReports
      @CarCoachReports  4 роки тому +1

      This is a great looking car. The rims would be very difficult to clean, however it’s about design in this particular case. The best way to get the most life out of your brakes is to get ventilation, in this case the wheels restrict ventilation, so I’m not sure it helps the brake pad life whatsoever.

    A wonderful, honest, thorough and entertaining review on one of the ugliest cars on the road. Somewhere there’s a pizzeria that’s missing four of its pans. And DC Comics’ legal department wants to have a word with Genesis’ use of Superman’s shield. There are at least four other carmakers with the same logo. 👎

    No more Korean cars .🚗👎
    It's so expensive now than before. 💵💵💵💵💵💵
    There is no cause to be expensive like German cars .
    In 2021, I think it will be the worst year for this company ( H & K ) .
    People don't have have a lot of money . They think before buy cars or anything expensive on these days .
    In 2021, Chinese cars are coming soon with excellent quality and lower price than any company, of course with all sizes ( sedan, suv or truck cars )
    Believe that .👍🚘🚗⛟🚙🚌👍

    • @CarCoachReports
      @CarCoachReports  4 роки тому +3

      Khnight Dark sadly, we have seen the Chinese cars and they are far from impressive. Byton (Chinese) has suspended production. Cars are being produced, sold and Korean cars are being made here as well. This gives the US jobs and gives growth to cities like Westpoint, GA. The German still make impressive cars, many produced her in the USA. VWs are being made in Chattanooga, TN. There are no tariffs on those vehicles. Friday we will post a video with all the best incentives and lease deals available for July 2020. Check it out.
