Hey, I have a question: When did Beam Technology become advanced enough that Beam Spray Guns were replaced with Beam Rifles (Basically when is the latest UC date that Beam Spray Guns weren't considered outdated beyond use)?
I think beam spray guns were mainly used as a cost-saving measure early on. The focusing coil in a beam rifle is very expensive early on, and it was much cheaper to make a shorter one, hence the spray guns being much more proliferate. By Zeta Gundam, the GM II had a beam rifle, after all.

I really like your vids and I may sound like a broken record, but the Gerbera is not a Katana, it is a Tachi. This is why it is worn with the "ha" down and a Katana is worn with the cutting edge up. It is stated in the manual of the PG Red Frame and one can notice that it is not curved and a lot longer as a Katana. A Tachi was used by horse back samurai, the main reason it is longer. For a person knowing so much of Japanes culture, I thought you knew this, but one can not know all. Maybe just refer to it as a "sword" 😉
Red and Blue frame where initially found by Lowe with Gai being sent to recover them both. Lowe would let Gai keep the Blue frame after the laters employer betrayed him and Gai used the Blue frame to protect the rest of the Junk Guild. Gold and Green Frame where recovered by the Sahaku's with Gold piloted by Gina and then later Mina. Mina would give Green frame to Barry Ho with it being assembled by Lowe. The final unit is the Mirage Frame which ended up with the Liberians somehow and was piloted by the clone of Ghina.

Props for Japanese generic power of friendship speeches and major props for Astray lore! Always fun to hear about some Gundam Astray stuff along with what happened in canon. Fits so well.
Hey, I have a question: When did Beam Technology become advanced enough that Beam Spray Guns were replaced with Beam Rifles
(Basically when is the latest UC date that Beam Spray Guns weren't considered outdated beyond use)?
I think beam spray guns were mainly used as a cost-saving measure early on. The focusing coil in a beam rifle is very expensive early on, and it was much cheaper to make a shorter one, hence the spray guns being much more proliferate. By Zeta Gundam, the GM II had a beam rifle, after all.
Basicly think of them as stamp steel guns, cheap functional but low quality
@@matohibiki And 1st gen GM was meant to quick mass-produced, so "cheap-arse" beam spray gun suitable for this condition. Another beam riffle beside that RX-78-2 used already exist, but they always utilized by more better spec ms than standard GM, i.e. : Ground type Gundam, Ez8, RX-78-4/5/6, and Blue Destiny 2/3.
@@seabookarno1664 Good points. Don't forget the beam 'sniper' rifle the Guncannons used.
With this information that would also provide some information and explanation on ORB-01 Akatuski ( Since it share with same frame as strikes and with the golden shiny beam reflective armor equal around 20 M1 Astray........ The two types weapons pack on ORB-01.......) We know ORB-01 Akatuki developed during CE 71 First Bloody Valentine's War "borrowed" from the GAT-X 105 strike frame......and we also know it's weapons, armor, those two weapons packs are still incomplete at the end of the 1st Bloody Valentine's war. Also, the development of five G-weapons, the Atlantic Federation are having technology to develop beam weaponry ....
It would be AWESOME if you did Gundam lore on the Testament Gundam/Gundam Astray Out Frame from the Gundam Seed Astray Manga and the MHF-01Ω Gundam Lord Astray Ω from Gundam Seed Astray princess of the sky manga. Keep up the awesome work man!!
@kakarot197 I have a question for q and a videos. How come the titans never used the other gundam mark lls didn't they have 2 more other than the one the aueg stole. It seemed to be a strong suit for the aeug for the first half of zeta. Thanks.
Because the AEUG stole all three. They only kept one while the other two were sent to Anaheim Electronics to be dismantled and studied.
@@reeseolsen4052 really i was sure they only got 2 the one Kamielle was in and the one Apolloy and him carried out with Jared in the 3 one stuck in the building. Maybe I need to rewatch the beginning its been awhile

It is not every day that your broken weapon becomes a magical plot device and saves your life with a parry. That Mobile Suit sized katana really is loyal.
You still need to make a video on the development of the astray gundams
This makes me think about the Seed Movie with the Sahaku family being the villain in it. If the Gundam Seed Movie would be a retelling version of Endless Waltz.
Except it never happened and Mina had a change of heart in destiny astray and later in princess of the sky
so the Sahaku's are like the Cosmic Era equivalent of the Zabi family? also what happened to the 5th Astray Gundam after the destruction of Heliopolis?
Recovered by a group called "Librarian Works", who rebuilt it from the ground up into Mirage Frame.
So, now I'm curious about red frame Kai, and red dragon. Would you do a video covering those?
Kakarot's flexing with his japanese!!!
Maybe just refer to it as a "sword" 😉
i really wish they would just adapt the Astray series into an actual TV series
I don't think sunrise will make them into anime, just like crossbone
@@daffamaulana3655 hahaha and both are popular enough to appear on GB F/N
2 44 Did you get that from the game
5 08 Lowe is as lucky as Kira
how were all astrays stolen, and how did they lamded on the hands of ther respective pilots
This is Gundam Seed remember, Gundams are as easy to steal as any car in GTA.
@@ramiuschun9288 Green Frame also had a pilot, his name was Trojan Noiret. He even battled with Gai during a war against guerrillas in Africa.
@@goufr3540 GP02A and Gundam MKII says hello.

So, are they SEED’s Zabi family?
Technically, yes. But rondo mina sahaku (the sister) was later allied herself with junk guild. So, it was nes
@@far5527 Mfw the Astray Manga does a way better way of world building and story telling than SEED/SEED Destiny. Although that base where everyone popped like bubbles was pretty metal.
that was an over-the-top otaku/weebo outro, ahaha
Heh I don't care, it's entertainment
Does anyone have a suggestion for a cloth I am working on a lupus rex but it would turned into something like a exia repair.
The full fight of Red Frame and Gold Frame was shown in one of the cut scene of Generation of CE Game but its in Japanese
So Gina piloted the Gold Amatsu but it was renamed/rebuilt as the Amatsu Mina once Mina herself became the pilot? Okay, now i know. But who pilots the white Amatsu Mina?
Also the music at 6:39 is what's used when you get a draw in Battle Operation 2.
There are 2 Gold Frames with white outer armor. The Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Hana was piloted by Kazahana Aja and Lath Winslet. Later developed into Astray Gold Frame Amaterasu, piloted by Lath Winslet. The Amaterasu had an independent back-mounted unit that Kazahana was supposed to be the pilot of, but I haven't seen the manga so idk if she actually got to pilot it.
Both of them were selected by Mina as her successors. Both are protagonists in Gundam Astray Princess of the Sky manga. Kazahana had been present in earlier Astray mangas too. It wasn't shown in the anime, but she was even present in Morgenroete when the Archangel was being repaired, I think it was during season 1 (not sure).
Okay, I talked too much already.
@@SoulstrikerV Nah it's fine, you were being informative so thank you. ^_^

Wait, from the fandom, rondo minsa sahaku also allies with the junk guild. Then, why she really want to continue his brother's plan?
She continued on her own ways, the final goal was to turb the orb union into the dominant power after all.

They kind of remind me of Anaheim electronics but more evil .
Wait, MORE evil than Anaheim, which kept selling mobile suits to Zeon derivatives through several conflicts, knowing they'd likely be used to help make colony drops happen?
@@matohibiki well Anaheim just seem more like war profiteers than an actual force
And as story progressed, ORB didn't fall into evil faction because Mina have different approach than Ghina.
So after this did Lowe make the 150 gerbera straight and power loader?
yeah, after the battle with Gina where Gerbera Straight was destroyed he went to the PLANT Graveyard where Gerbera was originally forged in the repair it. During the time there, he also used the massive meteorite that he found to create the 150 Gerbera. And then later on, after joining the Three Ships Alliance and seeing the METEOR unit in action, he was inspired to create the Power Loader.
Who's piloting the gold frame mina or gina?
During the first part of the BVW, it's Gina, but since he uh, died, after the battle between the 3 original Astrays, Mina took over and became the main pilot of the Gold Frame.
Sound similar to something can't quite remember I think it's Belkin........😏
I'm curious, does anyone know a good site to read the astray mangas or can English versions be bought? They have such a rich story to them I want to read but I can't find anywhere that does an online English version or sells English copies
Is it Mina Sahaku help Freedom escape during Cagalli Yula Athha Wedding with Jona ??And the Sahaku family are Coordinator......
Mmm i thought mina gave up on the orb will rule everyhing mindset.
Seed: where every faction is basically Fascists.
More like greedy power to conquer spacenoid and Earth, it's simple soldier only just pawn for political liberation
a great story but seem's everyone denies it😔😔
Too bad they didn't manage to copy the phase shift. That thing was game changer on MS durability.
They now about it. But I think lowe didn't use it cause phase shift drain battery too fast. He even use garbera cause of the same reason.
anyone know what game the goldframe footage from in 3:46?
Never Ending Tomorrow. PS2
Shame that trying to read the Astray series is impossible if you're not willing to shill out a ton of money and unable to read Japanese.
You can by the translated Astray mangas online. (Astray, Astray R, and X Astray) You can also read the other Astray manga online. (Destiny Astray, Frame Astray, and Delta Astray)
Seed really overvalues its katanas. That's the impression I'm getting. And Lowe is an idiot for counting on just some physical swords and nothing else. Besides, it's the far future. Recharges and refuels should be MUCH cheaper than maintaining and replacing a giant fuckoff sword!
The katana way better, no need energy from mobile but gundam stray red frame saber beam is too much eat energy only cause mobile suit run out energy
Wait it’s been a while since I’ve read n anything seed but couldn’t lose beating Gina be explained by the tactical arm’s thrusters making the red frame fast enough to get that hit in?
Hell... The broken weeb japanglish throw me off. Big time.
WHAT GAME WAS THAT ?
anime please sunrise
Destiny is poorly written and you cant change my mind
No one will disagree on that point. It's in essence why the CE hasn't seen any real continuation outside of written material and the sparse, but killer, OVAs..... and proper character realization in games lol
@@MaddJakd I've had people argue with me before about how shinn is a good charater and how the destiny plan makes perfect sense
Perhaps the worst part is that Shin the MC was completely sindlined in his own anime.
Well I will admit that DESTINY at its faults, but to me I think DESTINYs faults go back to SEED itself since there were some mishaps in the show (especially in the second half).
Seed astray is better than destiny
