This was a video idea I’ve been playing with for a long time and after the patreon poll decided on it, I went ahead and made it.
Let me know your scenarios!
Aguille Delaz already decided to withdrawal when he hear kycilia killed gihren, so unless his ship was destroyed due to the increase in firepower from the Alex (doubtful) there would have been a power struggle between he and the other gihren supporters and the kycilia supporters (much like what happened on the origin version of events, but it would have happened after the withdrawal / possibly at axis). So then you have 2 possibilities. The remnant zeon forces fight each other so much that it prevents them from rebelling in 0083 and forming the titans, or someone comes out on top and a similar thing ends up happening. I think if they weakened themselves, there would still be pockets of resistance everywhere and the titans would still be formed, but maybe in a more benign version like londe bell, preventing jamitov et al from coming to power?
What if char got the completed zeong ?
I always imagined it playing out closely to the anime but I had Char surviving because of the surprise of the Zeongs cockpit. The difference being the Alex having a lack of a core block system leading to Amuro having a harder time escaping A Baoa Qu and possibly not surviving.
For a possible future scenario (or even maybe this one) "What if Sayla remained an active pilot post OYW" just imagine the interactions between Amuro, Her and this new Quattro guy during Zeta.
I think char would have lived, due to the head trick with the zeong as well as him realizing that dying then and there would leave "certain" things unfinished and he would retreat like in the anime. Amuro would probably give chase and possibly corner char, but I think sayla might get involved at that point, and things would roughly go the same way they did with char dealing with kcyllia, but with amuro and sayla going and helping the white base.
The ultimate what if:
What if Bright never slapped anyone?
Then there would e no Bright Slap memes to oppose Rick James and Batman memes.
I mean in the original series it was more Ryu that motivated Amuro from what I remember.
@Shadow Vulcanus
Nah probably garma forces could have pull off destroying the white base when they arrived on earth
UC would not be the way it is. That bright slap changed the course of history forever.
@@wombosupreme6337 The slap heard 'round the world.
On the flip side, I would love to see “What if the Zeong was Painted Red”
,...or finally got it legs.
3x faster zeong? easy char aznable win
@@victorlacas6649 it’s pretty funny how obsessed with speed Char was, as though the thrust wouldn’t burst his eyes and crush his organs

War in the pocket 0080: what if it was all just a dream
The Zaku pilot, what happened to him?
He’s fine, not a scratch on him, he and Lieutenant Mackenzie are talking things out with some kid as we speak.
@@krism.6598 Yeah no burger os harmed
it would ruin one of the best gundam animes we got lol
I like to think that the Gundam Valhalla was in indeed Canon...cuz Bernie, Chris and Al were happily there
I think it's time for Sunrise to make What if series, just like Marvel, non-canon, but a great idea for fans to know any other possible scenarios that didn't happen in the canon
That moment you realize: Gundam 0080 was meant to explain "Why didn't Amuro get a more powerful mobile suit before the end of his series like others did? Kamille updated from the Gundam Mk-II to the Zeta, Judah updated from the Zeta to the ZZ, etc."
Even non UC Timeline Protags got upgrades. Heero upgraded to Wing Zero, while Domon got the God (Burning) Gundam
@@scottprice4955 Exactly. 0080 is meant to explain why Amuro never got one during Mobile Suit Gundam.
So I theorize that since Amuro was in the Alex to shoot down Char, meaning the following events will not occur:
- Zeta and Double Zeta
- Char's Counter Attack and Hathaway's Flash
- Gundam Unicorn and Narrative
While the following will occur:
- Amuor not becoming one with the Nu Gundam because CCA never occurred
- the Gundam Alex becoming the standard frame for Grunt type MS.
- A VERY altered version of Gundam Victory, F91 and Crossbone.
You still would have had Zeon remnants, and an incentive for the Federation to hunt them down. It's likely they would still regroup on Axis and bide their time there. I don't know if Haman Karn would have risen to power, but all the major player of the Gryps War would still have existed in a recognisable form.
The AEUG without Quattro would probably have faired quite differently, though.
@@mattb154 haman karn risen in power is highly doubtful, especially haman and Char used to love each other when Haman was very young. If Haman wasn't with Char. The story or Zeta would've drastically different. Especially how haman karn is during zeta and Double zeta.
Gato and the Delaz Fleet might still pull Operation Stardust and we still might get Zeta and ZZ out of it.
@@gato23 Unless Kycillia was captured and NOT executed, Operation Stardust would probably be much different or wouldn't happen at all, since the Zeon remnants would be too busy trying to rescue her from prison.
Zeta probably wouldn't happen regardless, but let's say Operation Stardust did happen. Even if the AEUG came to steal the new Gundams, they'd have two problems:
1. Char wouldn't be with them. Apolly and Roberto were decent pilots, but I doubt they'd achieve the same result without him.
2. The Gundam Mk.IIs would be based on the superior Alex and wipe the floor with the Rick Dias'
@@DarkButz Jamitov probably still would have orchestrated a way to form the Titans. It had less to do with actually hunting Zeon remnants, and more with Jamitov creating a private army that superceded the EFF rankings. He was one of the main reasons Operation Stardust succeeded. There would be some other problems as well during the Gundam MK II heist.
1. Char was the one that brought the Gundarium Gamma with him from Axis. Apolly and Roberto probably wouldn't have had the influence to acquire it and leave Axis with it. They may not have even left Axis at all.
2. The Rick Dias probably wouldn't even exist, so if they did still defect, they'd be attempting the heist in Galbaldy Betas at best. The heist without a doubt fails and the AEUG never recruits their greatest Ace, and is destroyed by the Titans. Because the AEUG never gains ground, Jamitov doesn't need to recruit and rely on Scirocco for aid, and he maintains control of the Earth Sphere with the Titans. Axis would not have nearly the forces necessary to take on the Titans, or even attempt to return to the Earth Sphere.
If you have ever played any of the old Giren's Greed games, you can actually either stop the Cyclops team or ship the Alex early to Amuro and he absolutely crushes A Baoa Qu in the Alex. Like it is almost not even fair how good he is in that suit haha.
in the psp girens greed amuro + unicorn gundam.. makes the zeon a push over
I've wanted to try the girens greed games but none of them are in English correct?
@@pinchman2946 yup
@@pinchman2946 it's not that bad. A general understanding of gundam is enough. The only misstep because of the language barrier I encountered. Was the decision to scrap the 13th Autonomous Corps. @@pinchman2946 There's a patch for the psp game Menace of Axis V. It's not finished yet, but i should help you navigate the menus.
Kakarot forever salty about the GM Cold District Types getting obliterated.
Can’t really blame him cause despite how awful they performed in war in the pocket, the gm cold district type is a pretty solid mobile suit for its time, even with newer mobile suits in battle operation the gm cold district has still shown to be capable to hold its own against some tough opponents.
@@MusicFan752 GM Cold is pretty solid in GBO2...
XD
@@LilyBeta it is, granted the leg armor is weak, but it’s armaments are good, they really helped to push the enemy back.
The Hygogg isn't a pushover mobile suit and the Cyclops team at that point was full of elite pilots so I don't see why the Cold District Type gets made fun of.
Pff i think pilots who perfectly play their cards right and with a timed display of skill it would be possible for outdated suits destroying newer models plus those new Hygogg where not bad machines either.
"Kai's cowardly nature."
My man was the first guy in the Federation to successfully land on A Baoa Qu and fought a delaying action against numerically superior forces the entire time, even after being forced to ditch his mobile suit. Kai might have been a coward in the first half of the show, but after the events of Ireland and the transit to Jaburo, Kai was a much different person and deserves a modicum of respect.
It's not so much he's a coward it's just he's practical and would like to live
It would've been Amuro and not Chris who would've earned the honor of becoming the best hamburger cook of the war.
lol its still mean as hell to this day
This hits too close man...
Ouch
This burger needs some salt. We need to have White Base take a detour through Zeon territory to get some.
T-too soon, too soon
According to Tomino if the seies was not cut down from 52 to 43 episodes the idea were to give to Amuro another MS in the last part of the war
The Alex from 0080 is the idea of MS that Tomino and Okawara planned
3:03
Hayato's size depiction is a major burn lol
My theory was that hayato was supposed to be younger
Just to show that the Federation was so desperate for man power
They literally recruit middle schooler
I have evidence
I was just watching the movie trilogy when they show hayato wearing a man size normal suit and ryu said there are some child size normal suit
And then in thunderbolt the Brotherhood reinforcement were children too
@@jrickducking6685 Charfield
HAHAHAAH dude that is soo good, subtle detail i didn't even really notice well pointed out sir!
Hayato is a true short king. He did so much more for the Earth sphere as leader of Karaba than Amuro during the OYW and the Gryps War combined.
I think he's just supposed to be short, Amuro, Fraw and Hayato start out Gundam at 15
Funnily enough the RX-78XX Gundam Pixy was also supposed to be assigned to White Base while it was on Earth, but it got lost in combat and was presumably destroyed. Which meant that White Base would have gotten 3 Gundams. However as the fighting would now be moved into space I feel the Pixy would just be kept in storage/reserve, left on Earth, or be converted into a space-worthy MS (as the Pixy was a ground type MS).
They did convert 2 ground gundams into space type aka blue destiny unit 2&3 so pixy is not hard to convert into spacr type.
If Side 7 didn't get attacked, and your scenario happened, they'd have 3 RX-78-2 Gundam units, 1 RX-78XX Pixy unit, 1 RX-78NT-1 unit, and two RX-77-2 Guncannon units. Totally OP. Probably wouldn't have enough room for all of them.
Gundam Solo Wing Pixy?
Now I want to imagine this combined with "What if Sleggar survived Big Zam?"
That's right.
Sleggar in the RX-78-2 while Amuro's in the Alex...
Lol, like a "Mu in the Strike, Kira in the Freedom" scenario.
Sleggar gonna be the man who makes the impossible possible.
Sleggar was a fighter jock, not an MS pilot. I think his learning curve would have been too steep to make him effective in the Gundam. Also, at the point he joined White Base, he should have been issued a GM or at least a Guncannon. That he didn't suggests he did not adapt well to mobile suits.
@@TheHiddenBoss Actually that was Barney Stinson.
@@PsychoStreak Mu La Flagga senario
Should do an alternative scenario. "What if Char's Zeong was 100% completed?"
@Pye22 Salfakar was joking you know, lol
@@tamatamappi I definitely was not. The engineer literally stated so.
@ basically yes, but the engineer was confused too, so Char was fucked up kwkwkwk
Forget AMBAC, with legs he could attempt a Char Kick in a Mobile Suit that is 30 meters tall, and has nearly 6 times the mass of a Zaku II.
Actually there is a Gundam Game based on this scenario in which, Gundam was crushed and Zeon won.
Some unfortunate Zeon Zaku pilot after Amuro killed Char with the Alex be like: “Sir l-look! It’s a headless Gundam!”
The Doms fighting Umon would have different reactions lmao
Sir, its bodyless gundam
To this day I still want this scenario created through an Evolve-like production. Amuro in the Alex just feels like such a fun idea.
Amuro in GP03D would be overkill! Wipes out any major conflict.
Imagine if. Char was holding back because he uses a non red mobile suit that doesnt works 3 times faster
It was unfinished. Those idiots forgot to paint it red!!
He doesn't have any legs
*angry 3 times faster and red char noises*
What if the zeong was painted red
Well you see the redshift effect makes red things faster than blue things.
The Alex has always been one of my favorite Gundam variants. It does need an updated HG for lit Tristan kitbashes, though.
bring the same arm gimmick from the HG Mudrock and i could kitbash those two together
kerosoldier Absolutely. And hopefully Bandai wouldn’t cheap out with including the Gatling guns like they did with the grenade launchers for the Mudrock. For a $45 high grade, that’s pretty inexcusable.
so glad to finally see a gundam what-if on youtube. sooo... if you decide to make another one, i have a few ideas. like, "what if kamille fought alongside amuro during char's counterattack", "what if Heero kept the Epyon", and "what if Athrun killed Kira"
i even got a joke what-if, "what if Domon knew Ultra Instinct"
there's a CCA edit where Kamille was with Amuro, they just wreck stuff together because you got two Ace pilots
this what if has me thinking, since Char is gone, Char's counter attack never happens so what if Amuro aqqiures the Unicorn Gundam later on
@@devildavin Without Char so much would happen in the time since Zeta I'd wonder if the UC Project would even be approved.
I think there's a scenario regards to Kamille and Char in SRW where the reason for Char doing his Neo Zeon movement was Kamille
To be fair. Ultra Instinct isn't REALLY that much of a stretch for some one like Domon to get.
Cause when you break it down, UI is really just moving with out thinking, to ether avoid an attack or deliver an attack, or both. Usually both.
Still waiting for GM development history ^^;
I'd like to see that as well!
Me too
Pretty interesting and it would've been sad for me to see Char go that early. I think Bernard Wiseman would’ve been alive and I'm honestly not sure if there would've been a Gryphs War. I'm not saying that Bernie will replace Char and get the Hyaku Shiki, but I'm just interested to see what would've happen in 0087.
I definitely love “what if” scenarios and this one was a very interesting one with pretty heavy consequences especially with Char’s quick and complete defeat. It kind of reminds me of a really comical but intriguing segment of Mobile Suit Gundam-san where Kycilia accidentally kills Gihren due to him insisting to scratch an itch on the back of his head with her gun, much to the shame of the crew that witnessed it all. Sayla reveals her identity to the rest of the Zeon forces and successfully rallies them under her, and intercepts Char’s attempted assassination of Kycilia, saving her life. But then Sayla reveals her agenda of labeling Kycilia as a war criminal to save the Zeon and its people as a whole, and creates a new regime under her true name of Artesia Dekim. I definitely wish it gets continued!
without char after the oyw zeta would have been a completely different show and haman a completely different person
I really like your theory, I've thought about it myself. I was going to say "but Kacilia", 🤔 however, you went over all the theories that could've happened to her as well. You really did your research! (Yea! RIP Char! Now Amuro had to get on with life!😁) The one thing about MSG, and all its side stories, is the "what if" factor. But that is what makes a good story. 😉
This is great, love it.
as for how it would change things, Char is a big part of the AEUG, and stealing the MKII, So the AEUG loses a great pilot, and leader. It would be possible that the AEUG dose not get the MKII, in the raid. Kamille could also be killed trying to take it.
Amuro who at this time is confined, may stay there or dying trying to reach Karaba as Char saved him. But if he still has the Alex he could use that get escape?
Now for Zeon Haman would be some what different, Char made her pretty jaded, with out him she maybe more open.
Gundam What ifs: NOW I am getting interested. As for post war? No CCA
It's odd.
>Alex first showing: murders a Kampfer with a battle-hardened veteran piloting in it by raising its arm and pulling the trigger
>Alex second showing: gets trashed by a rookie in a barely functional Zaku
Because the Kampfer had no clue that the arm cannon existed. As far as he was aware the gundam was defenseless, so he was just going in for the kill
if char dies the events change in the manga C.D.A - Portrait of Young Comet

You know, I’m getting goosebumps watching this video. It would’ve been nice to see Amuro using the Alex. Nice job Kakarot!
I absolutely love these alternate scenarios! Please do more what if’s!
I loved when you were saying if only white base had another pilot and kept pointing to Job lol. That made me laugh because you were bringing that up and so far apart from Char dying and the fact that Sayla is piloting the Gundam, not many huge changes until the post war. Can't wait to see part 2 and great job Kararot!
Yeah, Char dies, there's no Quattro Bajeena (did I spell that right?). That'll heavily affect the development of the AEUG. And am I the only one who thinks some of these organization names are pretty weird?
I think we can all agree that those GM Type Ds got a raw deal. That might be the best part of this video, clearing the Type Ds name.
Love this type of story. So i find myself going with the Zeon never knew about Alex being built. In the post war of a scenario where kycillia died at the hands of the federation, I imagine that the Titans never form because the Zeon remnants have no rallying point and can't pull off the stunts they do in canon. in a scenario where kycillia makes it out alive i see her retreating to Axis to lead the first Neo Zeon movement.
One thing to consider that the core fighter did save Amuro Alex had a 360 Panoramic cockpit no escape mechanism
another thing to consider is that amuro wouldn't have been in the same situation with the Alex
That's assuming the Alex would suffer the same fate as RX-78-2 when fighting Zeong.
Alex was more superior machine created with Newtype in mind so Amuro can unleash his full potential.
Amuro would probably win against Zeong with minimal damage and even if the escape from A Baoa Qu still happened, he would escape with Alex probably only missing an arm or head.
4:36 Was listening with another tab up and immediately switched back to confirm it was Job John. Jeeg John!
I actually vaguely remember hearing that this what if is an actual story in one of the SD Gundam G Generation games.
@Shadow Vulcanus Wait what!? I never heard of that!
I like this type of video so much! I feel like gunpla content is just product reviews, sometimes leaning a bit apathetic. It’s just cool to listen to someone who really loves Gundam talk about the lore. You make good content my dude
Normally I'm not a big fan of the what ifs scenarios, but because Kakarot197's extreme vast knowledge of the gundam universe, i'm completely hooked on now.
Can't wait for your next video!!
PS: If Cecilia survied and was able to escape, she might have the influence to gather all the Zeon remanants (if no one finds out about her assasinating Giren)
If she got captured instead, Zeon remanants might tried to stage a rescue,. Perhaps a raid at a Federation facility that might cause the death of some important people for both sides.
Clicked on video and paused immediately to say you just made my Sunday. Now I get to have a cigar, Pimm’s cup, AND one of your deep dive videos while sitting under a canopy in 100 degrees
Expertly crafted video as always, Even taking into account the delivery schedule of the Alex, something I hadn't even considered. Great work and I'm very much looking forward to part 2!
Char dead after the one year war? I legitimately can't think of anything that would sufficiently express how much joy that idea gives me.
I wish they had a alternative side story as the giren greed game show that what if the Cyclops teams didn't even know which results in bernie and cyclones survived and amuro get his alex gundam but nothing after just amuro becoming a better unit in game also I have a good question who would be the pilot of the pixie if the white base got it a lot of people thought bright would have piloted the pixie
I thought that the Pixie was apocryphal? Not Canon?
@@Supercohboy what happen to the pixie is not clear since the game it was in had multiple endings but what is cannon is there where 3 pixie made and one supposed to go the the white base but never made it
3:07 Hayato really that short? Poor bro
I would say Sayla, but she seems more of a fighter pilot. Maybe Sleggar if he would have survived. He seems to have the aggressive fighting style for it, and doesn't seem to mind fighting up-close. I imagine if he piloted the Pixie, though, it would have a different color scheme.
Hayato, he knows multiple forms of Martial Arts so would be the best fit
What if Char escaped the Zeong head from blowing up (like in Zeta with his Hyakushiki) then goes in to hiding?
I know this isn’t a question of the week but I just wanted to ask what ever happened to all the enemy factions in Gundam like the titans, A-laws, and the earth alliance after their respective anime ends? Which also leads to another question of was there any like remnant forces for the titans, A-laws, and especially the earth alliance in the mangas?
I know that there were Titan remnants, but I don't know about the other two. They probably did have remnant groups.
Roberto Perez mostly likely there is but we’ll see if we get a answer lol
@@ninjaguy_12We have to wait for daddy Kakarot 197 to answer us
@@ninjaguy_12From what i recall, many titans remnants were absorbed by Mars Zeon after Gryps in AoZ Reboot. Hence the black woundworts and modded titan mechs.

Titan force either A. surrender to the Federation and are serving time/were proven innocent of wrong doing or escape to Neo Zeon and joined Neo Zeon
Fascinating and well made video! Definitely looking forward to things really taking off in the next installment of this.
This is one of my favorite scenarios to play out. Will always try and do something like this in SD Gundam games and it is always fun.
The real question is "What if Ramba Ral got his Doms?"
Damn, White Base would be toast. Amuro at that time hasn't awaken, it was the perfect time to beat him and Ramba is a better pilot than any of the Tri Stars.
Should also add that Amuro was locked in the brig for his reckless actions and for leaving White Base earlier; Sayla is in the Gundam when the battle happens. Not to say he wouldn’t stand a chance against the Doms, but whether he can or cannot doesn’t matter when he’s on the ship and not out there fighting to begin with. Depending on if Ramba Ral’s forces are still willing to try to capture the Gundam or if they quickly catch on that Amuro is not in the Gundam, Sayla may either end up dead or captured while the White Base meets its end in the wastelands.
That would be intresting.
Gihren’s Greed answers that pretty well, White Base is totaled and Ramba captures the Guntank and Guncannon for Zeon while the Gundam gets away.
The earth would have been speaking Zeon
What an awesome video!! The Alex is one of my favorites, and I'd totally would love to see more of it in action. I think there's one thing that would've been different though: Most likely, Char would have escaped somehow. Don't underestimate the red comet's plot armor.
Wait isn't this just a good fan-fiction?
Less of a fanfic and more of a theory,
*aims gun* always has been
Love these What Ifs. Can't wait for more. Thank you. 🤍💙
It's an interesting what if scenario. Like you said, not a whole lot would had been different except for the higher probability of Char getting killed. With Char dead, that completely changes the early UC timeline. No Char's Deleted Affair, No Quattro, quite possibly no AEUG or a very ineffective AEUG, Camille might never join the AEUG, which also means the Zeta Gundam might never gets developed (Would Amuro have to step up and fill that role?). I imagine the events of 0083 would still occur so the Titans would still come into existence. Paptimus would probably still take over the Titans and be a force to reckoned with. I don't know how different Haman would be but a weaker AEUG might just get absorbed into Neo Zeon with war just between Neo Zeon and the Titans. Now the mystery variable to me, is just how Sayla would take Char's death. Would she still relegate herself to a bystander or get more involved somehow, especially after getting more of a taste of real combat in the Gundam?
A what if scenario? First, you had my curiosity. Now, you got my full attention!
I don't know. I mean, I know this video is all speculation based on facts from the Gundam UC universe, but Char has always been a surviver. There's a good chance that even if Amuro took out the Zeong's head, he may still have survived without Amuro detecting him with his Newtype senses. Or heck, who knows? ... maybe Lala's spirit would've stopped their fight and Char and Amuro would've parted ways to do their own things.
Kakarot isn't saying his speculation is 100% right in this video, and I too am not saying I am right. There are maybe 100's of possibilities in the timeline if little things were changed here and there. We will never know because they didn't happen. Just like real life where you never know what would've happened if WW2 never occurred since it DID occur.
Anyways. That's my thought. Char would've still somehow survived. Probably. He has always been a surviver since youth. Chances are, he would've survived the OYW.
The whole series really depends on Char. I would think the fight happens nearly the same, just the Alex survives the confrontation and Char barely escapes. It wouldn't be to far off to say due to being a new suit, Amuro wouldn't be ready for the new controls. He would have to learn on the spot, meaning his performance would be similar. Char could have even realized that he wouldn't be able to defeat Amuro and decides to escape on his own by sacrificing the Zeong. All possible what-if scenarios really, but the narrative depends on Char's survival.
Hey, Hey Bamco. Hire this man to write for the next SRW, we are due one that focuses on the OYW instead of a weird amalgamation of Z, ZZ and CCA anyways.
I think it was G Generation DS where you are playing on Zeon's side that if you shot down Amuro in enough early scenarios he deploys in the Alex for the A Baoa Qu battle (Or if you get the secret route he is dead and you face SUPER NEWTYPE KAI SHINDEN instead).
Looking forward to more stuff like this,
hell giving Amuro something even more basic like the Gp-01 / Gp-01 Fb and he'd wreck everyone in A Baoa-Qu.
Amuro was always the top ace and the best Gundam pilot.
Char is killed but in my heart I like to believe that Bernie survives in this scenario. The law of equivalent exchange
He would shit on Char, and probably end the first series right then and there.
Sunrise should make a short series putting a "what if" like this one.
What if amuro get alex? What if amuro and char switch role? What if amuro and char is on the same side (either fed or zeon)
It would be fun project iam sure
By switching roles, do you mean if Amuro became the enigmatic man in the mask? Cause there was apparently a Korean knock-off animation starring a character that looked like a recolored Char in full uniform, but when the helmet and mask come off, it’s just literally Amuro underneath.
I feel like this is basically what the Gundam Evolve series is, although the never touched on this topic, to my knowledge.
Good concept but I'm not sure everyone would be happy with this
Char and Amuro actually join forces in the 1979 novel in an anti-zeon, anti-federation alliance, but not even a paragraph later Amuro gets blown the fuck up by one of Char's subordinates. Regardless, Amuro's newtype ghost was really chill with it and newtype flashed everyone on white base to be cool with Char. Completely changes the outcome of the war.
Oh my god, this was well thought out, man! Good job 👍
That’s cool, how about a “What if Amuro and Sayla got married after the OYW?”
That is the interesting part, since Char/Casval already geve his blessing at the A baoa Qu
For one thing, that would be a relationship Amuro would have that would actually stick instead of end in an off-screen breakup or a retcon. Another thing, that would make Amuro and Char brothers-in-law; they'd be no longer rivals but family.
Borther-in-law but possibly sometimes come to laugh at him 😂
@@TheHiddenBoss Imagine the scenario where char rebuild zeon in his father ideals, with the help and protection of Amuro.
Does that mean char will marry haman karn, and then there is no char deleted affair ?
@@TheHiddenBoss if that's happen, I think Amuro will help char earlier, so because of that the rest of the series after 0083 will be different
3:53 There's one more thing to consider here and that's the fact that Sayla's first (and only) sortie in the RX-78-2 was while the White Base was on Earth. She claimed mastery in the simulation but Earth's gravity proved incredibly challenging for both her and Amuro when they first had to learn to adapt to it although given Amuro's aptitude for the suit at that point, he fared much better.
It would have been interesting to see how this first sortie would have gone had the White Base still been in space. Also if it was indeed a combat mission where she was assigned to it and not her defying orders where her objective was to contact the Zeon forces about her identity like she was doing here. She still wouldn't be Amuro's level but like the rest of White Base's crew she is a newtype. Definitely the best fit as the next in line for RX-78-2 with Amuro's upgrade I agree.
Another great one. Keep cracking out the good shit man.
My first thought is regards to averting the Cyclops Team attacking the colony was that Bernie simply never encounters Al or gets the intel from his camera. Only Al's idiocy in approaching a possibly hostile Zeon unit and Bernie randomly deciding to check his camera provided the intel that drew in the Cyclops Team. So much could have gone differently if more realism had been involved.
I think part of why the cyclops team rolled the Antarctic base so easily was because it was in the middle of nowhere. For the pilots on base, they probably seen it as a cushy, zero risk deployment to a base no one was supposed to find, especially since at the time the zeonic presence on earth would have been limited to Africa. So when explosions rock the base and comms flood with panicked responses, it probably caught them off guard.
Y’know, this is making me wonder if Amuro ended up piloting the RX-0?
it’s at this point where I see Kakarot197 as the Gundam equivalent of Swagkage 😃
this makes me remember an old Gundam game, Journey to Jaburo, its Japanese opening scene is the animation of White Base with their mobile suit squad, BUT, now its consists of the Gundam piloted by Amuro, ALEX piloted by Christina, Gundam(G) by Shiro, the BD-1 by Yuu and GM Sniper 2 by Master.P.Rayer
i mean if White Base had that kind of squad........ the way of the war maybe shifted even more hahaha
This video actually happened in my playthrough of Gundam Tactics on PSP were as soon as I got Amuro I gave him the Alex.
This has probably been said before (or you might've done it already), but what about a list of M'quve's screw-ups?
Another scenario could've been that War in the Pocket plays out as it did. Except,
Bernie had gotten the news that the zeon ship carrying the nuke had been stopped
I guess long term, Lhasa, Tibet isn't flattened by an asteroid.
This is something that I always wonder about, would like to see more what if on other gundam series.
omg dude i cant wait for part 2!!! this is brilliant!
I'm not to sure if I agree but I see a few majer changes with Zata Gundam with Char dead. First being the AEUG didn't have one of it's founders and top commanders
So the theft of the Mark II didn't go well and Camille gets executed by the Titans. Then no Camille no Zeta Gundam
There is a what if time line in Gundam VS Zeta Gundam that has Amuro join them, I don't know if it would have him as a founding member or not...
In my school vr game goalius who was escorted by the gm cannon 2 and goalius gave the federation a present a massive case that turned into a hanger and in it is the gundam nt 1 Alex it was captured along with gpo2 by zeon but goalius stole and returned the Alex to the federation and the federation thanked him and goalius collapsed in exhaustion and fainted
With all the dozens of Gundams that have been added to the One Year War since the original Gundam, you'd think they could've given at least one of them to Amuro!
0:50 you know this is also like in real life.the American air force before research of the F 22,the F 15 as the main fighter jet quote "can't hide from the enemy just go fast enough to our run them"
Guncannon: that's very cute *throws grenade* LAY DOWN
Job John...if only the man, the myth, the legend could go shine
If amuro got in the gundam Alex with newtype mode and machine guns the WAR WOULD BE OVER
Every time I watch 0080 I keep screaming for Bernie not to fight the Gundam. I really wished he lived...
Just be happy he didn't die for nothing
He a major factor that the timeline isn't bleak and dark
@@jrickducking6685 It was amazing how a character who only appeared in a 5 episode series made such an impact.
What if Amuro was in gundam unicorn and became the mentor of Banagher Links? Now that would be interesting. Also what about a what if, if Char got a gundam of his one or betrayed zeno? That would be interesting to.
IIRC, Vist Foundation didn't have a very good relationship with Bright's Londo Bell faction which Amuro was a part of. So, I don't think Cardeas would trust Amuro with Unicorn.
@@androyus I see was you meet but I ment Amuro was Links mentor or teacher to use the unicorn better after all the unicorn was based of the original gundam that Amuro pilot
Amuro would die because the suit doesn't have a core fighter. So he would die when ABQ explodes.
why did the EF replace the FF-S3 Saberfish with RB-79 Ball at the time of a baoa qu, the FF-S3 Saberfish seems better then the balls.
Low fire power fighter craft against Zeon new ms. The ball has a decent 120 mm cannon great as ms support and even great as a swarming firing squad , while serving as a construction/ combat engineer unit . The ball is more flexible since battles are becoming more close quarters.
You talking about how to get Amaro the alex just reminded me we need a modern bad girens greed game.
This is an interesting idea. Great work!
Yu Kajima and his squad are known pilots of the GM Cold District type. I wouldn't be surprised if the one GM who shot down Andy was actually Yu himself.
The part of of only they're was someone else, had me laughing in tears
I would assume that if Char does die this early, the Titans would emerge the victor in the Gryps conflict being that Char is responsible for bringing Kamille, Bright, and Amuro over to the AEUG/Karaba side, and his Dakar speech is what cuts the Titans off from Earth Federation support completely
What about a what if Ramba Ral got his Doms?
3 years later, waiting for What if Char had a high mobility Zaku when he first encountered the Gundam.
I think GMs got destroyed because the pilots couldn’t bring out the full potential during the battle. Some of the pilots did better than others like the one at the end that took out Andy. Again, I think if they had better pilots then we’d see a different outcome. Also, it was a special forces team up against normal base defense suits. I am not sure but I could see it happening.
One, they were caught absolutely off guard. Second, Federation pilots were always depicted as ones to panic when shits hit the fan. Third, most who stationed there were rookies. And the one defending the shuttle is the capable one (like the guy who piloted the Stark Jegan in Unicorn ep 1).
I can already see that Haman Karn's life, and her influence on Neo Zeon will be completely and drastically different than what is in canon, especially if the happenings of Char's Deleted Affair are still going to happen minus Char. I feel like that situation is where a writer would insert a new Protagonist character, if only to keep to that usual Gundam Pilot protagonist methodology.
There is also the fact that with the Alex's stellar success, I think that would cause a ripple effect for making Federation decision makers to be more willing and able to test and produce high performance MS designs then actually mass produce those. The Alex Gundam survival would also necessitate that the Gundams being design and built for the Gundam Development Project (0083 Stardust Memory) would be more influenced or its observers and critics will compare the designs to the super high performance Alex.
I feel like the Alex's high profile success at A Baoa Qu would have even more butterfly effects, even to the point of drastically altering how the Federation approaches figuring out the design priorities for their Newtype weaponry. Might even result in a Titan's super weapon that is more comparable to the Wing Zero Gundam than the massive Death Star-esque Psycho Gundam; that would be terrifying,
2:44 I have never seen a ship and a Gundam look so perfect for each other
From what I remember, Christina was the test pilot for the Alex.....so keeping that in mind, i'd say once Alex was delivered, i'd say Christina was also added to the roster for White Base and she would be a candidate for taking over the rx78. Leaving Kai and Hyato in the guncannons.
Interesting idea
Really gotta love how M'Quve ruins everything xD
Hey you finally did it! Nice.
