I bought the orange colorway and run about 50 miles on it. It's not fancy like Nike or Adidas but I really the Eva Foam. It's bouncy, comfortable and got the job done. My friend who is little bit 'fat' never runs but she just finished a 5km becoz of this shoes. Choose wide version if you're an overpro like me. Arahi 6 is also a good option.

Footlocker had a new pair of Adidas Zx line it seems. It’s the ZX 22 and looks like a Yeezy silhouette, especially the static pair but for only $120.
Great video. The problem with the Rincons (v1 and v2) is that they start losing their "cushion" feel after 100miles... hesitant to pull the trigger on these v3s... especially now that NB has the Rebel v2 at the same (even discounted) price point.
Do you think they'd be durable for casual use?
@@Conrad45 Yep. Using mine (v2) for walking mostly and doing errands… still pretty comfortable. But definitely feels flat/no bounce for running (after 100+ miles)
Get the Rebel v2, Rincon 3 should always be the second choice if for some reason you couldn't get Rebel v2.

I hope these are more durable than the previous versions. I had the first Rincons and they were probably the worst shoe I've had for durability, and from other reviews online, the 2nd wasn't much better.
This has more rubber on the outsole and almost the same as Clifton's, so it is definitely better than the 2nd version.

Got to say, I thought EVA foam tech had been rendered obsoleted by Pebax and TPU foams, but Hoka has proven me wrong: well implemented EVA still can be amazing and no one does it as good as Hoka (and Nike in a way - React is actually a mixture of EVA and a special rubber).
I have many pairs of boosts and I just got some New Balance 1080 v11’s and the fresh foam is super comfy
@@colelucas5936 Oops! I forgot Fresh Foam X is an EVA...and now that I think about it, so are Puma's Nitro Foam and Skechers Hyperburst...seems new tech EVA indeed is able to take the fight right up to the competition.

@@colelucas5936 I also believe that the early generation PU (first Polyurethanes) midsoles were really ticking time bombs - just check out a number of Jordans more than 7 years old and how they crumble to pieces. They were also kind of stiff and indeed EVA was viewed by many as superior tech. But with TPU and eTPUs - that's Boost - the game changed incredibly and suddenly the durability and performance of them made EVA seem so yesterday. But a bit of good of analytical chemistry, R&D and ultimately trial and error has brought EVAs up to date, especially with nitrogen infused EVA. Amazing to hear so many people now talk about boost being out of date - seems not that long ago it was the latest and greatest.
@@hiratiomasterson4009 Problem with TPU is they are very heavy compared to EVA based foams. Now with the new generation of EVA they are lighter, softer, and bouncier it's not strange that people thought TPU based foams like boost and PWRRUN+ are obsolete. It's stupid considering that UB21 weight 340 grams, while Maxroad 5 is just 235 grams with the relatively same comfort and bounce.
If I usually wear size us10 to 10.5, is the wide (2E) version of rincon 3 still suitable to wear in size 10?
