The ultraboost 21s may not have that immediate softness (though it is crazy soft) but it's the support it gives that makes it the absolute best. I don't even hesitate to pick them over anything else anymore.

I'm surprised that nobody is mentioning Asics' Gel series. Ultraboosts have been the most comfortable for me for years, but I got a pair of Gel-Lyte Vs recently and they are hands-downs the most comfortable shoes that I have. Standing or walking in those for long periods of time is super comfortable.
I'm going to tell you this is the best and most productive shoe video I've seen in years. You don't get into all these crazy personal experiences and going to weird tangents. You talk about the shoe you tell the pros and cons you show the squishiness and you move on to the next shoe. Your taste and style is extremely similar to mine. I work in the furniture business and I'm always on my feet walking around and standing up. This was the most informative and yet stylish video and I will certainly take in consideration your recommendations. I have the socrony endorphin and I love it. I also have a new balance Hyperion and I love that as well. I also got the Skechers razor 3 racer and I love that. I now am wearing Skechers hyper burst and they're pretty good too. My mistake was buying the vapor fly next percent that the professional marathon runners wear it has a carbon fiber plate in it, and spent I $350. My ankle feels like they're going to roll and just break at any movement and I hate the carbon plate. However the carbon plate definitely helps me when I walk fast at night it's always pushing my leg forward there's no doubt about it all these world records and distance running and track and field are being broken because these shoes absolutely make a difference with carbon plate. They accelerate your foot unnaturally and move your ankle and knee forward reducing many times by 4% in distance running. However not good for standing and walking short distances for long periods of time.
I have a lot of nerve damage in my feet. Pain in my feet I deal with everyday. This video got me to buy a pair of Nike Invincible. What a great pair of shoes. They help with the pain when I walk everyday. Softest shoes I have ever owned. Thanks for the video/info on the shoes. Wish they would make insoles of the zoom x rubber to put in other shoes.
Sometimes the more squishy the shoe is, the more tired and achy my feet get because I'm feeling the floor more than a shoe that gives a little response back.
I've been in a quest for the most comfiest shoe for the longest and most recently, ventured into the ZX 2K & Ultraboost 20 thanks to this channel. Although the ZK 2K is the squishiest, I feel like my tiny stabilizing muscles in my legs are working harder to keep my balance and I end up having sore calves at the end of the day. The Ultraboost 20 is hitting the sweet spot for me when it comes to not just comfort but style as well. I'm finally retiring my RealFlexes but still keeping my Cole Haans.
@@crlmac10 I wore a pair of Ultraboost 19's a couple of years ago to Disneyland and ended up changing my shoes halfway through the day. My feet were hurting standing in lines and walking around. Switched to a pair of Under Armour Hovr Infinite and no pain. Last month, I went to Disneyland and wore a pair of Asics Gel-Lyte XXX, my feet felt great. The Asics Gel-Lyte XXX is a modern take on the old school Gel-Lyte III. The squishiest shoes always tend to bottom out for me.
I though my UltraBoost was comfortable until I bought the Invincible zoomx. The Inv zoomx was so comfortble and it feels like it's pushing me up to walk more every step. Now I gotta try me a 1080 and Hoka.
After through research and watching videos i finally bought these shoes nike zoom x invincible and I'm really impressed with them they're extremely comfortable worth the money anyone who wants to buy comfortable pair of shoes you won't be disappointed hands down!
I am convinced that running shoes were designed for running with the aim of propelling your body forwards using the bounce when you're landing on one foot. That's not necessarily the tech that would make a good standing shoe. Cushiony may feel comfortable but you'll always have a cushion between you and the ground, which could weaken the muscles in your feet and legs. So it's probably a good idea to find a compromise between cushioning and support and avoid the extremely squishy ones unless you're on the heavier side.
I just tried a pair of Hoka Clifton’s and the heel height was too high for me and after standing in them for 3 hours, my back and legs hurt. Yes, most of the cushion is in the heel to hold up to the weight and impact when you run but standing…not for me. The felt great to wear (not too tight and no pinching)and were so light though!
Hey thanks for making this video! Got myself the New Balance 1080v11 as I found it more comfortable for standing/running, better than Nike ZoomX Invisible Run especially in taking a turn while running, had heel slippage only when I made a turn wearing Nike else it’s way more comfortable/cushiony than New Balance 1080v11
I work in retail and walk 12,000+ steps every 8 hour shift, and found that the vans pro skate shoes, also just called SKATE, are a nice balance of soft and stable. They aren't too soft or too firm, and have pretty good support. Since they're made for skateboarding, they have good shock absorption, and they are super durable. I sat around all day before getting this job, and have foot problems. I think my feet would have been miserable if I didn't get those Vans ahead of time. Plus, they look good. So many shoes for standing and walking are just plain ugly.
I always thought the “soft and squishy” was what I needed but ended up with the new balance 990v5 and that ended up being the most comfortable for me for those long days on foot. Very stylish as well.
@@yewtewb3628 I’ve gotten it both ways I think it depends on weight and build at the end of the day. Heavier bodies can get away with more “soft and squishy”

My job is running around in a parking lot 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I walk the equivalent of 7-9 miles a day which is equivalent to 20-23 thousand steps a day. Which of these shoes would you recommend to me? I need a shoe that can take a lot of abuse and at the same time can be really soft and squishy, because I'm on my feet all day. Any advice would be appreciated.
You'd be surprised about the current work boots. They look heavy and chunky, but a lot of them use this really bouncy plush foam in their midsoles! Light years better than they used to be! Have a look at Redback Boots.

Spot on with the health care field! Literally wear Ultraboosts for work (when appropriate) and it has saved my back, knees, and feet. It's completely different from being able to move freely or run. If you stand 8-10hrs a day for lab work, it can take such an extreme toll especially since I do enjoy my sports and feel fatigued far sooner than in the past when I wasn't wearing something that was comfortable. If only the Nike's came in all black! Really want to try those as my daily driver shoe and have the Ultraboosts for work since I tend to daily my work shoe and that just wears them out faster lol
@@timzusa not really. I am wearing a slightly older model that came in all black. I wanna say 3.0? Unsure, been a while and I threw out the box. I have the same wide feet as Hes and found these to be really good as a size 9.5.
My feet are VERY different when it comes to the Invincible ZoomX: on the move they are amazing, but as soon as I stand still...I don't. My legs start wobbling like I'm trying to balance on a pool of jell-o. Really disappointed as they do feel amazingly soft on the move. But with foam tech like React, Boost, Fuel Cell, Fresh Foam X, PwrRun+ etc, great alternatives are easily found.
Barber here. Always looking for comfortable sneakers that look good. I currently switch between ultra boosts 20s and a couple presto reacts. I know you don’t like them but certain color waves are actually work very well. Ii’ve also rocked some react element 55s. The adidas inikis were actually really good and probably looked the best. I work on a mat and still my feet hurt after a long day. These sneakers have worked the best so far. I’m always looking for comfort and style. I’ve tried tons of other options but still havent found a go to. I wish they designed something for barbers in mind
As a medical provider, I’m on my feet a lot. Often wear 1080v10, sometimes Clifton 7/Ultraboost. Hoping to try on the Invincible Runs at some point, but will probably go with the Rebel V2 for now, price point is more appealing and like how lightweight they are. I am interested in knowing more about the Novablast 2 and Fresh Foam More V3 though. I’ve read great things but am curious about the casual perspective. Great video as always, thank you for sharing your insight and perspective, truly one of my favorite channels!
I work as a physician on ER, Pureboost lover here! Even more comfortable than the Ultraboost! Adidas needs to figure out how to put the boost midsole in a wide variety of casual shoes

Such a helpful video! especially with the included links! Definitely going with wither the NB 1080v or the Nike invincible....design wise I like the Nike more but I have wide feet. Does this shoe accommodate well with wide feet? Or should I go with the NB?

I tried the 1080s and honestly idk what everyone was talking about. They weren’t that comfy for me. They weren’t bad at all but nothing spectacular either. I think my Vomero 14 (which hardly ever get talked about) were WAY more comfy. Another shoe I’d throw in is the Nike React Miler. These can be had for a steal and are super comfy. Great vid tho Hes, as always top notch
@@leo2832 they're chunky but still gotta go 1/2 size up. The midsole is shared amongst many various designs/colourways... Lots to choose from... All comfortable
I work as a receipt checker/entrance doorman at costco so im standing completely still a good 2-3 hours in between breaks and for my feet as a wide footer, ive found the flatter the sole the better. But with a cushion insert of some sort. like boots or high top sneakers with a Dr scholls insert. But for something more stylish but I'm still standing for long hours, the Nike Air Max 90's,Jordan 1's,Reebok Classics, and Reebok Aztrek 96 are in my rotation . I've tried ultra boost and Nike zoom flys but the squishy foam of these lightweight running shoes had me constantly rebalancing myself.
It really is true what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another. I bought the ultraboost 21 on huge discount and I do not like them but I love the Bondi SR shoes.
Pegasus Turbo are too narrow. For standing I go with Nike React Element 55 or 87, but still kind of narrow. I prefer Ultra boost and Epic React flyknit, however Epic reacts are lighter, ultraboost tend to weight on you after a few hours.. Just my thoughts
I work nights at a warehouse and been trying to find the perfect shoe. The shoes that I've been using for the last year and half are thre nike renew and they are good, but I'm looking for a different type of shoe.
On a different note: We all need to wear shoes other than sneakers some times...for business or whatever. For those who need loafers, oxfords, business shoes, but want the same experience as with sneakers, the brand called Mephisto make non-sneaker shoes with their own cushioning system. Derby's, Loafers, even mokassins have the 'soft-air' shock absorber in the heel and what they call 'air-flex' or 'air-relax' in the mid sole. Mephisto are all hand-made in France with super high quality leathers and all natural materials. The cushioning system is latex based as far as i know. For nurses, they have the classic from the 80's the 'Match' which they made in white. It was always a nursing classic. Its known as the 'Rolls-Royce of walking shoes'. Its great for medical pros because its soft but not too soft. @1:53
Interesting that you should mention, I actually found standing not to be so bad in the Adidas Springblade, a shoe that has almost zero foam in it at all.
Brooks Glycerine are pretty good like a smaller Clifton. The Crocs Literide are pretty comfy on a hot day. The sandals or their normal looking non clog type.
Most comfortable I had was Reebok with springy circles at the bottom of the shoe. It was like walking on a cloud, but they don’t make anymore. More comfortable than new foam from Addidas.
Omg I think I know which ones ur talking about ... so comfortable I got em as a gift in 2013 I believe and tried to find them again and could not .. very disappointed
My two favorite squoshy sneakers are a pair of Nike 360's with blown pods and a pair of Mike Vapor Max with blown back pods. (the front pods are still good so I don't know how they would feel with the front pods blown. Both of them feel a bit "strange" for the first five minutes or so of wearing them, but then feel perfectly OK and very comfy. I'm serious about this, they really are comfortable. I don't have any of the ones you mention except a well worn pair of Adidas Boosts, which I agree are quite comfortable. I buy almost all my sneakers well used and cheap, that I can afford. so that influences my choice.
Hoka Bondi/or Clifton aren't only good as running shoes but also for anyone who works/walks a lot in work. Great on hard floor and carpets also has fair amount of grip on damp/wet surface.
UB's are my go-to when I have to stand/walk around all day. But I may have to give those Fuel Cell Rebels a try! Hopefully, I can try them in-store here in Manila! 🤞🏼

I’ve tried tons of other options but still havent found a go to. I wish they designed something for barbers in mind
Try nike n354
As a wedding DJ myself..... the mid wedding shoe swap was KEY. For all wedding DJ's here that don't do this already, do it. Like ASAP rocky.
I've been looking for this video since I started my new job
As a medical provider, I’m on my feet a lot. Often wear 1080v10, sometimes Clifton 7/Ultraboost. Hoping to try on the Invincible Runs at some point, but will probably go with the Rebel V2 for now, price point is more appealing and like how lightweight they are. I am interested in knowing more about the Novablast 2 and Fresh Foam More V3 though. I’ve read great things but am curious about the casual perspective. Great video as always, thank you for sharing your insight and perspective, truly one of my favorite channels!
I used to wear the jordan 21 to work but i just switch to the jordan 3 and i also work in the medical field
You can get invincible runs for like 100 at certain Nike outlets and stay tuned cause they’ll come down on sites like finish line and footlocker soon
How about the New Balance More 3?
I’m curious about this too. I tried them in store and I didn’t like the really intense rocker
I work as a physician on ER, Pureboost lover here! Even more comfortable than the Ultraboost!
Adidas needs to figure out how to put the boost midsole in a wide variety of casual shoes
I feel like squishy shoes like Ultraboosts have me balancing myself all the time when I’m standing still.
They do and that's not good for stability. It actually fatigues you more than something a little firmer.
I feel like the ultra boost dont have any feet support. A wrong step and you’re breaking your ankles.
@@joeblanco6188 taking a wrong step happened yesterday to me in a store. Lol. Someone walked out of an aisle suddenly and I lost balance for a bit while I was trying to change direction quickly😂 definitely can’t play basketball in the Ultraboost 3.0 lol
The UB21 is more firm and when standing still in line in disneyworld it was perfect imo! Sometimes too soft is tough especially with carbon fiber plates
@@joeblanco6188 I agree but for the 5th and 6th versions of the Ultraboosts are much better with a modernized torsion system
I'm waiting on my nike invincible looking forward to trying them out
Such a helpful video! especially with the included links! Definitely going with wither the NB 1080v or the Nike invincible....design wise I like the Nike more but I have wide feet. Does this shoe accommodate well with wide feet? Or should I go with the NB?
I just bought the Adidas ZX 2K boost ninja edition at the Adidas outlets for only 65 bucks out the door and the retail price was $150 what is steel always go to the outlets so comfortable
Boost > ultra boost
Nike Zoom Prevail or Nike Revolution 6 or Nike Quest 4 which one is comfortable and which one will you pick
What do you think of those Cole Haan with the Nike soles? Comfy? Corny? All of the above?
Puma RS-X line... All day long at an amusement park... Feet felt great after... Deserves to be on the list
Interested in trying out a pair, how is the sizing on them? Thanks!
@@leo2832 they're chunky but still gotta go 1/2 size up. The midsole is shared amongst many various designs/colourways... Lots to choose from... All comfortable
What shoes is at 12:40?
Great review, as I get older, the more squishier shoes I've been looking out for. Thanks for the vid!
Have you tried the ASICS novablasts 2? I think they’d make this list.
Guess he doesn't stock that brand. I swear by my Kayanos.
The Adidas X_PLT Boost have been my daily Go-To when I’m covering the front desk. Very comfortable.
I am wearing Acisc lyte classic, very confortable all day shoes for me, also the colour combination is fantastic
Which best for sole leg pain also waterproof and more 12 hrs standing working job?
It really is true what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another. I bought the ultraboost 21 on huge discount and I do not like them but I love the Bondi SR shoes.
Love ultraboost, but just got two pair of ZX 2k boost. More squish than ultraboost and slightly less firm, and better top venting if you have hot feet
Pegasus Turbo are too narrow.
For standing I go with Nike React Element 55 or 87, but still kind of narrow.
I prefer Ultra boost and Epic React flyknit, however Epic reacts are lighter, ultraboost tend to weight on
you after a few hours..
Just my thoughts
Hoka One One Biondi 7 are amazing!
My favorite go to pair for long walks/standing all day are my Adidas NMD CS2. Slip on and ultra comfortable
I work on my feet for a long time . Which shoes would you recommend?
hi there nice video but i was waiting to be on top 5 asics.Maybe you will show next video
I work nights at a warehouse and been trying to find the perfect shoe. The shoes that I've been using for the last year and half are thre nike renew and they are good, but I'm looking for a different type of shoe.
I want the exact color of the black with white sole ultra boost your wear at 12:19 but can not find that color anywhere.
which ones are good for flat/wide feet standing all day ?
I appreciate that you showed each pair on your feet in motion. I'm going to try the ultra boost 21 .
I am 100% team soft cushion but for this special topic, standing all day, I really prefer the Nike Shox.
Which of these has the least toe spring?
How does the V10/V11 compare to OG pureboost. Those are my favorite of all time.
How is the durability of these shoes? With the soft sole it looks like it’ll break or flatten quite quickly
How about ON shoes? Would you say these 10 are better than the cloudmonsters?
If I work in the kitchen and there’s oil and the floor is slippery, would most of these shoes do the job when it comes to not slipping or for grip?
Can you say which of them is non marking? For indoors sports? I am looking for the most comfortable indoor sports shoe.
What would you recommend for people who underpronate (supinate)?
Asics quantum 360 and skechers go run consistent maybe?
Can we get a 2024 update? I work in healthcare and am in the market for new comfort shoes every year. Nice work!
Was that Reebok Dmx sole ... So soft
Thank u for this video ! Lol because not many ppl talk about all the different types of squishy shows
Shocked the zx2k boost didn't make top 2. So much more comfortable than my react shoes
Hoka Bondi/or Clifton aren't only good as running shoes but also for anyone who works/walks a lot in work. Great on hard floor and carpets also has fair amount of grip on damp/wet surface.
I work as an aircraft mechanic and more than half the people I work with wear those
Thank you for making this, perfect timing 👏🏽
Been a while for New Balance to come back to my sneaker radar. Looks cool.
absolutely have to agree with zoomx invincibles for this. i use them for exactly that
UB's are my go-to when I have to stand/walk around all day. But I may have to give those Fuel Cell Rebels a try! Hopefully, I can try them in-store here in Manila! 🤞🏼
This is exactly what I needed, thank u
Automotive production quality control 10-12 hrs a day 6 days a week! Thanks for the video! Very Helpful!!
Give the New Balance Fresh Foam More V3 a try when you have the chance. it may challenge for the #1 spot.
It’s useful for ppl like me who”s working on busy kitchens whole bloody day. Thank you very much, for this particular one🤝🥃
i don't know if anyone can answer me on here but i have juvenile arthritis (inflammation )and i have a job in telecom so cellphone boy, obviously i'm standing most of the time, which one would you recommend off this list or should i just ebay the zoom pegasus turbo 1 - 2 or just go for the # 1 on the list?
Are the ASICS gel nimbus good for standing?
Any recommendation for a Good shoe for marching in while being comfortable?
Great list. How do the 2k boost compare to the shoes in this list?
On Cloud are my favorite
Hi
Is adidas 4d pulse good for long standing.
Greetings man I heard you said Browns('s) where did you get them❤??
Would you please tell me what pants you're wearing at 6:05 ?
Used to work at a footlocker where I couldn’t sit at all unless I was on break and spoiled with all types of selections but in the end simple air max and roshes held it down!
You gotta try Reebok Floatride Run Symmetros!! One of the best shoes I've ever tried on/owned
One important thing for all day shoes is how they provide arch support and stability. Softness is important but after a while it's very tiring....
so can you recommend one
Great review absolutely been spoiled with the invincible and as a sneaker head it’s really tough now to put another shoe on due to the feel of the invincible and I feel myself comparing the invincible to all my other shoes, I’m on my third pair now of invincible
How long does it last, since it’s quite expensive I’m hoping it can last a few years if I wear them around all day (not running)
Thanks, I just used your link to buy a pair of addidas.
New Balance Fresh Foam more V3 should be in Top 3 most custioned and comfortable shoes😁
