I forgot I used to watch this show on TV along with Spiderman and TMNT. However I've never seen it in English, and turns out it's got pretty cool voice acting! Guess you learn something new every day :)

1:10 yup ... thought the same thing. Just rewatched Batman Animated Series, and went on a dive today. This was Disney's creative response to that boom in DCAU then. Disney even hired a big DC guy that transformed it into this gem.
I used to watch it as a kid and still put it on now and then for background noise but covering the show for the channel is letting me truly appreciate the writing for the first time. 💜💛
@@AveryTalksAboutStuff I bet, but wow do the DVD extras tell a tail. It was originally, like all the other Disney cartoons I loved, supposed to be comedy sorta like Ducktails or Gummybears. That's until Disney got DC talent to, like you said, bring some mature comic book style of writing and tone. Watching now ... these nostalgic chills. 🤗

@@AveryTalksAboutStuff did you know that the third Season’s story showrunner and creator Greg Weismann wanted to tell was shot down by Disney who wanted to turn it down because the show was too dark (now Disney has said they regret and wish they had such a show again) it wasn’t until several years later in 2004 that Weismann got to finally tell his originally planned story in the SLG Comics. The comics were so good I finally got to read them thanks to ReadComicOnline. The first comic “Gargoyles” was better, I did not like the spinoff comic “Gargoyles: Bad Guys” as much but these two comic lines are considered canon, whereas the show’s third season, Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles” is not. Also I can’t wait to see you cover episodes like the rest of Season one, and Season 2’s Episodes; Leader of the Pack, The Mirror, Eye of the Beholder, Vows, City of Stone parts 1, 2, 3, & 4, Double Jeopardy, Upgrade, Avalon parts 1, 2, & 3, Heritage, Sanctuary, M.I.A., Grief, The Hound of Ulster, Mark of the Panther, Pendragon, Eye of the Storm, The Green, Bushido, Ill Met by Moonlight, Future Tense, The Gathering parts 1, & 2, The Reckoning, Possession, and Hunter’s Moon parts 1, 2, & 3.
Also have you seen the new Neca Line of Figures they put the Kenner to shame they look so good, they’re so poseable, and they look straight out of the show

Yay more Gargoyles. I don't remember if I said in the last video but I used to have this opening 5 or 6 parter on vhs as a movie.
Gargoyles fun fact Lexington the yellowish greenish one is gay.
I don't know if you care about spoilers but the reason Goliath has a name if I remember correctly is because he protected the castle and attended a human wedding with Demona where he was given his name.
Ah, so that's where his name comes from! I loved the show as a kid but I must have blocked out most of the actual story and was just like, "look at the super cool gargoyles!!" 😂
@@AveryTalksAboutStuff Yeah I was the same way it wasn't till I was a little old that I started to really invest in the lore.
I know they are not in the same Timeline cause one is from the 90s and the other is from the 2010s. But this and Gravity Falls are the top 2 Disney Cartoons that even though a lot of time has passed they still hold up even now. Still great shows to watch and they are just as enjoyable now as they were then (My own add brain kinda staying on topic but also not). I can not wait for you to review the next episode. Great video as always ^_^

Still waiting patiently on Blinky Bill the 90s, Avery like the movie & tv show, which is my childhood of the series (hence the playlist i made in correct order & compilations of tv shows). I still wonder what's next on Aussie tv/movie you'll do or New Zealand (which is part of Oceania) kiwi accent instead of Australian.
