Goal is to clean out most of the stack within this year! Yeah I think it is good to see people's shame. Good motivation to get stuff done!
Lovely pile of shame nice of you to take the challenge, how many you have in total? I would recommend at least build them, maybe even spray prie them, then it would be easy for you to finish them. That unfinished beer or juice is really a pile of shame. Cheers man.
Yeah I will get a lot of those built this summer. But I like keeping them on sprues for storage reasons for right now
Interesting pile. Can I ask what Ancient rules you have tried? Painting all those figures you mentioned in May is a "tall order", good luck.
Yeah I'm going to do a personal painting challenge, the goal is to do 100 figures in 4 weeks! For ancients I've tried Warhammer ancient battles, Hail, Caesar!, and To the Strongest. All have elements that I like and dislike
@@TriariusWarGaming My own personal favourite is "Sword & Spear", an unusual game system and not to everyone's "taste". At club we play everything from the rules you mentioned to rules such as Impetus, "Le Art de la Guerre", and due to time constraints even the old warhorse
D. B. A.! We don't hesitate to amend rule sets to suite our "opinions/tastes" but of course if you're a competition gamer or member of a large group/club that is not always appropriate. Enjoying your work and video's, great stuff👍
@@buckospiffle594 I've been kind of intimidated by DBA and LADLG which I believe is a successor system to DBA? I will do some research on Sword and Spear and check it out. Swordpoint I have bought the rules, but have yet to play, I find the rulebook hard to read. I did just buy a new set called "soldiers of Rome" so interested to see how that set plays.
