Yes, that struck home with me, but I have to say, I was afraid to speak out much against gender ideology in my uni debates, I did, and I do wonder if it negatively impacted my grades, so we all know that the tutors are not being fair. I'm a New Zealander who lived in Israel. Palestinians I worked with and knew were treated with absolute respect. Pro Palestenian protesters are extremely ignorant or gaslighting to support their narrative.

The guy at 12 minutes talking about the grotesque apartheid in the West Bank… having been there myself I can attest to the enormous red signs at the entrance to all the Palestinian towns within the West Bank (Area A under the Oslo accords) banning entry to anyone who holds Israeli citizenship (ie Jews, because Israeli Arabs are allowed in), whereas no such signs exist in the Jewish towns within the West Bank. It’s a shame how clueless these kids are while believing they’re so educated. Anyone who wants to speak out against Israel should be made to go there first and see the facts on the ground with their own eyes.

those red signs are actually due to a israeli law and NOT a law of the Palestinian Authority (in fact they wouldn't even have the iurisdiction over outside borders of the westjordan valley as it is occupied/ controlled to do that). My father once called me an anarchist because I didn't really engage politically, but the fact was, I had no idea what to believe yet and wanted to be sure I didn't throw my little bit of input and power behind the wrong people and ideas. I never voted, but I also never protested stuff I didn't understand or ruined Thanksgiving with some half-baked moral high-horsing. I maintain it was a wise-ish decision on my part, considering my ignorance at the time. Of course, things have become a lot more clear to me since those days.

The members are selected not based on their judiciary experience but by popularity voting among the UN nations. Israel has border crossings between the West Bank and Israel where 90,000 Palestinians cross to go to work in Israel. The reason for the security is preemptive. They want to to keep terrorists out of Israel.

With lots of security restrictions (that are controversial) Arabs can live in all of Israel, but Jewish people are explicitly prohibited from some parts of the West Bank, Gaza, and most Muslim countries.

I have been saying this forever. As an Israeli doing her Ph.D. in an American university, I don’t get it. Maybe it’s just me but how can you get super galvanized for a cause that literally doesn’t affect you? You want American divestment of all conflicts and tax payers money going into more important issues, that I get. But I have never seen people protesting to this level on behalf of black people, Native Americans. It is so freaking hypocritical and I don’t get how students don’t see it.,

Speaker at 14:00 has made a number of factual errors. No, any Israeli police officer cannot revoke the ID of a Palestinian resident of Israel. Revocation has to go through the Population Registry and it's a long and complicated process. He said "leavened" several times and I didn't understand him because he mispronounced the word. The law is not discriminatory - it requires shops to not display bread products in their public windows for 7 days once a year, only in Jewish cities. Arab-majority cities are exempt from this law. It also doesn't prohibit the sale of bread - just the public display of it. Also, Areas A, B, and C were established by the PA, Israel, and the US under Oslo; this wasn't an Israeli invention. And none of that makes an apartheid state. Also, why does he want Israel to compensate Gazans going back 75 years when Egypt had control over Gaza until 1967? Why should Israel compensate Gazans going back even 20 years? Israel literally disengaged from Gaza in 2005 and let Hamas rule, which they failed at. At the 2014 kidnapping and murder of 3 Israeli teenagers - does he have the chutzpa to claim that this horrific crime didn't happen?

The part about bread in Passover - if the hospital wants to keep the kitchen kosher during Passover they can't have a single bread crumb in the entire kitchen. The rules of Passover are very strict. Yes he actually claimed Israel is starting wars against Gaza for no reasons, the devoid of any reference to intifadas, Arab attack and all that in his talk is clear of how biased he is about this conflict that he eliminated any wrongdoing on the side of the Arab Palestinians. I can understand Muslims supporting their fellow Muslims - something they always do in conflicts with other religions. it is just the Arab-tribe-culture hidden in their religion so called Islam. But the Western students screaming for Palestine, being complet ignorant about this conflict, is disastrous for our own culture. We should encourage them to live among Arabs as non Muslims, just to see what is going to happen then, to show them all their LGBTQ proud just to prove, if they rely mean it. Why Muslims are not protesting when fellow Muslims are killing other Muslims, let say in Afghanistan, Pakistan or in Jemen. They just fell offended when other religions are involved. We should support Israel 100% no doubt about it!
1. The war is not about land. The Arabs have never wanted the land and the Palestinians have always and at any time in the last 100 years been able to have a country of their own simply by declaring their land to be a country. They could have declared Gaza to be the beginnings of a Palestinian state without compromising their desire to eradicate the Jewish state from the rive to the sea. They don't want a country and they don't want the land and that is why they don’t have a country. They only want to prevent the Jews having a land of their own.
2. The war is about status. All wars are about status. This war, specifically, is about the status of Muslims in the world order. They are aggrieved by having lower status than the Western world and the most galling factor of that is that Western Jews have higher status than Muslims in the world order. It galls them deeply because they have, for 1,400 years, enjoyed the psychological advantages of treating the Jews as inferior.
3. Anyone who is not calling for Hamas to surrender wants the war to continue and wants more Palestinians to die for the purposes of demonising Israel and demonising Jews in order to lower the status of Jews and to raise their own status in comparison.
4. This is how humanity works. What really angers and upsets Westerners who pretend to be left wing and who pretend that they oppose Zionism because they pretend it is right wing because they think it raises their own status is that humanity works this way. It is a deep psychological crisis for them that they deflect from by scapegoating Jews.
5.Everything else is BS.
