All these episodes are priceless. The Boomerang looks nothing like that these days.
Because this is the last Hulk episode of the series, I guess this is one Boomerang that won't return.
Classic gem.
This "Boomerang" is not to be confused with DC Comics "Captain Boomerang", a villain of "The Flash".
Notice at the end of the cartoon, the Hulk has a small smile on his face.
Not as disturbing as Thor's smile but seems misplaced on a rage monster's face.
P.S. Thank you for uploading this.
Boomerang in his early appearances was a very underrated villain with a clunky, but interesting look, and anyone who could stand up to the Hulk with discs and jet boots was FUN. Now, he's all standard skin tight spandex and a third or fourth tier bad guy.
Glen Talbot really did grow, eventually becoming Mr. Betty Ross in the 70s. Maybe someday Marvel will drop some resurrection on him like they've done with everyone else except Uncle Ben.
I did not know that about Talbott and Betty. Must have happened after I went off to college and quit collecting.
@@dwashburit was late 70s/early 80s. I remember I was young and it was still the Herb Trimpe art era.
Kane's Parents and Kane remember this 😊I think I got some of these Classic
I like this platform 🎉
you and I have something in common,I don't have the great of balance either
Hold on...! Is this the same Boomerang (aka Fred Myers) who was a baseball pitcher, got fired and would go on to menace Spider-Man and Daredevil??
Quite an... incredible adventure we've been on, Irving! (pun entirely intended!)
BTW , if you're taking suggestions for new series, I'd recommend the 1980s 'amazing spider-man' cartoon. It's pretty good! Cheers, Irving!
I've come back from the final episode of Iron Man to rant once more!(FYI: I call it a 'rant' because it can sound annoying to non-nerds)
There is, in my opinion, no better way to end this TV series. All throughout, much like Beauty and the Armor, and also like with the final episode of Captain America, we focus on a major part of the Hulk's world, characters, and ideas. In Iron Man, it was the secret of the Iron Man armor for the idea, the world would be everyone wanting to know the secret(like the Senator or the Reds[I hope this isn't offensive to anyone, and if it is, I sincerely apologize!]), and we bring back an old foe with Titanium Man for the characters.
For Hulk, the world would be, as it always has been, a simple desert military base. For the characters, we bring back all the main cast and feature the Hulk's greatest enemy, at least for a time, in General Ross. Finally, for the ideas, we bring about the lack of understanding of what the Hulk is, and this really sets into motion how great of a character he is. Rick's line at the end sums up the Hulk brilliantly. Truly the definition of a bittersweet finale!
Ross is a zealot who's terrible at his job. His base security is lousy, he doesn't seem to have air support, and he's obsessed with the Hulk. He wants to prove he has the bigger penis because his men and machines can beat the guy in combat. It's not working, but his role model seems to be Wily E Coyote and the Hulk is his Roadrunner.
There's a story (possibly urban legend) of an exam for lieutenants which gives a situation where you need to erect a flagpole. It gives details on the ropes, the pole, and notes you have a sergeant and a mess of privates, then asks how you'd do it. The correct answer is to tell the sergeant to get the flagpole up.
If Ross wanted to give his daughter protection while she's on the base, the proper thing might be to tell Talbot to take care of it. But he shouldn't expect a major to do it himself. He'll probably find out which captain is in charge of security and protection details, and give them the order. Eventually some rank and file are going to be assigned to it.
I'm not sure why Boomerang wasn't given an Australian accent. While his family emigrated to the United States when he was five or so, he probably still has that accent. On a side note, he was a major league baseball pitcher who was tossed for fixing games.
If they isolated the virus, it would have been weaponized in some way to try and make soldiers stronger and tougher. There's a terrible Syfy film called Battle Dogs.
It'd be nice if you'd let us watch the episodes WITHOUT your comments...until AFTER the cartoons are ENDED..!!!
I suppose it would, except that copyright blocks would mean you can't watch anything at all. Everything in life is a trade-off.
Uh, how does the Hulk fly?
He doesn't. He jumps great distances.
@@dwashbur Propel, not fly. Propel!
@@stillaboveground2470 Nice "Mr. Terrific" reference.

Now if I could just come up with a terrific "Captain Nice" reference.
