I very much so enjoy my old 2021 Bear Whitetail Legend. Has a similar cam set up to this Adapt 2. Smooth drawing bow. Easy to tune.
Unfortunately it's coming in at 305 fps ibo. 😢
My original Adapt is shooting 29.5/60 430 gn. arrow 267 fps.
I see so many people saying ibo speeds are junk and wrong a lot without the exact setup that was used and conditions and all. The rating may have been right with their setup (or not), just wonder, are so many people crapping on this bow because the ibo rating is wrong or because it’s not a good shooting bow? I’m not a hunter but I’ve shot plenty of stationary shoots and I’ve never once cared about the ibo speeds. It’s always been, can I shoot it well. My ability to shoot has never been overshadowed by “oh no but the ibo speeds!!!!”. So is it a good bow for the average shooter or is it all doom and gloom because of the speeds
Bows from Bear Archery have always had a good price-quality ratio. But rth for 800USD? It is really worth investing in other brands
The camo reminds me of the old Treebark 2 from Mathews bows.

Even at 29/70, that bow is shooting super slow from it's advertised 320.
Lighten your arrow.. you should be at least 305.. it might get more with the lightest arrow possible.. but you can't beat it for $600 the bucks 😁

If you ever shot the Mathews switchback and XT back in he day. This is almost identical speeds but lighter and just as smooth. Great hunting bow. Not a speed bow!
I know THP isn’t too concerned about speed, but shooting a 350gr arrow at 70lbs 295fps, their heavy arrows are probably shooting 220’s-230’s pushing it.

For the record that is a LUT color thing from filming. That is a MOVIE look lol.
Bear needs to get with the program. Every bow they have made is pretty much the same, the washer style shim system has to go, start making faster bows again.
Keeps costs down and lower price to you.
