Love Bear but that's insanely slow, Mikes Archery sound test had it pretty loud, and MFJJ said it had a lot of vibration. Not seeing why anyone would buy this over some of Bears other offerings.
@@pjreilly3997 read ALL the comments. Guys are bagging on bear bows and this model of compound saying how slow it is, implying that somehow it won't get the job done. The longbow reference is me saying it is approximately 130 fps slower than this compound and it still kills deer every year.
People bagging Bear and this bow on speed, yet The Hunting Public are bagging monsters on public land with this same set up 😅 and not just whitetail either. They’re getting Elk, pronghorn, etc. I’m not sure what else they need to do to prove that you don’t need 340fps to be effective and ethical.
@@paulmurphy8705 I think the real point focus to your statements should be that in comparison to modern day compounds, this is slow. It is a fact, not an opinion based upon the general speeds of compound bows produced by the major companies. It is less desirable in a compound bow to have a slower bow when in the same price range you can have a faster boat that still does all the same things and provide you a more powerful option in a flatter trajectory. You’re a long is great for you and whoever chooses to use it. but your longbow shooting 167 ft./s is not a good option for a 40 yard shot on a deer or an elk for results for the average modern day Hunter. So like you’re referencing for others to chill out and relax maybe you should as well and realize the context of their comments. They are living in the present and future of technology and you were living in the past. Find a way to Bridge that. The speed of this bow and the loudness and other things is not a bow I would shoot to hunt for my style. I prefer higher speeds so I can shoot flatter trajectories when I have to guesstimate and I can shoot, hogs Whitetail deer elk moose with very similar arrow set ups. That’s simple and effective for me and I believemore easily done and consistent for modern hunters. Otherwise have a great day.
@@plastuu I think the point being made is not so much having an issue with the bow's actual speed but the large discrepancy between the bow's speed and the advertised IBO issued by Bear. Gets to the point where it's a matter of principle and borders on deception.
So this bow is not meant to be flagship quality. They still have those bows in their line, but this isn't one of them. People have different spend ceilings, which is fine. I actually spent time with this bow, set it up, tuned it and shot it at 20 yards, and then backed out to 60. It's not a junk budget bow. If this is the bow someone is able to afford, I can verify they absolutely can be successful with it. It does what it needs to do....
Man, I forgot this was even going down today. Looking forward to seeing what these guys brought out this year. Thanks guys.
PJ the sight lock is a PITA with an arrow in place
These are great bows. This is the 3rd chrono test I have seen. All were the same and way off IBO. Wish it was closer, but oh well
The Wheels on the Bus Go Round & Round.
PJ is still waiting for the arrow to hit the target
God Bless.
What wrist release are you shootin PJ
TRU Ball Execute
I swear they are making quality bow for less respect I will use my adapt plus to target my buck of a life time this year is 150

Holy $hit!!! That bow is 25-30fps under IBO? That's garbage, hard pass!
It’s no different than last years adapt bow
its a budget single cam what do you expect

piece of garbage bear use to make qaulity bows now they make junk budget bows to feed box stores like yours pj. get a clue
