I’ve driven the stock RS7 on many occasions... I’ve never really thought “this car could do with more power”. It’s a very quick car in stock from and a very nice place to be.
Nice to see a car channel host that isn't afraid to give the car a bit of right pedal =)
This generation Audi 7 will still look amazing in 10-15 years.
I like the new C8 A7, but I feel this one will age better.
Agree. Digital display comes and go in the car industry. With time, people will associate digital display with « cars from 2020-2022 » which will de facto make them look old already in 2027. It’s not a breakthrough tech like cruise control, a/c or gps each were in their time.

Very few guys track any car:) Especially 911's. RS7 as a road car is near perfection. Room for a family, big trunk and power to compete with super cars. However, I would take the 911 personally as I already have one! :)

Can't imagine ride quality all that great with those super low profile tires.
I love the "RS" Audi's they are so wickedly fast and comfortable, of coarse 10-15 years ago they were "sleeper" cars, with Ferrari's, Mustangs, Corvette's and the like thinking they could walk all over them (after all, "its just an Audi") and then the RS leaves them in the rear view, with them wondering "what just happened...." BUT these days, car people are a bit more in tune with these cars and they don't tend to underestimate them like they used to, so the result is a true battle, which can be good and bad (good in that it makes for exciting driving, and bad that police can spot them too which makes for exciting tickets), anyway Nick, Thanks for another great video, YES I watched to entire ad before your video, and YES i remembered to give it a thumbs up because it deserves it, your friend and loyal viewer....Milo

Nice review. I have an S7. The steering wheel is that way because they optioned the heated steering wheel, part of the cold weather package that includes heated rear seats. The normal steering wheel on the S and RS is a sport wheel, with flat bottom and increased grip bolstering. My least favorite feature is the plastic dash and upper door trim on a car at this price point.

677hp ain’t bad but ABT offers 730hp with a factory warranty! The RS6 Nogaro Edition even has 705hp... straight from the dealer
If you do the stage 1 you really need to do wide wheels and tires (car maxes out at 295/30r21), sway bars and an exhaust that deletes the resonators (Milltek is a great choice).
With the tune, better rubber, stiffer suspension and proper loud ass exhaust the gap between the tuned RS7 and base RS7 is like comparing the base RS7 to the A7.
I bought my RS7 in 2014 and put nearly 50,000 miles on it already, almost all of them with mods. So far I have had 0 issues.
How much are all those components? Im looking to buy a used RS7 hopefully something 2017-2018 by next year for 40+k cheaper.

Sexy Cruiser, I like it's design most, yeah M6 GC is good too, but i prefer this one, especcialy black and Matte grey fits very sharp for both before restyling and after rest Rs7

Good power to weight and proper acceleration. But numb wheel.
Compared to the Mini JCW I got. Which I could switch a few things between the two.

Hi Nick, I was thinking of getting a used S8 for the new real estate job but your RS7 video could convince me otherwise. I do need head room for the back seat which the RS7 doesn’t have and those low profile tires would go flat everyday in New Jersey pot hole filled roads, but I still want one and yes I would tune it

Does the interior seem dated? I want to get one but Audi has been using that interior forever...the new Audi interior is crazy, but I don’t have the patience or the money to wait and buy a new RS7 when the new one comes out...

6:00 Come on Nick, the new RS7 will have pretty much the same interior as the new A7, so no pop-out screen but 2 touchscreens instead. Not a fan of those myself, would prefer normal AC controls and an MMI wheel in addition to the main touchscreen.
Well made car and APR are excellent tuners. I do wonder how aged these will look in a few years with the new ones coming out. With a lot of Audi's homogenized now they seem to suddenly age poorly

I find it hard to believe that this car has a torque converter trans. Esp due to the speed of the shifts and the spark retardation pops on upshifts

It would have been better to have the shift light in a heads up display, not in between the gauges.
Needs cooled seats... makes no sense eliminating said option from the top dawg. Put my RS 5 on the road and it indeed eats up the miles, but I wasn't as comfortable as I would've been w/ cooled seats. Seems like a silly complaint, but now I am spoiled lol

The porsche has no where near the amount of power the RS7 has even with the tune turned off. I took the VP of sales of a Porsche dealership for a ride in mine with my tune turned off and he even said it's 1000 times better than the Panamera.....
I’ll keep my supercharged 5.0 Jaguar XF. This is a fast car but it’s lacking in charm or character. I am also surprised you didn’t mention how badly it pushes in corners.... it fights you all the way around a sharp turn
