    My wife and I bought our Winnebago coach during 2006, the service and experience is second to none. We had four RVs prior to Lichtsinn Winnebago. The Lichtsinn RV family commit to exceed the customer’s expectations. We even drive hundreds of miles for the service experience they provide. Nice job on this video.

    I would like to say Thank you for doing this video. My wife and I are considering a Winnebago View. We also have been looking at all the Rv dealers and researching them. We have just about decided to go to Lichtsinn Rv for pretty much all the same reasons as you have stated. We are going to wait a year or two until the mess of the virus is over. But your video is invaluable resource. We will be going to Lichtsinn Rv for sure. Thank you again.

      Glad it was helpful! We spent months researching and felt like Lichtsinn was our best option. I'm sure there are other great dealerships, I just liked the peace of mind of being so close to the factory if there was a major issue. You guys will love the View- we checked them out also, very roomy and much fancier than the Revel!

      Thanks for watching and the feedback! I think you can't go wrong with Litchtsinn, only downside is you do need to fly there and the potentially long drive home. The ability to have anything fixed onsite or at the Winnebago factory are a huge positive in my opinion.

    Excellent. Glad you both put this vid together. It pretty much echos my experience-right down to many of the accessories you purchased. I flew out from Florida on the 15th. Exhausting. Signed my paperwork. Had a bit to eat at Shooters. And stayed at the Cobblestone. BTW, I think the food store is called HyBee. Anyway, all went well. The weather was non-stop snow my entire visit, and SO beautiful. I left there on the 19th, and drove all the way back to Florida at a leisurely pace. Got home that Friday, the 22nd. Really enjoyed the drive back. I didn't have as much time, or opportunity, to test the rig before I left, as you both did. But so far, knock on wood, everything seems to be working. So, maybe I lucked-out with a good one! Thanks again for your videos. I used National RV Centers, you get the RV with a 1k+ miles on it because it is driven to their lot. I am fine with that because I would have done the same drive. This gives the dealership the opportunity to fix any problems. The also required 5k down with same price essentially, though a little less. The 5k is refundable! Everything else is identical. FYI, They use parts from Owl Vans and Agile, if upgrading. Safe RV’ing, hope to see you on the road.

    Very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to pass along what you've learned along the way. Have been hearing a bit of loose connection, system issue stories, etc. Good to hear dealer hung in there and did the right thing. I get the feeling for the most part, folks are still happy with the purchase. The Revel has the 4x4, bathroom/shower, garage combo that is what I am after. Don't see a viable alternative. Add to that my intention is it would be my daily driver, so I am going to take a lot more time researching. Did you test drive somewhere beforehand or just go for it?

    • @chrispnw2547
      @chrispnw2547 3 роки тому +2

      Initially I thought the Revel bathroom was a huge differentiator from the Storyteller until we tested the Revel van in person and spoke to owners. The bathroom area is very small (toilet and small wet shower space. A hard-walled narrow shower space in the middle of the van is not optimal in a short wheelbase Sprinter for an average or large person. Proof: How many Revel sales videos do you see where the salesperson steps into the space and demonstrates the available space to shower or use the toilet?
      The common Winnebago quality lapses experienced and not remedied by Winnebago will give some pause. Many of the Revel 'house' issues can be attributed to the speed in which the Revels are running through the assembly line.
      IMO The Storyteller is a more honest depiction on what showering / toilet use will be in such a small space. FYI if you tell your insurance company the van will be used as a daily driver your rates will be much higher than describing it as use for vacations /etc.
      Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

      They did offer one- it was a few thousand dollars. I turned it down, these are fairly simple rigs, the factory warranty is 12 months, I am running it hard during that time and will bring it back to Forest City if it needs anything during that time (so far no issues). Everything I've read tells me the extended warranty is a profit machine for the dealer. If you are remotely handy you can tackle the plumbing and electrical issues that may come up.

Basically you can get up to 30% off some manufacturers suggested price, depending on the dealership. Since Covid has blown up RV sales those discounts are getting much smaller as dealers are enjoying the strong supply and demand situation they are currently in.

      @@jasminewevers4589 there was a terrible vibration at 50 mph and above. In hindsight it was a mistake to not test drive and thoroughly check the systems before leaving Atlanta. We took it to a tire shop a few hundred miles into the trip & they put the tires on a Roadforce balancer which confirmed two tires (passenger front & rear) were badly out of round. You could even see it as they were spinning. Unfortunately, BFG did not honor the warranty and we had to pay out of pocket (maybe because they already had over 1k miles from delivery). The tire shop said they see this problem all the time on those vans. I highly recommend test driving it and if there's any vibration make the dealership replace them before you sign. Some tire shops might try and work something out with BFG, depending on how badly out of round they are (the tires cost about $250 each) but I wouldn't count on it. I'm so sorry to hear about your rig getting totaled, that absolutely sucks. The prices have gone up considerably since our October purchase- it sounds like anything below 147 is a good deal these days. Are you a member of the "Winnebago Revel 4x4" page on Facebook? People occasionally share good deals on there..
