Thank you so much to all of you for posting this video. One of the best Revel mod videos I’ve seen so far! Like a previous commenter, I’m also waiting to see if prices fall back down to earth on used rigs maybe next year. Right now it’s insane what dealers and the used market is pricing at!!
Thanks for the positive feedback! We were lucky that we got into our rig before the prices went crazy and the supply chain delays. No doubt the used market will come down in a few months as folks decide camping/vanlife is not for them. I would never pay what people are asking these days for the rig, they are simply not work that much.
@@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED thanks for the reply. I agree they are not worth the price people are asking right now but I’m wondering what is (or will be) a fair asking price on a used Revel from say 2019 or 2020 which I don’t believe have the lithium batteries?. Funny to think - there was a time when RVs actually depreciated in value over time !! ;)
Good video. I just added the Agile 28 gallon aux tank and we just installed heated seats (what a game changer). I was going to do the plasti dip on the side lights but decided to change the lights out with some really nice LED scene lights and also put one over each door and rigid lights on the front and rear. Did plasti dip on front star in Orange. Next is the Agile stop the sway kit.
@@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED OK, SMD work light short (over doors) SMD work light large x2, to replace side lights rigid pro lights x2 rear model 202113. the heated seat kits installed was about 477.00 very clean install with little button on front side of seat Hi, low and off they come on when you fire up the rig. Oh front lights mount right to the rack.
Another great video. Thanks for taking the time to post. I’m in the waiting game but plan on adding several of the items that Doug has added, and just learned some new tricks. One quick question is how did he get the same cabinet siding on the bed step? Thanks
Thanks for the positive feedback! Doug told me his wife took that original winnebago panel that was in place where the step mounts, cut it and added the hinges. (If you watch my step install video you can see the original winnebago panel comes off for the install) Doug's version looks much cleaner in my opinion.
@@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED Impressive. The only thing my wife could make is dinner reservations. Caught your funny comments about waiting for the van, and filing your Amazon cart, that’s exactly what I have been doing. Hard to believe you need to wait so long for $150k vehicle that you bought online.
The waiting is the worst part, the only good thing about it is that you can spend some time learning from other's mistakes or issues and hopefully have a good working knowledge of the rig and systems when you finally get it. Are you a member of the Winnebago Revel 4x4 group on facebook? That is a gold mine of info for owners.
Hello 😎 You mentioned a Purple mattress as a replacement for the OEM mattress. Did you need to cut at the head and foot ends? What size/model did you get? Thanks you for all the great vids!
@@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED Plastidip, like the rubber coating spray? Besides the metal van panels, what exactly did you have to cover with masking tape for it to work right? Did you have to disassemble anything before you started?
Yeah it was easy, just masked off the body, I opened the door all the way and sprayed the part that would be hidden when the door is closed fist. Let that set for a few hours, close the door and painted the long straight section. 3 years later it still looks good!!
Why Winnebago will not put the Volta System inside the Revel is any one’s guess? Revel would compete with Storyteller if they replaced the current lithium system to the Volta System. Right now, there is about an 18 months wait for a brand new Storyteller MODE.
I'm fine with the factory power setup in the 21/22 Revel. Occasionally when boondocking in very hot humid conditions I'll fire up the Honda 2200 to keep up with the AC, otherwise it's fine with the standard package. Can't speak to the 18 month wait for a storyteller, I prefered to get my Storymaker.
thank you for the video appreciate the time given but constructive criticism - can't hear with what that guy is saying, need more direct speaking into the video camera and less talking over each other. Does Doug have a channel or website where I can get/understand the detail of the upgrades?
Love the quality of work, but for a total investment of over 200k easily, that kind of toy is too expensive for me. if they truly go off roading with them, its expensive proposition. im guessing its mostly for show at campsites, im jealous.
We just got our Revel and found your channel. This guy Doug I watch him over and over to refresh my memory of the things he has done.
Yeah Doug went all in, I saw him about a month ago and he's added more!
@@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED Watching Doug again today to see what I had forgotten.
@@SteveLaVoy Have you done many mods to your rig?
Thanks Doug for sharing your ideas on MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED channel. My wife and I just got our REVEL and you have given us some great ideas.
Where are the links to all of his nifty upgrade gadgets?
I went to the Chattanooga Expo to get ideas for my older Econoline. This video is solid gold for ideas.

I love it…. We are finishing our Agile off road wish list and the Overlander GPS is DA bomb.
Y’all have a Great set up..
Thanks for this video. I learned a lot.
Can you post the flooring info when you find out?

Take the time and list the cool stuff....

Who’s front bumper is that with the 2” inch receiver?
Who did he say makes the topo decals he used?

where did he get those rear door blinders...
Canyon Adventure vans. They also make the doorganizer. very nice stuff
How did he black out the slider?!
Plastidip, I did the same to mine and it's holding up well after 3 years

Is that Seth Rogen narrating?
That's funny a few other commenters have suggested I sound like Seth.
