Absolutely go for it- the bathroom is very practical, I remember being a little concerned before picking up the rig, but after 2 years I'm completely happy with it..
My wife and I bought out Revel yesterday for my 1500 trip. Tonight I had to research why my toilet filled up after I took a shower and I'm drying off and I hear the toilet filling filling more... And oh good it's filled. Luckily the toilet has NEVER YET used it. But for the first trip out and a lot of money later, there is an issue. Finally, after reading and research hours of stupid videos. You GAVE ME MY ANSWER. So thank you and I will get er' fixed. 😂 And yes, I will subscribe. Haha

Thanks for the video, they've all been so helpful! I didn't know the vent had the up/down handle to open (oops). I agree the wet bath & use of space is ingenious. It's amazing to be on a mountain in 20 degree temps & miles from anything, enjoying a hot shower. The cassette is great for us, no need to worry about finding or paying for dump stations. Once we got the hang of it, emptying has been easy and painless.
Thanks for the comment- yep that bathroom is pretty cool. Yeah that vent will be a big help for you if you have damp stuff in there- open it up and let the fan air it out! There is something about a hot shower in the middle of nowhere that is pretty darn amazing. Love these rigs.

Very good video. Before I would take the cassette into a public place, I would sew a black cover to put over it so it looks like you're pulling a suitcase. Appreciate your pros and cons of a few things.
Honestly it's not a big deal, some people look and wonder what it is but I move quickly and get the job done. Emptying it before it's full is a good plan- it's lighter and you can just carry it rather than rolling it, draws less attention.
Wow, fantastic video! I always wonder whether the small bathroom would stink up badly after using the toilet (since no other UA-camrs ever mentioned whether the overhead fan is actually strong enough to remove unwanted odors)...AND the biggest question I've had is how do you wheel a cassette full of crap through a Starbucks, for example? Unless it's a rest stop (for example) where the door to the bathroom is outside the building, I can't imagine wheeling what's obviously a full cassette toilet through an establishment. You explained and demonstrated it well! Thanks so much.

We absolutely still love our Revel! I did add a third battery bringing it to 375AH, we can go up to 3 days without charging, in the summer the AC will kill the batteries so I have a small Honda generator. I need to make a long term review video- we have done a lot of practical upgrades. Suspension and mattress were the two that I highly recommend. You're gonna love the Revel.

Absolutely, it's very much like being in a airplane bathroom. Having a private bathroom was a must-have for the wife, this works perfectly and you will have privacy while you use it.

Great stuff. Thanks! How about a 90 degree elbow fitting in the shower wall so that hose isn't jabbing you the whole time? Should hang straight down and then loop back up to the nozzle. Seems like an easy fix?
Great video thanks! Would love a link to the upgraded hose nozel for outside shower. Its also easy to hang a curtain off back doors instead of purchasing the outside shower stall enclosure... I love your videos especially the one of your initial walkthrough with dealer when you took possession. Many other dealers did not do such a good job explaining the systems so I have referred lots of new Revel owners to watch your video and I refer back to it often. Thank you!!!!! Another great video,, im taking delivery in April and will test the RV in a camp site near the dealer so i can report any issues. Question of Shore water. when I hook up city water, how to i let it draing thru past the grey tank straight to the ground when im using sink and shower. Is that possible? or should i let it fill the grey tank first and then empty it from there. What the dimension size of the floor bamboo mat btw.. i need to get one at amazon. Thanks again

Can you keep the release open in the toilet as you are using it, or does that serve as keeping odor out? If that product helps to disintegrate/breakdown and no unpleasant odor, I would think you could leave it open so 'the stuff' doesnt accumulate in the bowl?
You can absolutely leave it open as you are using the toilet, but you should shut it when you are done. We've never had any issues with odor inside the van- it's a super efficient system.

Hello, can you actually close the bathroom door if you need to use the toilette? Is that discrete enough if you use the toilette and you have couple people with you inside the van ?
I may be very naive, but that toilet looks like the solids would stick to the side of the bowl unless you had a perfect aim, so to speak. Without much water, how do you even brush the sides of the bowl down. It’d be awful if you had to scrub the bowl each morning, twice?? I love Winnebagos, but not sold on that bathroom. So sorry, but glad it works for you.
It works great, after 3 years no complaints. The water flush does a good job cleaning the bowl. I guess if you had a couple chili cheese hotdog's from a truckstop you could use the shower head to really blast it, but we've not had to resort to that.
Hello, I just picked up my new Revel last week. Anyone have an easy 1, 2, 3 step instructions about how to work the solar system? When I start my Revel diesel engine, what are the settings and sequence for the knobs and buttons controlling the solar system? 1st do this...2nd do this...3rd do this...etc...turn this knob...push this button. I am confused and do not want to damage the system. Then when I shut down the van overnight, but not staying in the van...1st do this...2nd do this... Then I turn off the Sprinter Diesel engine but I’m staying in the van for the day or night. Turn off the Diesel engine...then do this...1st do this...2nd, etc. The batteries are not supposed to get below 10%...how do I avoid this? Sorry, I have read the manual over and over and still not sure what I am doing. Any help is appreciated. Wish Winnebago had a easy 1, 2, 3, 4 instructions for all systems. The manual is too out of sequence to me
Greetings- the electrical systems on the Revel are a little overwhelming, I'm surprised your dealer didn't go over things with you. I never touch the solar controller- it's been on since I got my rig almost a year ago. The only thing I do is turn off the inverter from the Xantrex panel inside the van when I'm not using the AC or 110v outlets. That's it- the solar panels will maintain the lithium batteries if you have a decent amount of sun, otherwise I plug it into shore power if I'm parked for a few days. I would strongly recommend you join the "Winnebago Revel 4x4" group on facebook- its filled with a ton of information and there are experts there that will walk you through any question or concern you might have!

great video , on a priority #1 subject matter will subscribe to your channel. sadly other youtubers do not explain these matters in detail because they are not fancy subjects for the idealistic wannabe camper . REAL people have my thumb up thinking of putting an order for a revel
It's best to do it at ones that have it near the entrance. In/out and hardly anyone notices. Compared to finding a place to dump a black tank in a regular RV this is a breeze.

The shower drains into the 20 gallon graywater tank, small drain in front of the toilet..

Absolutely, the door can be closed while you do your business. The toilet rotates 90 degrees.

No I have not done any more undercoating- it's held up well and I'm glad I did it before putting on some miles in nasty weather!

Greetings- the electrical systems on the Revel are a little overwhelming, I'm surprised your dealer didn't go over things with you. I never touch the solar controller- it's been on since I got my rig almost a year ago. The only thing I do is turn off the inverter from the Xantrex panel inside the van when I'm not using the AC or 110v outlets. That's it- the solar panels will maintain the lithium batteries if you have a decent amount of sun, otherwise I plug it into shore power if I'm parked for a few days. I would strongly recommend you join the "Winnebago Revel 4x4" group on facebook- its filled with a ton of information and there are experts there that will walk you through any question or concern you might have!

Yeah that's tough, you pretty much would have to get an outdoor setup for showering..

It's best to do it at ones that have it near the entrance. In/out and hardly anyone notices. Compared to finding a place to dump a black tank in a regular RV this is a breeze.
