    That’s awesome, without the shelves, you could definitely fit a 1/2 scale statue

    Thanks for doing these. Moducase videos are few and far between.
    I'm glad to see some acrylic shelving in these finally but do you know the weight limit? Like can those support a PF or a Prime1 statue?

      @thecollector7347  4 роки тому

      Im not sure on the weight limit for the shelfs. I wouldn't suggest you do a half shelf for anything heavy. full shelf I think could get the weight. I'll try with one of my own statues. If you feel weight is an issue and you want a display case of this size, I would suggest 2 DF 60. that would hold a statue no problem.

    Heya. I was just trying to install a shelf after I already ran the wire. How did you get around the issue with the wire running down the inside of the rail? I ended up taking my back corner bracket off and putting it on the side of the shelf and using the back rail of the shelf next to it.

      I use a little Tac, and that will help to keep the wire inside the rail or just on the outside of it. the wire and rail are black, so it can hide it pretty easily even when its ran just on the outside of the rail.

    could ants or other insects get inside these cases or are they sealed pretty good?

    Can you put a heavy statue on top of that case? How much weight can it hold on top? Thinking of getting for a couple of 1/3 statues, one inside, the other on top of the case. Your collection is awesome! Thanks!

      Hey. I did cover that in other videos. you would need to put a board/wood on the top first to act as a brace/shelf. then you can put something on top

      are you talking about the mounting hardwire to put it on the wall? if so, they don't come with the shelfs unless you order them

    Dude do you know you could get hot toys for the price of these display cases... These display cases cost as much as the toys you going to put in them. Not absolutely believe they're not worth it at all I'll stick to the Ikea stuff and just make that dust proof...and on top of that the Ikea shelves are actual glass this thing is like plexiglass which means if you wipe it down wrong you already scratched it absolutely not worth it...

    • @thecollector7347
      @thecollector7347  3 роки тому

      I think your opinion matters but I don't necessarily agree with it. moducase has never spontaneously shattered/combusted like IKEA detolfs have. I have children and I don't like the idea of that glass becoming an issue. and if you're careful like most collectors are, you wouldn't scratch them. yes they are pricy, 100% agree. but its the best protection I ever had in a display case, ( I have owned many types ) and much like warranty on expensive and valuable things in life, it's worth it to me to keep my collection safe. lets remember " worth " is in the eye of the beholder, and like opinions they vary from person to person. happy collecting.

    • @jrios662
      @jrios662 3 роки тому

      @@thecollector7347 well you had me at the concern for your children.. that would definitely be priority.. but what I look at is the material is made out of and I just don't the materials that they're using accumulating to such a high price tag.. and if anybody else would have access to the same material for cheaper price they could create the same displays at that cheaper price...and if you see the same of two things and once for $190 and one's for $90 believe me you're going to pick up the ones for $90...they came up with a really nice display but you got to protect it with quality and the way you price them... But I got to admit the cases are really really nice and they're light up feature looks like one of the best things on them...

    • @thecollector7347
      @thecollector7347  3 роки тому

      @@jrios662 I would agree, if your able to find the material you could do it cheaper, like anything else. its cheaper to build your own house if you know how to do that. but how many times will you cut the material or measure it wrong before the cost of doing it yourself outweighed the cost of having someone else do it for you? ( I've seen that happy actually ). for me they are worth the cost, but that's going to be different from person to person. but no one is in this hobby because its cheap, no matter what display case they get.

      @@jrios662 totally disagree. if you’re spending thousands of dollars on high end collectables it only makes sense to display them properly with a display they deserve. i’d happily sacrifice a few figures in order to have a display case like this. it just adds so much to the display, definitely worth it. quality over quantity in my opinion.
