- In this video we look at the DF120 from moducase. You'll see how to assemble it and check out a lot of different collectables inside it. This case is part of a future release with some cool upgrades. This particular display case measures L47.2” D23.6″ H25.6
I built 3 of these and they were an absolute pain in the arse. Great looking cabinets, but not fun to build at all.
I also found they didn't supply the right equipment for the spotlights, not enough of the sticky railings to hide the cords.

Thanks for the great tour and I still can't wait for the delivery of my DF120s ... I assume they'll have the lip on the edges (in production right now). I'll def. wear shoes when mounting these. 😊 Looks ace in your collection, thanks for doing this huge effort on showing all the details and options!

Pass on the tos Pic. But great video dude. No one explained how the front cover worked. If it was a door hinge or what. I have a bring new MX150 in the box and said to myself holy F. I don’t no how to access the statues. Does this plexi slide in. If so I don’t have the ceiling high to do that. So thank you for you video dude

Have you ever added the weight enhancement to df60 and df120 modules and, if so, at what point during assembly would you complete it?
Hey. so I haven't had the need to add anything to these when it comes to weight, they hold what I collect perfectly as they come. if you collect a lot of 1/1 busts or big statues then you might want to look at their Maxx ones

Nice video. I'm so jealous about that Link on Epona. When he came out I skipped it because it was something like $475 and at the time I thought that was way to pricey for a 1:4.

Thank you for this very detailed instructions on how to build DF120 ..quick question..would you recommend this case for larger scale statues ..1/4 scale figures...if im trying to display 2 or 3 in one case..or what case would you recommend..right now i have ikea besta cabinets which are good but im running into a problem with space..and have dust issues..which i find myself cleaning my statues ..these cases a seem like the perfect solution..thanks again for giving us collectors different options for displaying our collections
Hey! The DF series is the best one they make for larger collectables ... you can also look into the MAX series if what you have is very heavy. But It sounds like DF120 is the best size for you
Thank you for showing this, really helpful! One question, at the moducase checkout on their website, did you do the option "LED strips with 1 amp power" or the second option which is "LED strips with power - supports up to 3 units"? Thanks and keep up the good work!
hey, it depends how many lights you have, you can always upgrade the power supply if you get more lights tho

LOL mate, the middle frame, you dont need to keep twisting it in like that. There is a drilled hole on the other side of the horizontal frame. You lined up the hole with the screw on the midde frame and just use the screwdriver that came with the case to screw it in.
I know, but I can screw it in faster by twisting the rail then I can rotating a screw driver
How many figures do you think can fit in each df120 if you do three rows with risers and with figures close together?
I dont like my figures to close together, that why I got a moducase. I could push it to 20 figures myself, I think someone who doesn't mind figures shoulder to shoulder In museum pose could push that to 25-30

Did the 2 LED strip lights come with the 'LED strip lighting' option or did you have to buy another separately?
these come with all the lights you need
Not a fan of how dirty that felt material is. Can I use the clear acrylic shelfs instead of the velvet stuff?
Not for the base, you need that as its a board and just lays in place

Hi, I am thinking about buying 3 DF120 stacked on top of each other with LED lighting option. It might be called differently over here but what exactly is "tac" that hides the wires? Sorry if it sounds like a silly question. Also is there a way to connect all 3 case lightning to the same plug or will I need 3 plugs? And is it safe not to wall mount 3 high? Have you wall mounted them? I'm hopeless with a drill, that's all.

hey! no need to wall mount 3 stacked on top of each other, and you can daisy chain those lights! ( I'll have a good example of that uploaded soon in my new wall combo. google " blu tac" that will be what you're looking for

Do you have kids? How childproof are these types of displays? I definitely need to upgrade my display to keep the kids and toys safe

Hey, are the LED light strips "pure white" or "warm white"? I see both listed on the Moducase website, and was wondering which one you chose. Thanks.
I got the pure white ones. very nice and lights up great
How much weight can these support, I know they are stackable so would that effect the amount of figures you can put if you were to put a case on top of another
hey, stacking doesn't really mean you have to watch the weight, they hold there own. but check the website for recommended load capacity. statues would be the only thing you'd want to double check, but I'm sure these are fine for whatever fits inside

Hey, for the df120, do you think it's necessary to get the enhancement for 30kg if I just want to display 6th scale figures?
hey! you dont need to upgrade that weight, they are able to hold 6th scale figures no problem

I have a few question, I am a fellow Hot Toys (1/6) collector. How come you choose the DF120? And which lights did you choose? And why?
I already had a display system made up of 3 DF120 and 6 DF60. I just wanted a few more DF 120 for bigger items. I have the video of the sixth case coming soon
I got the pure white, not sure why I went that way, but I love them

Hey, do you happen to know how much each DF60 or DF120 weigh? I’m thinking of getting some and considering raising them so they aren’t sitting on the ground .
I think their weight is on the site, but they really aren't to bad weight wise.

Idk how you got the back top piece on so easy?! It was a b**** to get on! 22:35 Getting them in the rails was so frustrating! But I managed to get it eventually with help but dam. Big oof!!

Most likely yes, but depends on the statues I think
I’d recommend getting the Max series for 1/4 scale
Absolutely not. You’ll need 2 max150s with one additional shelf each to fit 4 1/4 scales. That’s what I ordered for my Prime 1 statues

How thick are the acrylic sheets?
they are pretty thin. roughly 1/4 of an inch

When did you order this one?
I ordered a DF130 and then got these to ship with it, they are part of a future release that I got to give feedback on. Moducase normally takes 4-6 months to ship your order.
Can you put 1/4 statues in these cases?
These are DF series they’re mainly for 1/6 scale
For 1/4 scale you’ll need to get the Max series
these DF series are not " meant " for 1/6th figures, the sixth scale ones are. Depending on size you could get 1/4 scale figures in this
