Here I talk about a few display cases for 1/6 collecting. I'll take you through some of the most popular ones and talk about my own personal experience with them.
Thank you! I been looking at the Moducases for my Lego collection. Currently using a combo of Vittsjo and Billy shelves. The Moducases look awesome and after seeing some Lego collections displayed, I am sold on them.
depends on what model you get. they have DF. sixth and MAX shelfs. and you can enforce them to hold even more weight. these DF come able to hold 30 pounds, and you can increase it to 60 if need be
Has anybody ever told you that you look like Hawkeye from the Avengers movies? Anyways, thank you for being pretty much the only person making quality videos on these Moducases! Keep it up.
I hope maducases come out in white soon. White looks cleaner than black and reflects light way better. That’s the reason I haven’t got them yet but no word on if they will make white versions from what I know
Nice Collection! Question: at 14:44 mark, Your lazy boy display case…..have you had any issues putting HulkBuster on that glass shelf? I believe the Hot Toys model is 25 lbs. I have a display case very similar to your Lazy Boy and seems a bit scary putting HulkBuster on there. Thanks
The sudden bursts that happen with Ikea cases is often caused by people placing a heavy statue on top of the wooden panel of the display case. It causes too much pressure on the glass and BOOM!
Oh! Really? I just ordered one Detolf (I live in Spain) and recently I read a lot of comments saying that the Detolf suddenly bursts. Thanks! What you said makes a lot of sense
Sigh. I am starting to need a display case. I always thought the Ikea Detolf would be the way to go but after hearing multiple accounts of them exploding I am not interested in tempered glass displays anymore. Each of the Scale figures I own and have currently preordered go for $300-$600 each second hand, not cheap end scale or prize anime figures. So having them fall because of a compromised tempered glass is a big nope. I think the depth of the Moducase sixth98 would work well in my game room, but the price with acessories puts it pretty high up there for someone who isnt a serious collector.
Those Moducases are the best ones so far. Very clean design and great lighting. Look like museum display cases.

It is also true that they said that they bursts because they screwed it too much and the heat also affects

agree with you, why pay all this money for collectables and not protect them.
