We took Milena and Louis on the bus into Palma, getting off in Plaza España.
We visited the military culture centre to see a painting exhibition and a look inside the church of Santa Margalida where we saw the Knights Templar tombstone.
From there we went down San Miguel to Plaza Mayor, with the ladies calling into many shops!
Lunch was at Aspas Cafe and was ver good, as usual.
C&A was on the agenda after lunch, which is where I left them to is and mad my way through the backstreets to the bus stop.
Thanks for watching.

Hello Steve, I was actually visiting Palma from Monday to Thursday this week ... due to a knee fracture could not make it ... by the look of the weather it was for the best ... lol 😊
Wishing you a speedy recovery
Thank you Steve 😊
Looks like you missed the worst of the rain Steve! Saw a couple of videos from the Airport - looked horrendous!! Hope it clears for Saturday😂
Grey skies today but no rain at the moment.
Were you affected by the heavy rain and floods?
Not at all and we were in Palma at the time. Very localised over the airport.
Saludos..
Gracias Eduardo
I thought that there were some really good paintings in the military museum, very well painted. It’s a shame that it has been raining for your visitors but I’m sure that they are having a great time. Thanks Steve.
A little respite from the heat of the previous days
Love the Gaudi building on the corner 😊
We have some wonderful architecture here.
In these complicated times when the vast majority live in an almost invisible survival mode, culture in all its forms has become a luxury. It requires a certain level and knowledge to understand and appreciate art. As with so much else, everything in our western society has flattened, watered down, woke and climate nonsense is now more important, although in the European elections the young people have spoken and punished the existing order and maybe we will return to normal as before, it was not ideal but much more livable than now.
There is so much beauty if the world that we need to focus on
Been there today. Beautiful place
Absolutely
Place is best of Mallorca
Thank you
Just found your channel. Absolutely love Mallorca but haven’t been for 2 years. Have you filmed any videos at Lluc?
We haven't, thanks for pointing it out
I love churches too steve so interesting. Dublin has some great cathedrals
Mallorca has its fair share!
