Mercadona prices change as per the region. For example, Madrid region prices are higher than Andalucia. Also, flat rents in Madrid and Barcelona are touching the roof. You will end up paying 50-60% of your salary in rent. It is now hard to get a 1 bedroom apartment for less than 1000 euros.
You may be able to share the apartment and pay around 500 euros plus utilities.
Hey, I agree with you about apartment prices. In my video, I already mentioned that I'm currently paying 520€ for just a room on an island, whereas I used to pay 325€ for a four-room apartment in Galicia. (So yeah it’s 50-60% of the salary) The housing prices indeed ‘vary’ significantly by city and are quite high in some areas especially Madrid, Barcelona and the Islands.
Regarding Mercadona, the prices of seasonal fruits and vegetables can differ across regions based on local production, for example on Island they have different fruit production than in Extremaduras (another state.) However, in my experience traveling across 7-8 states of Spain and living in 2, I've found that Hacendado products like bread, cheese, and butter tend to have kinda consistent pricing across most regions. Although It's good to know that Mercadona is cheaper in Andalucia!

Hi Sneh, I really appreciate your content, but I noticed there isn't much detailed information about studying in Spain on UA-cam. It would be super helpful if you could make a video covering the top universities in Spain, the cost of living and tuition fees, and whether it's possible for students to earn enough to cover their living expenses and tuition through part-time work. I think this information would benefit a lot of students considering Spain as a study destination. Thanks for all the great content!🎉

You can find accommodation in Spain through “Idealista, Fotocasa and Facebook rental groups.” Rest I made a studio apartment’s video of Madrid and link is mentioned in the description, you can talk to owner if they can rent you for 3 months. I hope it helps!

Hey, thank you for supporting my channel🌸 I didn’t go for studies, so I can’t say which universities are easier to get into. However, I’ve seen that people prefer public universities in Spain for higher studies, and my friends who studied there told me that some courses are available in English. In private universities, they generally offer courses that are fully conducted in English for International students. However, my friends say it’s better to have at least a B2 level in Spanish, as it can sometimes be difficult to communicate with local classmates, and some mandatory subjects are only taught in Spanish.
I hope it helps you to make a research accordingly, although I’ll try to make a video on this soon with some researches and my personal experience:)

Hi Sachin, for an individual minimum 1500€ is required in order to have a normal lifestyle there. Also, yes if you’re officially working somewhere in Spain (except being illegally there) you have to pay taxes!
Valencia is cheaper ?
No it’s not as I think as housing is expensive in Valencia as it’s one of the most preferred place on the mainland due to its proximity to the water.

Hey, try to get a studio apartment or Airbnb, and you can negotiate the price with the owner. Sometimes the airbnb owner reduce it if you rent for a long period. I would say you need at least 800-900€ for a month, but it all depends on your rent and consumption. I hope this helps. You can find Airbnb references in my Madrid vlog (if you want to stay in Madrid!)
