Thank you for sharing your wonderful journey. I leave from Seattle two weeks from today to cruise from Lisbon, Portugal, to Antwerp, Belgium, for two weeks. I’ve been to Europe a number of times, but never to see it from the water! At age 86, I always hope “this won’t be the last” but since I plan to live many more years, who knows! I’ll also get the opportunity to walk the last 4 miles of the Pilgrim’s Walk into Santiago de Compostela, the resting place of St James. The full 500 miles has been on my bucket list, but maybe 4 miles will have to suffice! Journey on, you travelers! I hope to learn from your documentation! And now I need to get my 4 miles in for today! ( From Vancouver, Washington).

We will be there next week arriving via ferry at 4:30 am which is really early 😀 we reserved a taxi pick up but wondering if we have to walk for 2 miles to the taxi station or taxis would be waiting at the same area as shuttle busses? it would be really helpful to know, thank you!!
Thank you!! That'll be so much fun, have a blast! We got off the ship around 8am, we took a shuttle bus from the cruise port, but there were plenty of taxis waiting too. You’re going to have the best time! We got a few hundred Euros from our bank before our trip (best exchange rate) Most everywhere takes Card, but a few places it came in handy, also tipping at places!

I’m soooooo jealous. I’ve been to Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Lisbon and Madrid to name a few but I wish instead of Madrid I would have went to Barcelona and the coast of Spain!! How’s your dad/mom with all the walking?
After I finish watching yesterday’s video, I had a serious medical event going on. So I rushed to the ER and I diagnosed with pneumonia. They going to admit me to the hospital. But now I’m recovering and have to go home in a few days.

The round stained glass window I’d the called the Rose Window. You will find this in many churches, and cathedrals. We believe, as Catholics, that Jesus is truly present in the Tabernacle on the altar. So happy you visited this. In Barcelona, be sure to visit Familia Sagrada, the most amazing Catholic cathedral designed by Gaudi in Barcelona

We are just back from 11 days in Mallorca, we travel there twice a year with our children. I spent my entire childhood summers there so it’s nice to revisit. Such a beautiful place to see if you can come back sometime soon!

If I remember, didn’t Dan and Chelle visit that area of the cathedral and Mallorca when they were on their venture a year or two ago? If not it was a very similar place.

So amazing!! It boggles the mind when you think how old the cathedral and bath house is and that it’s still standing!! Can you imagine building it back then! Unbelievably amazing and beautiful! Again thank you so much for taking us along.

Is there a cruise that goes all around the world
There sure is! There are actually a few cruises that go all around the world! 🌎🛳️ They're called world cruises and typically last for several months, visiting dozens of ports on multiple continents! Royal Caribbean actually offers one called the 'Ultimate World Cruise' and it's the longest cruise in the world!! Its itinerary visits all seven continents and lasts 274 nights 🛳️🌙 We're not quite at that status yet 😜 but put it on the bucket-list for sure!
