Cool ! Most of mechanics are just spare changers.

Hello Ruben .. is there a repair kit for a turbo charger .. or that a damaged turbocharger becomes beyond repair after it malfunctions .

What did you use to seal the tube to the engine? I see a black rubber connector? I don't think you mentioned that. Thanks for your videos!

Please, can you talk about eac part of the turbo unit itself. I see compressor wheel, turbine wheel. but that is all i know. Oil in oil out.ok this i understand. but this is all. Yes i got a problem. ECU see a boost pressure issue. Does not say where. Garage would not tell me as such. MAP good. clutch switch good. I have no egr. Yet i get limp mode in 4th or 5th gear only. 1 2 3rd gears are just perfect. but hit 4th or 5th. then limp mode. This is all i know. Over boost.? If so, car feels slow when starting my drive. confused. good, then I am even more confused.

Waste gate stuck open? Letting all your boost leak away giving you little to no power. This can be tested manually at home without diagnostics

@@01blackhills Found the issue, the Tmap sensor was contaminated with oil and the Electronic transducer was also replaced. Then the entire van came back to life.

This isn’t a turbo pressure test at all. It’s instead all about crank case pressure testing. Disappointing….

Still crank case pressure can cause turbo oil seal failure so kinda important

Hey Robin, followed your procedure exactly as you demoed on my 2008 Peugeot 308 1.6lt turbo. I started the car , 'idle' only and all the fluid shot straight out of the tubes, left and right. What a 'f*%k up.....! Almost a few CC's of coolant down into my sump. Do you realise how little pressure it takes to move the liquid just 1 segment , positive or negative - a fairy's breath is all it takes.my engine must have a major problem.
Guys be very careful when doing this 'test' - you'll have liquid down your oil tube before you wink an eye. Terribly disappointed.
