Due to the overwhelming amount of emails and direct messages I receive asking for me to help you guys get a job as a pilot I figured I'd just post my reply here. I am just the host of this show. I connect with people who have interesting jobs to help facilitate a conversation and showcase some neat behind the scenes. I have no more information other than this video that I can personally provide. Thank you so much so watching!
Great Video! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you thought about - Rozardner Flying Bird Reality (do a search on google)? It is a good exclusive guide for how to get pilot license without the headache. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my m8 finally got great results with it.
@@carmenrincones7318 As mentioned in my above comment I don't have any additional insights or information to provide. I created this video to spark conversation and to learn and that's it. Hopefully someone else can guide you further. Take care :)
Thanks for the video I'm from Colombia and I'm studying to be an aircraft maintenance technician. however, I'd like to be a pilot someday the only problem is that here in Colombia is expensive. But it's a dream that I've to achieve.
@@OliviaG Haha unfortunately no, i'm just a student currently and I got scared when he said that you need 20/20 vision to be an air force pilot, then I went and found something on the government website to put myself at ease.
absolute well done to the captain for this video, but airplpanes are maintained better than tanks haha tanks may fare better with some eqiupment and this but an aircraft can only run with a certain amount of equipment offline to fly, otherwise they are not able to fly, that is in europe anyway, i just think that is how it should be around the world, no shortcuts, just minimal instruments flying if needed, otherwise they should have the minimum flying instruments.
So... I want to be a pilot but can't find any colleges that I like. I found CAE, in Oxford thought. I want to become a pilot in Canada. Is it hard to transition an ATPL license in Canada? I also saw that most jobs in Canada require an aviation degree. Do you think going to CAE will be enough to be a pilot in Canada? Thank you.
There are many universities in the UK that offer similar programs. The University of Leeds, University of the West of England, Staffordshire University, Brunel University London, University of Hertfordshire, University of Nottingham, Kingston University London, University of Sheffield, University of Salford, University of Liverpool. However, most Canadian pilots get there licenses (PPL, CPL) from a normal flight school, and if you have enough hours that is enough to get hired. However, the best chance to get a job as a pilot is to go through the military including the RAF. After receiving the education and serving for the required time (don't know how long) you can transfer over to the commercial world.
So when I get my first recreation license, are there pilot odd jobs that I can do to fill up my hours while making some money to pay for the next lessons?
I can’t help you there as I’m just the host of the show! Maybe someone else will see you comment and know the answer. Or a simple google search might do the trick?
200 subs with 6 vids challenge yes, all pilots are required to have a good understanding of english, it’s the language you use to communicate with atc and other pilots
yousif elaf you have to get a university degree in mechanics serve 10 years and then transition to civilian pilot worth only if you enjoy military you will fly f22 f16 it’s awesome
As a 737 pilot in Europe I can confirm so much of what he said was simply incorrect. Dispatchers do NOT check the weather, NOTAMS etc. for us, it's the pilot's responsibility to ensure everything is in order. To say pilots are button pushers and coffee drinkers is ridiculous. We are responsible for the safety of the entire flight, a better way to put it is we are flight managers. We solve complex problems, make critical decisions and ensure we utilise good CRM skills to be as safe as possible. Sure, the actual hands-on flying in airlines is fairly limited, maybe 4-5 minutes per flight, but being a pilot is so much more than that. Do not listen to this guy, he's pretty clueless.
Exactly, I couldn't believe my ears. Bashing his own profession. No pride in his work. Pilots are not button pushers and coffee drinkers as he puts it. They monitor the progress of the flight and if there is ever an emergency the skills they have helps to bring the aircraft safely on the ground. On a routine basis the decision making is what makes a good pilot.
I’m looking at it through a positive lens that I’ve been able to start a business during this time. So what’s meant to be will be I suppose haha! What about you? What have you been up too?
@@OliviaG Sounds great and promising. To be honest with you Olivia, I'm fairly lost in my life right now; I was supposed to make my one way trip to Montréal in March, just 4 days before international borders got closed, therefore I'm stuck in Paris since that time, with my flat being empty while I count days to get in Canada as I lost my jobs opportunities there. Sounds terrible right ? Moreover, there has been discussions about some new immigration rules in Quebec which are really unfair to most of the people out there making permanent residential status almost impossible to get. So I'm actually thinking about moving in British Columbia to pursue my 'Canadian Dream', which involves finding a new job there, a appartment rent, resume my pilot career in there and so on... Starting from zero, all over again. Do you know anything about Kelowna city ? To be honest, I'll take any tip you have. 😉

Can you please advise me on Select Aviation College, Drummondville, Quebec and about their IATPL course?
Do I have to be Canadian to work in airline in canda if iam from Egypt ?!
As long as you have a permanent resident card or a passport and work visa.
my dream job is to become a airline or commercial pilot 🙏 what’s the difference between commercial and airline pilots?
Commercial just refers to getting paid to fly. Airline pilots are commercial pilots they just happen to fly passengers or cargo
So when I get my first recreation license, are there pilot odd jobs that I can do to fill up my hours while making some money to pay for the next lessons?
You could be a skydiver pilot and a certified flight instructor. more info online if you search up: jobs for pilots under (the amount of hours)
In Canada you cannot be paid for flying without a Commerical Pilots License (CPL)
this is my dream but I cant afford it😥
I agree. I was considering but it seems too costly and stressful for me. Already got enough stress in my life as is
What can i do if I’m already a commercial pilot and i want to go to Canada and work there?

Does university of Toronto also have the aviation program with you can get your license at the same time?
No, it does not. The University of Waterloo is the best option in the GTA.
ik i’m kinda late but do i have to go to university or can i go to college to be a pilot?
No, you can go through a private flight school.
Get a green card in the us. Should I say more?
