I wanted to make this back in college almost a decade ago but I seriously lacked the skills and money. Thank you for this tutorial. I wear glasses, so masks are difficult and I have breathing problems so I’ve always wanted to make these. Look… form and functions and coolness matters a lot.
Another tip. After applying Front Facing Vertexes only to your brush, press the brush icon and Hit save. It will save for next time. I find having it on by default is less work than having it off. Awesome tutorial! Thanks
0:54 this tip just gave me a ton of ideas! I'm working on making the spine, snakes and an eye that go with the witch's book from Hocus pocus. Thanks for the great tutorials!
dude you just helped me out alot! i had this 3d model from vroid that i was trying to make a mask for but the in app methods to do that was using hair. i was struggling then recently i remembered about nomad sculpt. imported the model and tried to make the mask at 1st i was using tubes but was stuck at filling in😅. then searched up mask videos and found this😂. thanks for the save its a great video!
@@abovewongart hey there i have a question regarding remeshing. i imported my vroid model to nomad sculpt to try to mold a mask on the face using masking but any time i tried to remesh even bought the quad remesh it turns the part of the vroid model completely white which makes it hard to see. also how do change the sculpted parts to look like different materials like metal or something. if possible can you make a video about it! vroids on the ipad and you can export and import models to nomad
Hi, can you please more slow down , I have to play back on speed 0.25 it still fast, but little by little I can catch up, even make headache and back of my the neck is tense 😄,but I'm so happy can be done until the teeth part still make me confuse, still waiting for my 3D printer so I can show you the result. would you please make another video more but a little slower 😆, thank you, your awesome
El vídeo es muy bueno y he aprendido mucho pero me gustaría que fuera un poco más despacio pues no hablo inglés y es más difícil seguirlo pero el vídeo es muy bueno. Muchas gracias 😁👍
Really appreciate the tuto but is it really necessary to make a „so fast“ tutorial? The tiktok style? Seems like you are in a rush and loose quality imo..
Thank you . I edit like this cause most of my audience thinks this fast or faster. Tiktok pays way more than UA-cam too. I model the speed of the STEM feed.
Printed out my first oni mask. Appreciate everything you do. Its amazing to hold your own creations in your hand
Thank you so much for the support! You made my day

Awesome tuts loving my own trial and error now. Thank you!
Why do my Nomad Icons and menu look so different? I have more options and such which really distracts me when following this tutuorial
same for me, every tutorial has a different version of nomad, and every version of nomad has a totally new interface, ver confusing.
very helpfull video ... alot of information straight to the point!!!
Thank you so much! I'm so relieved I communicated each step ok

I’m making my own mask by watching your videos
Letz go!!!!! I'm so happy that you are making your own
Thanks for the info and great video. I just got this software yesterday and love it.
Question? When I go to trim, it fills the mask when trimming it half way to make an oni style. how can I change this?

Can you share the brushes dos land link?
Where can i get human head template from ?
Thingiverse has some that is measured to the exact head by Baldwin I think I can't recall.
It is already included in Nomad. Watch where he gets it from in the video.

How do you know what size to print it so that the mask fits you?
If you watched the video you'd see that he explains this...
