John hit the nail on the head with this one. Kate's voice was unlike anything before or since, but somehow she made it work and has touched people with all sorts of musical tastes. That's a true artist. It's hard to believe Britain was falling in love with Kate around the same time they were going crazy for The Pistols.
She expressed emotion as well as if not better than 99% of artists. Every time I hear her sing my spine tingles and I get goose bumps everywhere, she was an incredible singer.
My friend Fraser him and his family's GP was Kate's dad Robert Bush who worked in South East London in Plumstead. And we used to speak to him loads when he finished work or when we was in Kent in Bexleyheath,Welling, Dartford, Swanley, Chislehurst, Orpington etc, on our bikes. He sometimes gave us a lift back to Kent from Plumstead-Such a nice man! + sometimes said hello to Hannah as well and she would make us massive jug of orange squash + met Kate/Del Palmer few times etc Great memories I will always cherish! 🥰 Where you from??

I saw a magazine about Kate Bush about a year ago and there was a quote from John Lydon about how brilliant "Hounds of Love" is. I wasn't surprised. He always gives props to sincere/talented/brilliant people.
