Your dodging skills are immaculate, That being said a boss that forces you to dodge this much seems insane. I've been trying to beat him recently and even with the right stats to optimize the thorns the sheer nature of just trying to get a single hit off at all without being obliterated makes this one of the hardest fights I've ever seen.
Watch the players that do runs with no damage if you want to learn how to dodge these abilities. I just killed consort with Thorns after struggling with him for a while now. Im at level 290 playing on NG+3 I respeced to 70 arcane to get the damage numbers up and the rest of the stats are at 40-50. Used mask of varree, the alberich robe and bracers, and Raksasha grieves. Talismans were Lord of bloods exultation, Scorpian Magic charm, Aged One's Exultation, and the graven mass talisman. Before the fight I use Shabriris howl till madness triggers and then golden vow. Mixed Physical has Magic boost Tear and Bloodsucking Cracked Tear. After you dodge his jump attack that he uses as soon as you enter, you get a chance to cast it once. I was able to deal 17k damage in one cast alone. After that, I run away as far away as I can and wait for him to use the gravity spell. It's easily dodgable once you figure out the timing. At that point you can summon mimic if you want. The double jump attacks he does can also be punished and another cast will take you into 2nd phase. If you want me to explain how to do it in 2nd phase let me know I didn't want to bother you with more.
this is awesome. i'm having a tough time with this boss. managed to get him down to 25% on phase 2 using impenetrable thorns, kinda of got lucky getting him down to 25% since i usually only get him down to 50% at the most. level 235 currently on my regular first run. i didnt invest in any arcane. i think my arcane is only at the base of 8. int 80/ faith 50. should i get my arcane higher to take advantage of this spell, if so how much?
Yea you need more arcane since it scales with bleed. I recommend only having the minimum amount of faith for the spell then as much as you can into arcane
Crimson amber medallion +3 Crimson seed talisman +1 Dragoncrest great shield talisman Beloved stardust Edit: Haligdrake talisman does not work because he does magic DMG not holy. So you could use Spelldrake instead
@@roobick_X He does Magic damage in phase 1, and Holy damage in phase 2. Holy damage resistance is much more important than anything else in this fight.

Offhand staff will boost thorn sorcery plus certain clothes.

Honestly had an easier time buffing my stam and blocking and just poked him to death
