Highlights include frequent and bizarre surprise boss battles, MASSIVE graphical corruption, a "fight" against all eight robot masters at once, frequent redesigns of Flame Man's stage, amusingly slow music, a puntastic cameo, unfortunate teleportation, and ultimately the total destruction of the game itself.

2:42 until 3:03 - Somewhere around that time interval, the messed up sprite sometimes flickers into what looks like a robot with an elephant's head. Am I the only one who notices this? Then combine that with the fact that it's red and orange, you now have FLAME MAMMOTH!

Glitchy goodness, that which can only be achieved by the old game genie! Ahh I miss these days where a game genie wasn't used to cheat (most of the time), it was used for hilarious glitches! And Gemini, another good video, you never cease to make me laugh when I hear you commentating a video :D

When I was playing around with these codes i left IKAAAE on for a while at tomahawk mans stage and when i turned it off i saw two glitched up tomahawk men running across the screen back and forth but how did this happen?

I have a few more codes to try out if you want, I hope you've been writing these down. D= Another one I found out is GKAAAP, which changes Blizzard Man's pattern. I'd like to see you use EAAAKI on MM1 because.... woah. It's incredible. The ULTIMATE eyesore. Though it still messes up other games, severely.

Anyways, this was reeeeeeaaaaaaaly interesting and funny to watch. I felt that the visuals of this video superseded the commentary, whilst usually it's the other way around. Everything is so vivid and colorful and barely comprehensible I'm glad you left some time to let the atrocities of flashing color speak for themselves. I do wonder though, where did you come up with the former code?

TECHNICAL DETAILS, GO
The robot master entrances in this game are made as "events" to allow for that flashy "Come down from ceiling, lightning strikes, and descent detects floor" thing, so logically, with enough playing around, any action you could do with a result could cause a boss with the right code.
Now play through this game again, except this time with a code that causes a boss to appear every time you use special weapons or suits.
I own Mega Man 6.
The first two minutes of this video sold me a NES Game Genie. Now I need to find one.

Argh, I love total carnage! I need more of these ... do you know any other codes working for the NES-Series that do something like ... _this_? I also can't enter the GPSSXS code for some reason.
If you want a game where you fight multiple Robot Masters at once, I'd suggest trying out the fangame Rock Man 2 Neta. Unless you've already played it, of course.
What I think is happening is that the codes are giving him more than 9 lives, and the game has no '10' graphic to put there, so it grabs a random one. I've noticed this in Pokémon games before.
