Glad to see someone knows about rubbing some oil on the oil filter rubber seal. This is video #4 and you are the first to mention it. It is still a little off putting that 4 videos now have said nothing about Lubrication of the grease fittings. I love how they tell you to service in hours and the owners manual has a section on the hour meter(if equipped). WHAT????
@@HelpMeDIY I pick one up at TSC today. Not my local one but one about 25 miles away, so I will have one. Guess I will leave the key on for 20 minutes so the hours are eight. 😆 🤣 😂
They don’t make their own oil. As long as you have the right weight of oil and right size of filter. They only branded to the make of the engine. Go with what fits and works for you is okay
Spark arrestor is in/or is your muffler, it prevents sparks coming out of the combustion process and starting fires. Great vid, thanks!
+Jacob L. Ohhh 😂 good to know, thanks!
Great video guys!👍🏻
+@jamesharless5357 thank you! 🍻
I love the oil drain pan you use. Where did you get it, please? Overall, it was an amazing video, guys.
+@GregBrownell thanks! I just updated the description with a link to a similar one on Amazon 🍻
Unfortunately none on Amazon are as brilliantly designed as the one you have. Do you know the brand name of it?
@@GregBrownell I bought mine on Amazon

Why a Koehler filter on a Kawasaki motor?
+Ian Shives lots of different brands fit. I think it was the best value/shipping from Amazon.
Where did you find a hour meter ?
+Tracy Cosh I have a video on installing one and there is a link to it in that video’s description
@@HelpMeDIY Thanks
@@tracycosh5433 I’ve ordered ours from the local HD store and is really simple to install. Good luck!
That’s the wrong oil filter for this unit, needs kawasaki oil & filter! Kohler filter goes on a 42”
