- This is a Yoshimura muffler with custom made bracket and used factory down pipe with a step up.
I could have bought the all stainless steel hotlaps exhaust but it wasn’t for me and I'm to impatient to wait lol
This is from a 125 crf exhaust.

Congratz! It's super nice! Perfect combo of aftermarket gear too!!
Great vids, keep them coming!
Agreed! The moto community is amazing. It's great to find friends that share the same passions so we don't think that we're crazy! 🤣👍 --QM
Isn't that the Dam truth. Up here in MN we hibernate for 4 to 5 months out of the year so we forget sometimes there are other nut jobs in the rest of the world that enjoy the twist of the throttle...
Sounds awesome, waiting for some performance tests to see how it improves it, great video!
I would agree with you vic unfortunately its
5 degrees here and won’t being doing any riding for a couple of months.
GREAT VIDEO maybe the only mod that ill make as of right now love the content brotha
Man, after watching this with your mods on them, makes me really want to get this bike even more. haha. And, man. that sounds so much better with that yoshi
Hi Gen So!
Yeah its a fun little project, I’m just killing time here in our Minnesota winter. Hope one day soon I’ll be able to take it for a spin.
Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already thanks for subscribing.
Stay tuned more to come :)
@@rideordie6886 what size adapter do you need for the exhaust what size is the OE pipe?
Wow that sounds way better than stock holy cow! at first i was like meh than heard it and was like woahhhhhh
HEY thanks for the shout out! Before you use this bulb, it was brought to my attention that some people are having issues with it that are not rewiring their Navi's headlight to DC. I haven't put the AC to DC video up yet so just be aware.
Most if not all generator operating motos are in a/c but yes simple fix of adding a diode…
Looks and sounds great!
Lol hey John how’s the xt 125 restoration going!
Wow nice one bro
Bike is looking awesome
Thank you PA
That is beautiful. This will be the first mod if I end up replacing my ruckus lol
Hi Leroy Jenkin.
Yes it sounds awesome, pretty happy with it…
Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already thanks for subscribing.
I think you would enjoy the Navi if you where to get one…
Looks and sounds great.
Thanks, I also really like it and can’t wait to ride it. The family will enjoy the heck out of the Navi
Sounds exactly like it should 😁💯
sounds like a yosh lol
That sounds good and looks 100% better than stock. I've got to have one of those.
Hi TT!
I would agree with you on sound and looks!
Can’t wait to actually rid the Navi.
@@rideordie6886 I understand that. I'm in Idaho. Spent the morning moving 6" of fresh snow. Sick of winter.
@@TT-ch2pz yeah that’s doesn’t sound good. Soon enough this cold weather will be gone, hopefully 🙏
Sweet
holy shit! we just sold our 91' CBR 600 f2. same colour way! ive never seen another one! loved that bike. my dad owned it since brand new. sold it with 7000km on it
nice but you should have kept it... not to many f2's around anymore
@@rideordie6886 was my dad bike, he never rode it anymore. Hurt his back. And insurance for me was 1500 a month. So we sold it and our XL1000 and I got a brand new 2022 MT-09 last weekend!
Miss the hell outa that bike
sick
Looks good
said thing is I don't even have 1 mile on the meter but we are a few month away from warmer weather and rain to wash away all the sand from winter
Nice Exhaust.
Thank you.
I’m pretty happy with it, sound really good 👍
Sounds amazing! Just wish they weren’t so expensive lol. Will be looking forward to what you do with the wheels and tires.
I just stopped buying groceries, I need to lose some weight anyways for track season lol
tires sounds good murray
@@rideordie6886 how much was it and which yosh pipe you end up using?
@@shawnpahl I think I have it in the description…
Thank you for watching and thanks for subscribing!
Nice!
Definitely worth it, sounds a lot better in person…
Sounds great, looks great.. sounds like a grom.. lol
lol in my case sounds like a Navi. Navi came first still waiting on the Grom.
That plastic reflector is not going to last long. The sound is awesome. The job looks excellent.
Hi Tommy T!
Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already thanks for subscribing.
Yes I will be removing the rear licenses plate bracket once I jump into electrical after the next couple of videos, carburetor tuning, tires, then rear licenses plate delete
Hey Bro here do you Buy the transmisión sistema and Yoshimura im from México Vallarta Bro can o help me please
Will you b putting it on a dyno to see if it really makes a increase in HP ?? I would put a slight DB killer on it myself.
What size are the nuts on the exhaust(to hold the flange on)?
Will this pick up gravel on dirt roads?
It's very nice. I was wondering it seems like the back tire has rolling resistance off the ground.
I purposely had the parking brake on, trying to keep the odometer low until I get my multimeter on to match with the odometer. So that’s the resistance…
@@rideordie6886 Thank you.
Why does your rear tire stop so quick. Is your parking break engaged?
exhaust sounds good back wheel looks a bit tight with how fast it's stops spinning do the brakes need ajusting
I purposely had the parking brake on for the video, I didn’t want to move the my odometer but thank you for the tip.
Any power gain ??
did u have to adjust the carb ?? i installed all the same on my Navi and it was almost stalling out when coming to a complete stop .. thanks in advance for your reply and I love your content !!
Yes most Navi’s run rich and will need the Welch plug removed to adjust right. Locale dealer should cover the repair under warranty or you can look at the video I did on removal and how to adjust your Navi
Thank you for the reply !!
Looks and sounds great! Where did you order the tires?
Have to wait lol
Video will be out Saturday stayed tune :)
Hey man, how did you make that custom bracket? Like how did you attach it to the actual muffler itself? Putting one on my Navi and am having trouble with this
Sounds pretty good. Did you use the factory header?
Yeah I’m pretty happy with the work, bracket is the key in this working fyi. But yes factory header was cut. I wasn’t to thrilled about that but my guy only charge a 100.00 for the job so I forgot about the factory exhaust being cut lol
And honestly who knows how long it’s going to take before aftermarket exhaust will be made for the Navi. Mnnthbx might and Yoshimura but that was a maybe.
@@rideordie6886 yeah the only option I know of at the moment is Hotlap Japan but the wait time is insane. I ordered mine on 2/4 with a 4-5 week turn around before it ships.
@@SCMOTO yeah waiting for the only available exhaust wasn’t going to work for me. Other manufacturers are going to take even long to launch something anyways and I’m happy with the Yosh. 355.00 for the muffler and 100.00 for my guy to do his thing.
@@rideordie6886 don't blame you at all. sounds good and cost a lot less.

is the rear tire tread direction backwards ? nice vid ...
Hi D d.
Yes tire tread from Honda is backwards. I have different tires I need to mount. K80 for the front and k56 for the rear…
Thank you for watching and if you haven’t already subscribe, more videos to come.
massive 230 watt power increase
One day i will upgrade my indian navi.thnak you
Definitely worth every penny. Just do it!
Any decent tire upgrades available. Stock tires suck with gravel down from snows up north?
Thanks.
I will have another video out this weekend on the tires I purchased…
Why did you remove your latest video on the cvt upgrade? I had saved it in favorites to use while I have my parts on the way! It was a great reference for socket sizes/torque specs/spring compression etc. Just an overall great video. Nothing else out here that comprehensive…😭
Lol it’s coming back. Last night with the upload something happened with the editing and I fell asleep so I moved some things around and it’s on it way again.
Thank you for watching sammisdaddy!
newly edited vid is up bud...
What’s up with the drag on the rear wheel? It looked like the brakes were dragging. The wheel wasn’t spinning freely
Hey postersm!
Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already thanks for subscribing.
Yes I had the parking brake on, the reason doing so is that I didn’t want the mileage to move to much, I don’t have a mile on the Navi yet and wanted my Runleader multimeter to match the mileage. If that makes sense.
Do you own or plan on getting a Navi?
What size tires did you get? What is the biggest size without hitting something. Thank you.
Hi Robert!
Thank you for watching and if you haven’t already subscribe.
So the biggest size you can get on the front100/90-12
rear 110/90-10
Biggest problem is inventory right now. Took two orders that where canceled and finally I got lucky on the front and settled for different tread pattern on the rear then the front tread pattern but it was the size and same manufacture I wanted, so I’ll just have to wait if and when the rear will ever show up in the USA
Looks a lot better than the standard Yoshi system. Don't like how it does upward and shows the rear wheel completely.
Yeah I agree they kinda followed the rising sun exhaust from Japan but either way it’s a Navi just rock it lol
If I wanna get this exhaust in my navi , do u guys sell the brackets ?
No this is a one of a kind unfortunately
Hey buddy, what model number was the muffler? I will have a buddy of mine weld it to the Navi exhaust.
your going to have to make a bracket but i put a link in the description
I see the moons plate, I’m going there Saturday to look at a Grom.
My wife wants a Navi but I really want something that can at least do 60mph for her…
Sounds good! I wonder what the upgrades will do for performance?
Hey Kyle!
Yes I purchased my Navi from moon motorsports…
And I hope your not going there to sit on my pearl white Grom lol
I’m still waiting on it. I do know they have a blue abs Grom there.
Have to tell your sales guy there’s a guy on UA-cam promoting moon with his Navi lol
@@rideordie6886 haha! waiting for a response I think they have a black one coming in. I want it
@@kzgarage_ vary cool.
Matte paint/ppf would look great on it…
Do you live by moon?
@@rideordie6886 Clearwater!
Just reserved a black Grom!!
@@kzgarage_ nice 👍 I’m in monti… might have to meet up for a Grom ride. There’s no one in the area that I know that really rides.
1 cyl THUMP. Had to turn my speakers down.
Any performance gains you noticed after this upgrade?
It has upgraded air filter and bigger jets also so with the exhaust as well it’s a bit more HP. But just adding exhaust will just change the sounds of the bike you will need to improve your intake and add more fuel. Great beginners bikes on riding and learning the fundamentals
I have a question,is the Navi swing arm one-sided or two sided? I'm going too get one this summer and I wanted too know about the swingarm
Hey Christopher
First thanks for watching. Well there isn’t a swing arm to this scooter it runs off of a cvt (continuously variable transmission is an automatic transmission) so on the left side of the motorcycle that’s where the cvt housing which holds your pulleys and gears which in turn goes to your final reduction and the rear wheel. No swing arm the this puppy lol
@@rideordie6886 Thank you.. what size tires are you running on yours?
@@christopherhubbard3597 I’m currently in the works with tires, I have a set but with trying to get ever mm out of the spacing we don’t have much options and odd tire size with the Navi. I’m trying to maximize the widest tire I can with out messing up functionality. I’m hoping next weekend to have video out on what I went with…
@@rideordie6886 can you grind out some of the swing arm and put a bigger tire on
@@christopherhubbard3597 I will be doing a video on the tires I picked a kinda going over what I found and why I picked them size why’s I’m already a set in that won’t work but I’m also trying to get the the most spaced filled with out destroying the Navi
Easier to sell if it’s not hacked up, but that’s just me brother
The actual muffler has a bracket but your guy had to make a bracket to mount it?
Yes sir
Did you put larger tire on the rear?
Hey anthony90740
Thank you for watching and subscribe if you haven't already.
Yes I installed a wider tire on front and rear. On my channel I go over the tires I picked for the Navi.
Buddy can i put the fender back?
What do you mean by can you put the fender back?
i might be wrong..... why that rear tire looks like is on backward?
Haven’t done anything to the tires? Factory tire and rims. Why do you say that?
@@rideordie6886 if you look at the direction of the grooves, usually they point forward when looking from the top.
@@papercut1987 yes most tires do but the Navi is this way. It to keep down noise and vibration in the reverse tire pattern. And I’m sure there’s other reasons as well
how tall are you will this bike be too small for me im 6'1?
Hey bsabd315
Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already subscribe.
I’m 6’2 and it’s actually pretty comfortable for me.
Did you install yourself any welding
Custom made bracket that was welded and also used the existing header with a couple of step ups. Yes it was welded
@RideorDie Quick question...when you say "step-up", is the stock pipe 1/2 inch? So you have to go up to 1 inch and then again to 1 1/2 to get into the Yoshi? I wonder as more after market options come out will their pipe coming from the head be larger and that would help performance?
Where can I get a exhaust for my Navi??
The only place that I know of is hot laps out of Japan I believe other then that you will have to make your own exhaust, no one in the states is making one…
Nice video, how much is the exhaust? Thanks 😊
600~ish I think
What model is that exhaust?
Thanks for watching and subscribe.
Look in the description I put the Yoshimura muffler in there, you will need to make a bracket and weld exhaust pipes together fyi
Can somebody tell me what all the hype is about this six to $700 exhaust system?? I recently went to a Grom meet and everyone had the Yoshi exhaust except for me I got the $200 exhaust system from Vader parts and it sounds so much better than the Yoshi! Much more dominant sounding!!
Well my Yosh wasn’t 700.00 I payed 355.00 plus tax but Yoshimura is trusted performance. Yoshi's, Akra, Arrow etc are all good quality exhaust systems. They save a little bit of weight also. Some of us are trying to push every horsepower out of there bike. Hope this helps
Thanks for watching and subscribe if you haven’t already:)
I probably would’ve gotten it myself if I could’ve got it for cheaper but from what I looked around I could only find one as cheap as $650 I ended up getting one for 200 it has an amazing sound to it, lightweight and makes the bike run better!
What is the difference in performance?
More acceleration/torque
@@rideordie6886 sorry, I meant to ask if you measured before and after top speed or acceleration 0-50. Would love to get to 55 on my Navi
@@matthewjennings7645 so over the winter I purchased my Navi so I wasn’t able to ride it, Minnesota winters are long… but I couldn’t ride the Navi so I just started to mod the crap out of it, with that I wasn’t able to test out before working. But with What I have done has definitely made the navi quicker definitely quicker the the Grom of the start tell about 35/40 mph
Tell me about that 91 F2!!!

What do you want to know? It’s a classic now
@@rideordie6886 Just finished restoring the same one .. you just don’t see the red and whites in that condition very often .. was the first bike I bought new just to race.
@@bukination vary nice love the f2!
My f2 is my first street bike so she’s a keeper…
Come to think of it I better look for the side fairings. There’s 33,000 on it I believe
The rear wheel should spin freely ...It has a problem
I purposely had the parking brake on, trying to keep the odometer low until I get my multimeter on to match with the odometer. So that’s the resistance…
Thank you for watching and I hope you subscribe. More videos to come Julio.
