Finally! The Hot Lap exhaust has come in and I get to install it. Hot Lap Exhaust - www.hotlap-japan.com/product-... Carb Jet Video - • Honda Navi carburetor ...
Nice vídeo. I have the Serpento Nova which is the chinese copy of the Honda Navi. Now I know I could do that too. I saw you had to remove the rear fender and original air filter. Cheers from El Salvador!
tight ass video man. very cool. like the sound alot. I might get one someday. it'd sit in my garage alot tho cuz i dont drive much. but just as a collectible.
Nice video! It does look like a fairly simple install, but is there some way to make a bracket to attach a support for the back fender? I'd like to keep the fender, if possible. Thanks!
Hotlap specializes in the small bore scooter and motorcycle aftermarket, especially Honda stuff. When I finally get a Honda I'm going to them for my exhaust.
Hello S2KP!, Would you recommend this to a first time rider with a 10 mile city commute? Increasing gas prices make the Navi a more interesting alternative.
I have been very fortunate to have the ability to collect super bikes and I will tell you right now, I enjoy riding my navi around town and to work almost as much as I enjoyed bombing around the track. It is an absolutely ideal mini Moto to get into the hobby as well as having an extraordinarily reliable fuel saver.
Exhaust sounds awesome man. Sounds like yoir idle is set too low, or is too low, idles so low it seemed to cut out. Adjust the idle screw if there is one. Higher idle is better on some bikes, especially cvt bikes like scooters, can help give instant take off response.
Hi from Nicaragua, without re-jetting the carb, acceleration, Velocity; how much gain will the bike have with the exhaust? If I don't do so, would be badly for my bike installing it alone without upgrades? The last question, is the webpage allows me card or PayPal? Thanks, Gracias.
Its hard to say what the power gains are from the exhaust alone. I have done a few mods at one time. I can say the upgrades to the cvt have done the most. Videos on that coming soon.
you think i should get a honda navi or honda grom? it's hard to choose because i feel like the navi has more maintenance but is like half the price, while the grom is a little faster and cooler, but is 2x the cost.
You can't do one without the other she will have a lean condition on deceleration and pop and back fire with no performance gain. 20 years a mechanic with loads of experience in this stuff.
I saw your meet up video. That was cool to see! Do you really think it’s worth the 350.00 400.00 bucks in scooter swap shops carb kit. I’m only asking because buying a gy6 motor might be a better investment?
Honestly, it blew my mind. It took off so fast and got up to speed very quick. I am definitely ordering one for mine. I'm not sure if the GY6 motor would be a better investment only because I prefer keeping the stock motor.
@@s2kp118 good to know thanks guys for doing the caparison. Im still waiting for the my Grom so I don't know if ill be adding the upgraded carb as my navi is for the fam...
Okay please don't judge but I'm trying to buy the same exhaust and know nothing about bikes this is my beginner bike, when I go on the link it asks about an efi bung what is that and should I get that too? 😅
I’m a new rider and just picked up my Navi a few days ago. The stock exhaust looks totally hideous. Can I add this without rejetting the carb, purely for cosmetics? Not looking for performance gains just yet.
I really wish there was a point of just riding it without commentary. I just wanted to hear what it sounded like, under a load without someone talking over the exhaust system.
@@Name_______ agreed, but for new riders who dont know how to work on things this is perfect, cheap, easy to ride, its gonna get a lot more people into bikes
don't know where you live but FYI with all the gasoline powered vehicle changes that are happening from the climate change thing the powers that be are placing laws in effect or enforcing ones already in effect which pertain to leaving the factory exhaust system on the vehicle in order for said vehicle to pass inspection every year. I live in NY and when I set up an appointment to get my motorcycle inspected last month the first question they asked was "Is the stock exhaust still on the bike"??? So be prepared to have to put your stock pipes and muffler back on. I imagine it will be a federal law if it isn't already. I honestly don't understand why so many motorcycle riders waste so much money on loud, annoying, expensive exhaust systems that only seem to piss motorcycle haters off even more for a negligible, (and probably more mental than actual) power increase...(much like when you clipped a card into bicycle spokes as a kid and seemed to go 10 MPH faster just from the sound...) plus sooner or later will have to change it back to stock once a year.
these chain saw mufflers are annoying as F. always the "goofy kid down the street" has them. not any louder than a harley but fingers on the chalk board and not a cool power sound like HD.
Nice upgrade it sounds a whole lot better too
Cool channel man! Love the Navi content!
Thanks!
Get mine today. Can't wait.
Awesome content brotha
Sounds Pretty Good 😎

I haven’t looked into that yet but I’m sure I will. I would also like to keep the rear fender if possible.
Its cool there making exhaust already, The engine would run better with a pipe about twice as long though.

Yes! This would be a perfect commuter and starter bike! I actually use this bike to commute to work as well.

I just bought one. NO REGRETS. So fun
I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 and just filled up my Navi from half a tank and only cost me $1:60. I love mine!
Did you order exhaust with the bung or no bung?
navi doesnt burn lots of gas so i really like it

Nice dude; appreciate the content. Does that mean the rear fender won’t fit after the upgrade?
No problem! Yea, the rear fender won't bolt up with the new exhaust.
Great video dude!
How much is the exhaust?
Hi from Nicaragua, without re-jetting the carb, acceleration, Velocity; how much gain will the bike have with the exhaust?

You aren't getting anything from any of these on this garbage scooter...
How you puchase this silencer of navi i need plz give me link??
What are those 2 buttons below the gas tank?
i plan on buying one because i can easily fit 2 in my scion xb
also whats the power gain of the exhaust? 150 watts?
Its hard to say what the power gains are from the exhaust alone. I have done a few mods at one time. I can say the upgrades to the cvt have done the most. Videos on that coming soon.
It’s possible that’s it’s slower depending on how it’s tuned currently
Hello brother, could you share a purchase link for the exhaust pipe? Thank you

What jets did you use when installing exhaust?
you think i should get a honda navi or honda grom? it's hard to choose because i feel like the navi has more maintenance but is like half the price, while the grom is a little faster and cooler, but is 2x the cost.
That’s a tough question l. I was stuck with the same decision and in the end it was the price that pushed me towards the Navi.
The grom is a real bike..... This is a piece of shit scooter....
Would the carb need to be rejetted with just an exhaust change and nothing else?

a question friend, what to withdraw is what you select on the page as EFI BUNG, do you think I should buy that additional part?
You only need it if you're planning on using a wide band O2 for tuning. So you probably won't need it if you don't plan on any major upgrades
@@s2kp118 i understand, thanks for the explanation
Okay please don't judge but I'm trying to buy the same exhaust and know nothing about bikes this is my beginner bike, when I go on the link it asks about an efi bung what is that and should I get that too? 😅
You don't need it. Its only if you want to add a wideband O2 sensor for tuning.
Do you know if its possible to change the tires for bigger ones on this bike?
I don't think you can go much bigger at least in the rear due to lack of space.
Did you ordered it with the EFI bung? Also what size is that rear tire?
I did not unfortunately. I plan on having the EFI bung welded in soon. The rear tire is the factory 90/100/10.
@@s2kp118 is the EFI bung something it needs? I also ordered it without.
@@Mykull84 You don't need it unless you want to add a wideband O2 for some tuning.

I'm sure you can. I know some people have done it without re jetting the carb.
It makes the bike slower I just installed mine without rejetting and it’s slower now
Performance gains! Hahaha skip breakfast and it may go a little faster!
@@Broxty broke ass can't get one and trolling, huh? Lol
can I run this exhaust with the EFI bung while the bike is completely stock? Then later on do performance mods
Yea you can. I just don't think the exhaust comes with a plug for the EFI bung.
@@s2kp118 great thanks bro, also what size tools do you need for this install? I didnt catch it if you mentioned it.
How long did it take you to get the exhaust
A little over a month.
Can you re-jet with the carb on the bike??
I don’t think so
Do you have to reject a card if you just replace the exhaust exhaust
You can replace it without re jetting but you wont get the full potential of the upgrade.
Cuánto cuesta cambiar el tubo de escape
Tell me where to get this? A Brand or a key word
Where did you get that exhaust from?

Can u drop the link for the exhaust🙏🏻

Did you buy exhaust with the bung or no bung?
I got it without the bung.
sounds like a grom
Can I replace the exhaust without jet carburetor
yes
everything should be fine you just wont get the maximum perfomance out of the higher flow exhuast system
Did it change your gas mileage much?
The exhaust alone did not but once you start to re-jet the carb it will.
do u know the header size of the stock exhaust?
I don’t but I will take a measurement and post it.
@@s2kp118 definitely appreciate it !
