Update I think the belt is broken in a little better after the dyno runs I can hit the rev limiter on the street now maybe the exhaust actually did help somehow lol or maybe the belt just works better now 😅 if anyone knows how to eliminate the rev limiter leave a comment please 🙏
I don’t know about the limiter but look into variator sliders to change the way it acts when you get on the throttle. It can affect your top speed some too
There is a new thing that makes the rev limit higher
I heard from my buddy who works as an dyno technician at the Honda manufacturing center he told me that the horsepower number Honda states that the Navi has is with the Vance and Hines exhaust actually installed on the bike believe it or not and the groms stated hp is actually with an k&n air filter installed that Honda expects no one to dyno their bikes stock so they think they will never get caught lying about the hp
there is a rev limiter adjust / delete kit and CDI combo from rolling wrench, I ordered one as well and people say they've got their navis up to 10.5K RPM from the stock 8.5K limit, uses stock connectors,with parts being so cheap I'm not too worried about replacing things and I'm going to try and squeeze as much speed as possible out of it, so I'm very interested in this video series

Well it's finally here just what you ask for A CDI rev delete and coil upgrade thats plug and play from
Rolling Wrench $200 US this should be the first upgrade , I believe he said 5 mph more and he is at I think 5000 feet . Plus A racing variator some lighter weights a cluch spring kit. Then exhaust and a carb tune I bet that will get you your 60 mph without the cam . Please try all the above mentioned so I can install these on mine . Then maybe I can get my new XR150L to hit 65 mph or maybe 70 mph . Currently I can get 62 mph , with 1400 miles on the odometer using 91 octane . stock bike .

They make the kits for them. There fairly cheap off Amazon comes with a DCI box and new spark plug & coil.

Put 12 gram rollers in the stock variator it will make a big difference
I'm very interested in the camshaft, as I have recently ordered the DCR one, as well as the rev limiter delete / coil combo from rolling wrench. about 3 days into my Navi ownership and I'm aiming on trying to make it get as much power as possible because it's so cheap to replace any parts, and would be actually usable to commute on the highway. in stock form,I'm worried about getting pulled over for going too slow! experienced both of the same results that the bike does not get very good gas mileage and has the top speed of about 52. that doesn't mean I don't love the hell out of it though. great channel, are you going to make a video on the camshaft results with the Navi?

Doing a jet change with the exhaust and monitoring afr’s would have been nice. It’s carbureted, a slip on isn’t going to do anything.

Tinkering with the cvt tends to increase top speed.
You have to tune a carburetor it's running lean that's why it lost power

I bought and sold this exhaust quickly due to it being annoyingly loud.
How are you getting such poor fuel economy? Mine isn't getting what Honda claims (and I would really like it to be) but it is still getting 82mpg.
I can say that mine got bad fuel mileage before it was broken in , it took at least 1000 miles or more for that. Mostly because now I drive it at WOT or wide open throttle all the time . I get 65-70 mpg. regular gas .

Grom = 1.6 gal, Navi = 0.8 gal.... gee no wonder you can't go as far on a tank...
