You totally saved my first batch of watermelon jelly. I tried to follow the confusing directions on the surejel package and I looked other places but then I found this video. I put my juice back in a pot and did it just like you did and it worked. Thank you so much.

I don't see why you couldn't I like to use liquid in my flower jellies or jellies that I use an infusion in and if you mash the water melon it is pretty liquidy so should do great . Thanks for watching
Thanks for your video, but i'm confused, as you started your video with the watermelon already in your bowl, i';ve never done watermelon jelly, so how do you start the process, I mean how do you start totally from scratch.
How long to you water bathe the jelly? 5 minutes or 10?

Ma'am can the sugar be subed? With sweetnlow?
I honestly don't know I have never tried making any jelly or preserves with sweet n low you may wanna google can sweet n low be subbed for sugar in making jelly I wish I could be of more help.
You can use Splenda brand to cook with but I'm not sure about Sweet and Low

Why do you add the butter?
Is it real butter or margarine, can you use other oils like olive oils or coconut oil?
It helps cut down on the foam but you don't have to use it all I use butter or margarine but no I have not used oils just a pat of butter for cutting down on the foam. Thanks for watching.
I remember seeing my great grandmother and grandmother add butter before, and forgot all about it until seeing you do it. Brought back precious memories of being a country kid in south Alabama. Thank you!
For Leslie, the butter, it’s a fat thing not an oil thing. Lots of people assume the oil like properties of butter or margarine are the key to things, when it’s more about the fat properties. Hope that helps.
