today i have watched 21 videos from you will continue tommorrow. i hope this helps. have been a subbie for 3 years.
I love listening to you talk through your process. I am going back to older videos that I haven't seen yet. I hope it helps since i can't afford to donate to the GofundMe. I wish you well and hope for a quick recovery.
Heather, I just finished making your recipe and it is terrific!!!! I used a few more ounces of cranberries and 6 tablespoons of RealFruit Classic Pectin instead of what you used and it came awesome!!! It set up perfectly, better than any other jam I have done in the past. It is absolutely delicious! I got four 8 oz jars and a little more than five 4 oz jars. I'm definitely going to make this again. I did not use any pepper seeds because my wife does not like hot hot food but she loves this recipe. Thank you for taking the time to show us how.
Don
I actually at 63 years old had just tried homemade cranberry sauce , I had been missing out all my life . I am 65 now . I cannot wait to try this , I just know it is delish !
tryout now 65 and I am 83, I cant wait to make it... SO let's go and compare and have fun!!. let's do it ....
family will be trilled if they notice. WE CAN DO THIS>>>>>
Since finding your video in December, I've made this for Christmas presents. Everyone wants more. I even tweaked it and made a tropical peach pepper jelly.. It's a HUGE hit. My 97 year old Grandmother says it's the best jam she has ever had. To me that was a complement beyond measure, as she canned when I was younger. Love your videos 😁
Sounds great! I bet that was delicious!
I love that you use the jars you have! In other videos I see perfectly matched hearts, rings all the same color - matching lids, of course - and I think "who are you people?!" Lol.
I appreciate you showing the entire process!! It’s like I’m in the kitchen with you 😊
Heather, Can’t tell you enough how much we enjoy your long vids ofstirring and talking to us. It’s so helpful and tranquilizing, so don’t worry about boring us. This is a delicious jelly to compliment turkey or chicken. God bless you.
Awwww thanks mama! Happy Thanksgiving!🦃🍁🍽❤️
“The cleaner the jars and lids the safer the results.” Mom Sawyer, my mother who grew up in the depression.
i wish everyone followed this advice. 🥰
Praying you and your family UP, sweet Heather!
Love hot pepper jelly with a shmear of cream cheese on fresh French bread!!
Wishing you a speedy recovery. God bless. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the long videos. I have watched you for years. Can I just say you make me feel like I am sitting at your kitchen table chatting with a friend. you've let us into your home and made us feel like we've gotten a warm hug from someone very special. Thank yoy again. Caulette
That is the sweetest compliment. Thank you so much!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You know I am so sure this Cranberry jalapeño jelly would be amazing on chicken wings! Bake the wings and then toss in this jelly. Oh yum!
shut the front door!!!! YESSSSS!!!!!
The Kneady Homesteader When I was on vacation to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, a restaurant had strawberry jalapeño wings! They were so good! I know you’re allergic to strawberries but I know the cranberry will be delicious!!
Yes, I agree. And use with coconut shrimp for a dipping sauce.
I would love to see the canning video for the apricots and pineapple. I know it’s a lot of work but I appreciate you sharing it with us. Thank you.
Of course we want to see it. All your hard work is appreciated.
I have canned since I was 18 (I'm now 59). I have never strayed from Ball jars and lids. Now Heather, you having me thinking I need to expand my horizons.
Haven't canned in years...you do inspire me!
I like your long videos. Today you kept me company while I folded many loads of laundry. 😁
Thank you! It took me forever to find a recipe I can make for my step father! He only lies the canned cranberry sauce. I make a nice cranberry sauce but its got "stuff" in it and he just wants the jellied kind. I asked a bunch of YT canners and they did not answer me. I was asking if I could just use clear gel or pectin. You not only answered all my questions, but you showed what it looks like after the canning process! Something I was also looking for. THANK YOU. I love your vids you are a great teacher!
Yay! So happy I could help. Happy Canning and I know your dad will love anything you make for him!🥰
Cranberry & Red Pepper would be interesting and good colour.

I made cranberry jalapeño jam yesterday, I only used 1/3 cup of jalapeños, I couldn’t taste the jalapeños very well, but the jelly is really good , will be giving some of them away as Christmas gifts, if I make it again I will use more jalapeños. Thank you for your videos, I truly enjoy them.

@@TheKneadyHomesteader I know right you got the room now. The kids will Love it too. Sunflowers are fun , esp. the Giant Mammoth. Also if you get grape jelly and put it out somehow it will bring you Orioles. The Sunflowers the Finches Love them. Then there are cute hummingbird feeder. There is even a YARDSTICK BEAN you can buy .It is actually as long as a YARDSTICK. You cut it in pieces when harvesting. You would need a trellis.
Here is a Link yo some Fun* names for planting for kids.
Another idea is if you like herbs for Tea or cooking, for a Tea Garden. With fairies, stepping Stones the kids can make with quick dry cement and old round pie pans. Add leaves or marbles or anything .

I've made that recipe but didn't use as many jalapenos!! I loved it! I used the empty olive jars from dollar tree. They seal very well in water bath!!
New to canning, have been watching your videos for a few days and love your teaching method, your great. Now I don't feel so intimidated and this will be my first to can. Have to try it on my meat and cream cheese. Than you. Keep the videos coming. Have a blessed week.

Continuing to watch your playlist.
This looks so good I want to try it. It will be my first time making any jelly, jam or preserve. Wish me luck! If I'm making a very small batch for myself can I skip the hot water bath at the end ? Looking forward to more of your recipe videos. Very informative, and I like that you make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing.
Look at that deep shiny, fruity , spicy stew!!! More magic from Heather's kitchen! Like I've said before, maybe a cook book is in the future! Heal, child of God. Take your time and heal. We will still be here.
Very pretty - on the spoon and in the jars. Little works of art.
That sounds really amazing! I get to bring leftovers and the turkey bones from 2 Thanksgiving dinners this year. I plan on eating leftover turkey sandwiches and canning all week. This will be the perfect go with :)
Gloves are an absolute must! I once made the mistake of not using any, when preparing to freeze hot banana peppers. My hands burned for four hours, my palms were bright red!! Never again!!🥴🔥🔥
I made this cranberry jalapeño jelly today and I did it a bit differently. I couldn't get to my pectin so I googled cranberry jelly without pectin. I didn't have the energy to go to the store!! I used the recipe without pectin and only added 1 jalapeño, gave enough heat for me. I boiled for 4 minutes at a full rolling boil then turned off heat and moved the pan from the heat. I made 3 batches, got 12 jars. I waterbathed them for 10 min and let sit for 5. It thickened up and set up well. I was so happy. All I used was cranberries, 1 jalapeno,
water, and sugar. I also remembered to add the bit if butter.. no foam, no coloring and mine turned out beautiful! It is a bit tart, but soooo good. Thank you for making me want to make it. I've never cooked cranberries, they sound funny when they pop. So that's my "renegade" recipe. I did as you suggested and checked out a lot of recipes and wound up using the one with no pectin. Heather, I so appreciate all of your hints and cooking lessons. 💜💜 4 minutes is a long time to stir. I did use an immersion blender to break up the berries.
OMG Heather. Looks so good!! I am definitely gonna try the Weck jars! Thanks for sharing this beautiful jam recipe!!
Beautiful Heather I'm going to have to try this for sure. I'm loving the Weck Jars girl
